This was a great stay in a pinch. Pet friendly. Our room was clean. Bring your fishing gear as you will have access to the pier. Amazing sunrise and sunsets! Hot breakfast. Heated pool. Friendly staff. Great price. AC is super cold!

For all that it offers this is a great find. The views of the bay are excellent and the fishing pier is a great opportunity to wet your line. The pool area was small but has everything you need. The grilling area could use a little TLC and it would be awesome. The room had plenty of space and the breakfast was very good.

The older lady in the evening was extremely pleasant and friendly and professional. The two younger ladies in the daytime were not the least bit friendly, appeared to be irritable and we’re not welcoming. The phone in my room did not work and when I mentioned it to the staff, they said oh none of the phones work. if that is the case, they should be removed. Breakfast and coffee was great. Room 107 had black mold in the bathroom room 109 had a broken shampoo dispenser that kept falling off the wall. Pool water was dirty murky.

Front of the fishing pier, very noisy, common areas dirty, tv didn’t work , my room didn’t have enough furniture, but it was very clean , front desk Vanessa she was very kind and helpful, girl @ morning very awake for needs; no machine ice working, halls around hotel not clean .

The location and price was perfect for an end of Summer fishing trip with my family. Free breakfast is always a plus before going to their private pier to fish. The pool was clean and had bbq pits for cooking and enjoying some family time. We will be coming back.

Bed sheets had multiple blood stains as well as the comforter. There was also cheese stains on she comforter. Pillows were stained and pillow cases had some type of blood stain.The microwave had some type of melted food inside. The toilet seat had feces on the top of the toilet. Once I finished wiping the toilet seat was filthy. A/c made a screeching noise when it was on.

The rooms are budget-friendly, and we only stayed because we were part of a group. Out of the four rooms our group booked, ours (Room 107) was the only one with major issues—and unfortunately, it was the worst room I’ve ever stayed in. The bathroom ceiling and shower tiles were covered in black mold, which is a serious health concern and should be addressed with professional remediation before the room is used again. We reported everything to the front desk and management, but no resolution was offered. Other problems included a broken toilet paper holder, non-working phones, chewed-up doors (likely from pets), and a broken microwave handle. While I didn’t expect much at this price point, the mold made the room completely unacceptable. Even though the other rooms in our group didn’t have these issues, I won’t be returning due to the condition of our room and the lack of response from staff.

It's unbelievable that they are letting such a nice place deteriorate like they are. The floors and tables had sticky spots all over them, the dust was a quarter inch thick on the lamps and stuff. The person they call housekeeper needs to wear a hairnet. The handle on the door was so messed up that you can't get in it.

Very outdated and in need of repair. Bathroom had mold, rust and we killed two roaches (along with a palmetto bug in the shower). Our vehicle also had two door handles broken over night from what we can only guess was someone trying to break in. Staff was very friendly and the view was very nice. We were looking forward to our stay from the prior reviews, but our stay was not pleasant.

The property itself was good, close to piers and restaurants. The room was spacious but dirty and old. The wifi signal was weak and cut off and on while watching TV. They say they are a dog friendly hotel but do not specify how much they charge until you get there. Had i known i would've left my dog at home. It cost an extra $80. The air unit made very loud noise when it turned on. They need to do a better job at cleaning the rooms. The staff was very nice. We had no problem checking in. They had designated spots for your dogs and had poop baggies available as well.

I mainly chose this property due to the high rating from previous customers plus a very competitive rate. When we arrived at the location we were greeted by Vanessa at the front desk who made us feel very welcome right away and gave us first class service. The property lived up in every way to the 8.6 rating from prior reviews. It is an older establishment, but had been renovated very well and our room was just as modern as any newly constructed hotel. The room was very spacious, very modern, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The parking was very convenient too. I’d definitely stay at this property again and personally give it a 9.5 out of 10.

The comfortable beds was a major plus for all 4 of us. The view of the bay was beautiful and able to walk out on the pier was nice. Breakfast was good. Staff was extremely kind, pleasant and very friendly. Would definitely stay at this location again.

I really like the location. It's on the Aransas Bay with it's own pier. It was a great place for bird watching and walking. It was convenient to great dining and Historical explorations. The beds were comfy and the room spacious.

I have stayed here a few times and it is nice. Clean rooms, easy access to the ocean, complementary breakfast provided. The only downside is that the walls are very thin and you can hear when the people in the rooms next to you are talking, walking around loudly, moving furniture, etc.

Excellent fishing trip stay. The room was so big we could have put 3 air mattresses down. Great location and has its own private fishing pier. Not the cleanest but that comes with the territory.

