On arrival at Motel and during the booking in we were informed that there was a $50 key deposit. When asked if we would get this back on returning the key the next morning, we got the answer that the person who takes care of the refunds does not get in until the afternoon. On checking my account, I saw that this amount had been debited and was not made available until two days later. No mention of key deposit made any where? On arriving in the room and making a cup of coffee found that two of the six milk capsules there had pasted their use by date by around six months, also the table in the room was not stable due to the center column being loose in the base. The car parking space available to us could not be fully entered due to the overhanging shrubbery which would have scratched the car and also make exiting the car very difficult for me.

Check in was easy, air-conditioning unit noisy, reported told nothing could be done about it. Microwave in room looked new but turntable would not rotate, was told this item would be changed this did not happen. Need to ask for plates & cutlery, not given any washing up liquid or tea towels.. Laundry room is locked from 8 pm, the signage was hidden on the open door only 1 washing machine & tumble dryer for the publics use. I needed to dry my clothes prior to leaving on an early start the next day( i had hand washed these prior to seeing signage) the receptionist refused to allow me to use the machine as it would go past her home time, i said i was happy to lock up & return the key.this was refused. The pictures on the site do not represent the accommodation accurately at all.

Unfortunately our air conditioning was broken on a very hot night. We checked in just before after hours. There is no after hours service to get help, that we were aware of. We did not sleep well at all as it was so hot and no air flow. Admin Staff did not seem to care when I told them in the morning. There was also a light outside out of our door which shone brightly into the window that we were not able to turn off. The pool was also out of order, which was the main reason we chose to stay there. We won’t stay again.

The property is old and run down but the pool was great, the bed was very comfortable, it was very quiet and we feel we received value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would have been thrilled to have a Korean restaurant!

Staff were super helpful and friendly but exterior was dirty, smelt musty and nasty, linen baskets were left randomly creating hazards through the walkways to our room Room was very bare and unwelcoming, bathroom was mildewy with build up and scum covering the grout, base of the shower and in the corners of the bathroom and shower floor was also slippery with a slimy texture to it

NNever again will I stay at that motel. I made a reservation online, and when I arrived, the staff couldn’t find the booking under my name in their system. They asked if I had an email confirmation, which I showed them. To their surprise, it was not in their computer system. I asked them to call and verify the reservation, as I had already paid for it. After about 20 minutes, they located my reservation, and everything was resolved. Later in the evening, after returning from the hospital, I turned on the TV. The remote control was mismatched, so I couldn’t change the settings or turn on subtitles. I went to see the staff, but they said there was nothing they could do to help. The room smell mew but dusty. The bathroom light was dusty, the toilet cistern was not cleaned, and the shower drain was blocked. I believe the health department should investigate to ensure that each room is thoroughly cleaned and maintained for the safety and comfort of all guests. If the cleanliness cannot be guaranteed, the motel should be shut down permanently.

Arriving to find the door to the room wide open was a very uncomfortable start to.our visit. The toilet in room 16 is not properly secured to the floor. Lean to either side and the whole basin tips with you. A mouldy kettle left me disgusted and angry. To the desk staff's credit, they did replace the kettle as soon as i reported it. That day, i had the sign asking for the room to be cleaned hanging on the door. We put it up at 9am and we returned to the room 11pm. The room had not been entered, the sheets not changed and the bin not emptied. We had to use blankets as makeshift sheets. The assortment of pillows across the room was an issue. One was a foam neck support pillow with a sunken middle. Another was a memory foam that was twisted and out of shape. I don't understand why there is a toaster in the room but no plates or cutlery. In future, i will make an effort to find alternative budget accommodations as i found this place very disappointing.

The room was outdated, air conditioner worked but had no blades so the cold air was directly on us all night. There was a constant ’droning’ sound all night (air con I think) and the motel is on a major road into Adelaide so traffic noise pretty much all night. In the bathroom there was hand soap but shampoo or conditioner available. Sink was significantly crack and exhaust fan completely covered in dust. First day were we there, didnt have the ‘do not distrub’ sign on the door. Room service lady, knocked on door and said Housekeeping. We yelled out ‘hang on a minute’ as we had not long woken up / partner was getting dressed. The lady used the key to come in. I was sitting on the bed, having my breakfast and she came then emptied the bin before leaving, I was quite uncomfortable. Im a country person, I don't go to the capital cities that often. I don’t remember reading there was a room key deposit required. It would have helped to know that before arriving. Plus the room key deposit has not be refunded as yet and it is 1 1/2 days since we checked out yesterday morning. I dont think we would stay there next time in Adelaide.

