Property cleanliness is our top requirement for any stay. We are willing to drive further just to achieve this. The hosts here provide a property that is true to the listing. Top communication and amenities make it feel better than a hotel. Would absolutely stay again, the pictures are accurate of what you can expect.

We were a family of 4 and we were very comfortable. The kitchen is amazing, is a full stove and huge microwave with a large refrigerator. The washer and dryer came super handy. The views in the morning are amazing, it has some of the best views I have seen in San Diego. It has windows in every angle. Close enough to everything (20 mins to any attraction). If you are looking for a great place to retreat after a long day of sightseeing, this is the place!!!! The supermarket (VONS) is about a mile away. Extremely quiet and it has a super cute hang out place that makes you feel like you are in a cabin up in the mountains somewhere remote, but you are not. Josh was the most attentive host we’ve ever deal in a rental…amazing place.

We had a wonderful stay at this mountain location. A beautiful view on three sides of our room. Very clean, very quiet. Our small dog loved it, she was very content. It was equipped with everything that is needed, just like our home. The location was a bit hard to find at first but very secure. We would recommend this place to anyone. The owners are very kind and cordial.Kudos to them.

This spot has everything. Fridge, freezer, well appointed kitchen. Well cared for. View. The Owners were very communicative and helpful. You definitely want to stay here!If I had any tip for future vrbo’ers it would be this place can be a bit hard to find. Had to drive the maze a few times to remember it. But the owners were helpful in that also, leaving a video guide to help, and even walking me in the first night

I booked a trip to stay near my family for the holidays. I was pleased to hear it was okay to bring my two small dogs. The loft is absolutely stunning with amazing views and the perfect size for a couple and some furbabies. The owner was very communicative throughout the entire process and made sure we were comfortable. I will definitely book again in the future!

It was the best experience we have had with a Vrbo stay. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful with check in. The cleanliness was better than any hotel we have ever stayed in. Everything was ready to use from dishes to laundry. If you are looking for a great and safe place to stay in San Diego this is it! I forgot to mention the views! Anywhere you are standing you have a beautiful view of San Diego.

The location is peaceful and private and felt safe away from too much hum and noise of the commercial areas. Very gorgeous views every direction you look out with adorable chickens in the back yard. Our host Josh was friendly and understanding. The property being pet friendly was a part of why we chose this rental but we didn't end up bringing our cat because of his sensitive health. The property does have a cat that we saw in the yard. Cute rabbits and lots of beautiful birds and wildlife in the trees. The driveway had convenient parking right out front and no walking by traffic except for the neighborhoods residents. Cute side patio for use was nice to sit outside at night. Air conditioner works well to keep the space cool, works even better if the shades are left down to keep out sun. Very clean, kitchen was well stocked with coffee and utensils for making simple meals.

We loved everything about our stay. Great communication from the moment we made our reservation through our time there. Loved the quaintness and charm of the location and it was the perfect home base for a weekend of baseball and exploring the San Diego coastline. It had everything we needed. Would recommend/stay there again.

Josh is a really super nice guy and not a hover host, he is 100% available if you need his help . The view is beautiful and the area safe. I cannot find any negatives about this Vrbo. We will return as we have family in SD.

Stayed for 5 days as our home remodel was not completed on time. Close to our house and everything we needed. Attentive host and very clean. Enjoyed the bottle of wine left for us. Thanks Josh!

We stayed 5 nites. There's no cliset to hang clothes or dresser to put clothis in. We had to luve out of our suitcase for the week. Bed is too small. I think its a double. Property manager was great! We had issues with TV and he had it fixed immediately. The coffee maker was broken and we had a new one the next morning. We brought our dog and taking her out at night was tough because there was no lighting on the side of the house.

Extremely quiet and it has a super cute hang out place that makes you feel like you are in a cabin up in the mountains somewhere remote, but you are not. Josh was the most attentive host we’ve ever deal in a rental…amazing place.

We had a wonderful stay at this mountain location. A beautiful view on three sides of our room. Very clean, very quiet. Our small dog loved it, she was very content. It was equipped with everything that is needed, just like our home. The location was a bit hard to find at first but very secure. We would recommend this place to anyone. The owners are very kind and cordial.Kudos to them.

This spot has everything. Fridge, freezer, well appointed kitchen. Well cared for. View. The Owners were very communicative and helpful. You definitely want to stay here!If I had any tip for future vrbo’ers it would be this place can be a bit hard to find. Had to drive the maze a few times to remember it. But the owners were helpful in that also, leaving a video guide to help, and even walking me in the first night

Came to Hilltop with my two kids to visit family. If I had to sum up my experience in one statement, it would be a peaceful getaway. Plenty of room, very clean, and the views are unmatched. Kids thoroughly enjoyed their time, and I couldn’t be happier. Oh, and did I mention you are 5 minutes from all amenities in El Cajon or Ranch San Diego? Best of all worlds. We will be back.

The location is peaceful and private and felt safe away from too much hum and noise of the commercial areas. Very gorgeous views every direction you look out with adorable chickens in the back yard. Our host Josh was friendly and understanding. The property being pet friendly was a part of why we chose this rental but we didn't end up bringing our cat because of his sensitive health. The property does have a cat that we saw in the yard. Cute rabbits and lots of beautiful birds and wildlife in the trees. The driveway had convenient parking right out front and no walking by traffic except for the neighborhoods residents. Cute side patio for use was nice to sit outside at night. Air conditioner works well to keep the space cool, works even better if the shades are left down to keep out sun. Very clean, kitchen was well stocked with coffee and utensils for making simple meals.

Our stay was wonderful!! We stocked up on travel size shampoo conditioner and body wash and briught extra towels because we're used to them not being privided - we could have saved the money. Aside from that we had coffee next to the machine and water in the fridge, extra towels atop the washer, and our host had fired up the AC before we arrived to make sure it was a perfect checkin. The views were absolutely astounding, especially at night. Photos could never do it justice. The neighborhood is just beautiful and especially as someone who has never visited California, it was exactly what i wanted in a place to stay. 30 minutes from downtown San Diego, 30 minutes from Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, we even drove 2 hours to see a Dodgers game in LA and drove to Arizona doen next to the Mexican border just to take in the sights. Wonderful, accessible, communicative hosts and a really really great location for a stay in southern California. Can't say enough good things about this place!!!!! PERFECT for two people and if we hadn't flown, our two dogs too!!!!!

We had a great stay at this clean, cozy and comfortable loft! The views cannot be over-exaggerated! Josh was very responsive and helpful, beds were comfy, water hot, appliances worked great. Definitely recommend!