Trash cans were always full, and there was no hot water. I had asked front desk if they can check the hot water and the front desk night manager I guess decided to tell me to go to the mechanical room and turn the pilot up at this point, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. He did inform me that he was going to let maintenance know as soon as possible .The next morning I go and try the breakfast very few limited items, but it was OK and I had mentioned to the front clerk at this time that if they fix the issue upstairs and she have no recollection of anything was told to her from last night. She did write it down and told me she was going to call maintenance and this is the second time mind you. At the time of check out, I asked her if they ever reserved a problem and she told me that the pilot was off from their boiler and I was telling her why would a front desk night manager tell me to turn up the pilot when that pilot was off? And she had no answer, thank goodness I ignored his request as I don’t work at this hotel and I didn’t go upstairs as I was being asked to go upstairs to turn up a pilot that was off could imagine all the gas that could’ve been leaked in the mechanic room never will I come back

Second time to stay at property. Both times the staff have been courteous, helpful and pleasant. Property is very clean. Location close to the bay is amazing.

We have stayed her for the last 6 -7 years now at least 5X a year. This last visit really disappointed us and kinda makes us want to find a new family spot now. I asked if there was new owners or management and staff indicated that there was not new manager or owner in the last two years. As somebody that has visited this location numerous times I noted major change to the way that the guest is treated as well as the property itself is being maintained. Also staff needs to be reviewed. I knew coming in on a holiday weekend it was gonna be emptied out and when we saw the trash we attributed it to that. Came in on Sunday and by Tuesday trash was still posted at our door. They removed after 4pm just to create a new pile. This was in front of our door and neighbors door. It seems if you are placed by the staff areas they use your door and walkway as their workspace and you intruding. Also don’t mind the music blaring while they work. I totally get it I like music when I do my do my laundry but there are guests, resting and or on vacation. I don’t wanna hear staff drama. Be mindful of what guests can hear. The pool area had more seating than our last trip however the remained green and clouded our complete 4 night stay.

Also staff needs to be reviewed. I knew coming in on a holiday weekend it was gonna be emptied out and when we saw the trash we attributed it to that. Came in on Sunday and by Tuesday trash was still posted at our door. They removed after 4pm just to create a new pile. This was in front of our door and neighbors door. It seems if you are placed by the staff areas they use your door and walkway as their workspace and you intruding. Also don’t mind the music blaring while they work. I totally get it I like music when I do my do my laundry but there are guests, resting and or on vacation. I don’t wanna hear staff drama. Be mindful of what guests can hear. The pool area had more seating than our last trip however the remained green and clouded our complete 4 night stay.

We stayed on a Sunday night in December. Was very quiet, clean, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Their fishing pier was also well lit and maintained. Can't beat it for the price. Oh, the breakfast was also very good. We will definitely be staying there again in the future.

My only complaint, Quality Inn is not located in Rockport, it is passed Fulton, small town next to Rockport. I was born and raised in Rockport, quite aware of the town. I am a senior and not comfortable driving at night, my visit was for a family funeral and thought the hotel was near the funeral home or central of Rockport. I made the mistake of reserving a motel, only stay at hotels due to my age and visiting solo. When I made the reservations I was upset and busy.

We had a little trouble seeing this place from the road as they are actually set behind an RV park. The hotel is quiet and comfortable. The staff is friendly. They have their own pier which we walked out on the next morning. We would definitely stay here again.

I really like the location. It's on the Aransas Bay with it's own pier. It was a great place for bird watching and walking. It was convenient to great dining and Historical explorations. The beds were comfy and the room spacious.

The location and price was perfect for an end of Summer fishing trip with my family. Free breakfast is always a plus before going to their private pier to fish. The pool was clean and had bbq pits for cooking and enjoying some family time. We will be coming back.

Needs TLC, lots of dings and damage. Breakfast was pretty bad... Lots of families, pool looked nice. Fishing pier was just ok (rickety and old). Good value for price. Shower was good.

Nice location nice staff but our refrigerator was not working and due to that our food spoiled and breakfast was not good kept running out of stuff and the quality was not there.

The staff was super helpful and kind. Five stars! The property has great access to a beautiful long dock, which was really nice. The room was simple and clean, but the area outside the rooms could use a sweep. There were too many cigarette butts, and the property could use a fresh coat of paint. The entry to the property was a bit sketchy, honestly. It is also an RV park, no judgment, but I am a solo traveler and wasn't sure I'd made the right decision to stay the night there. Unfortunately, there was no coffee in the morning, as they had run out of beans.

Always a great stay at the Quality Inn in Rockport/Fulton! The rooms are clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The pool is perfect for cooling off during the hot Texas weather, and the fishing in the area is always outstanding. We look forward to coming back every time. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing coastal getaway!

We got to the location early and asked the front desk clerk if we could get in early. She said no which we understood. My husband then asked if we could grab some ice, but the front desk clerk said it was for the customers. We didn't understand when she knew we would be customers at 4:00pm check in time. My husband requested a floor room and again she said no and that it was all full. When we returned at check in time, the other front desk clerk assisted us and even gave us a floor room. When we did enter the room, there were used towels hanging on the restroom door and only 1 roll of toilet paper. We had to go and ask for toilet paper and we simply threw the dirty towels on the floor. Overall, we don't experience bad customer service but the you g front desk clerk wasn't helpful. I don't know what her name was but we avoided her during our stay. The room could have been handled better. That’s gross finding old towels hanging. Breakfast was good and other staff was very nice to us.
