Very nice ambience, great range of snacks, complimentary bottle of wine, good breakfast options. Doona a bit too warm so light blanket as an alternative would be good. Fridge badly needed defrosting so iceblocks could be made and fire extinguisher (EOM not obvious) may need maintenance. Suggest installation of fire blanket.

Rose Cottage had a small fridge but it was generously stocked for breakfast items for the 6 nights of our stay. Location is good. There was pet hair and pet odour on the sofa which we cleaned. The pillow protectors and pillows were stained and not very comfortable. Spa was good. Television was very small and not all channels could be received due to its age. An extra towel rail in the bathroom would have been handy given extra towels used for the spa and for swimming nearby. Rose Cottage would be better suited for a 1-2 night stay as opposed to the 6 nights we spent. For a longer stay perhaps one of the other cottages would be better suited. Nevertheless, we had a relaxing time in the area and generally enjoyed our stay.