NNever again will I stay at that motel. I made a reservation online, and when I arrived, the staff couldn’t find the booking under my name in their system. They asked if I had an email confirmation, which I showed them. To their surprise, it was not in their computer system. I asked them to call and verify the reservation, as I had already paid for it. After about 20 minutes, they located my reservation, and everything was resolved. Later in the evening, after returning from the hospital, I turned on the TV. The remote control was mismatched, so I couldn’t change the settings or turn on subtitles. I went to see the staff, but they said there was nothing they could do to help. The room smell mew but dusty. The bathroom light was dusty, the toilet cistern was not cleaned, and the shower drain was blocked. I believe the health department should investigate to ensure that each room is thoroughly cleaned and maintained for the safety and comfort of all guests. If the cleanliness cannot be guaranteed, the motel should be shut down permanently.

Initially I was both told and given a receipt stating my room was 214…. except I learned at 03:00, after looking for 2 hours, there is NO such room. It should have read Room 14. When I challenged the staff, they blamed their outdated computer system for the error. Yet I had spoken to staff both Saturday and Sunday and could have been told the correct room number. Very scary being literally left in the dark having to find safety for myself in a toilet block. Eventually I located the correct room at 05:00 with the help of a contractor. Totally numb and in survival mode. By Day 3 I got some sleep but traumatising…. and only apologies from the staff not Management. The staff were lovely, room comfortable and the park across the road gave me the peace to heal. Management need to be accountable for their inaccurate data given to clients, especially when they arrive after 9:30pm at night. The computer system needs to reflect accurately the correct room number so to prevent traumatising clients.

Just needed a place to sleep. Was great for this purpose. Staff very courteous, place was clean and felt safe. Not a new property... but doesnt need to be. Lock on door was a bit fiddly. And reception doesnt open until 9am. Layout was confusing when arriving after dark, sure it would seem simpler in daylight.

The check in was quick it’s convenient and you don’t have to drive into the city far to reach it and the same leaving very close to the start of the freeway it’s a budget motel and has a bit of age but it is comfortable and affordable

My room was clean and tidy, if needing a bit of updating. The door didn't have a chain lock and banged all night due to the high winds. Everything worked, and the location was very good. On a busy road, but still nice and quiet. Close to everything.

Jacksons Motor Inn was a good budget option for a short stay. Right on the fringe of the city as you drive in. Rooms were basic but fine. Everything in the room worked, the beds were comfortable, shower was hot and the price was keen. Very easy short drive to the CBD.

Check in was easy, air-conditioning unit noisy, reported told nothing could be done about it. Microwave in room looked new but turntable would not rotate, was told this item would be changed this did not happen. Need to ask for plates & cutlery, not given any washing up liquid or tea towels.. Laundry room is locked from 8 pm, the signage was hidden on the open door only 1 washing machine & tumble dryer for the publics use. I needed to dry my clothes prior to leaving on an early start the next day( i had hand washed these prior to seeing signage) the receptionist refused to allow me to use the machine as it would go past her home time, i said i was happy to lock up & return the key.this was refused. The pictures on the site do not represent the accommodation accurately at all.

Floor was uneven and dirty. There was holes in the bathroom door and walls & the sink was dirty. I had to lean on the main door when using the key to actually get into the room and once inside I had to slam and lean on the door once again to try lock it. There was no designated car park so I had to park in whatever park I could find & I actually felt uncomfortable about the security of my car with the amount of ‘permanent’ residence at the motel. I ordered a continental breakfast and I received two pieces of frozen bread, two muesli bars, a jelly, a Prima and a small milk. I am not sure what the milk was for - was I supposed to get a cereal too? $9 for frozen bread, 2 bars and a jelly - hmmm.

As a 3-star Motel it was adequate for our needs during our 5 night stay. We were able to catch a nearby bus direct to the Flinders Medical Centre where we visited my brother daily which was the purpose of the trip. The only thing I would have liked to see is a container of water in the fridge. The supply of toaster, kettle and microwave meant that we could have a simple breakfast before our early departure each day and light snack for dinner upon our return. It would be good to see parking spaces allocated/marked for each room as when we returned on our second last night (Saturday) with a hire car there were no parks outside our room so we had to park a little bit away making it difficult in the dark for my elderly mother.

I went there last night with my girlfriend to have a good night and spent 170 on their nicest one bedroom suite and they don't replace the blanket before we go there and when we take the dunor cover off it was stained green and when i went to get my deposit they said it was MY FAULT it was dirty and I wasnt having it I also booked a Uber which i missed because the lady was so rude and ignoring me on the phone to her cleaning team who couldn't tell her who cleaned the room last so I just grabbed my deposit from the desk and left when she went to check the room again definitely would not recommend horrible service and hospitality and overall a junkie looking place to stay
