Easy to find, staff are really good, rooms are modern and have some most useful kitchen facilities. Parking is good and the property is just across the road from the beach and walking and riding paths. Will be staying here again on my next visit.

The access to the parking is very restricted. Had I driven down in another of my vehicles, a large USA utility but still considered a 'car', I would not have been able to get my vehicle in. That information MUST be given at booking time. Furthermore, the quality control of the cleaning needs urgent attention. The shower had mould growing around the sealing along the bottom and under the bed was disgusting.

Very easy to navigate to and on to Church St, the beach, nice community feel. We had a technical issue on our first night but the Receptionist was very efficient and fixed the problem. The rest of our stay was very good indeed. Rooms are comfortable and clean and the onsite parking is very useful.

The only suggestion we had was that the underground parking should be secured the entire time and not just at night. The hotel might like to add Church Street and the Bistro next door to their list of recommended places to eat

Car parking was easy once you enter the under ground area. Wide entry exit points. Easy to find and walking distance to Church st shops, cafes cinema. Kitchenet and large room with separate bedroom bath, separate shower. Front desk only operates for 13 hours but did not present an issue. Excellent 4 star property for a longer stay.

The room was tiny and nothing like the image on the booking website. The bayside area was pleasant but there was nothing much by way of amenities in the area. The restaurants nearby were closed both times we wanted to eat there. Restaurants in Church Rd were very good but they were not close by. Parking at the hotel was a bit limited. Height bar was annoying. Our car aerial hit it every time we had to use the lower parking section. Cleaners did not lock our door properly when they exited the room allowing anyone to enter.

There is nothing more disgusting than arriving at a hotel only to discover you are staying in someone else's dirt. The filthy carpets in the hallways are just the beginning of the horror. The outside of the door to my room was covered in greasy dirty finger prints, I was almost afraid to touch the keypad and enter the code to open the door. Once inside the carpets clearly hadn't been vacuumed, the ceiling lights did not work and there were blackened chunks of food debris inside the toaster. The crockery had brown water marks. I returned to reception to complain and ask to be moved to another room. The desk was locked and the emergency housekeeping moblie number went unanswered. I left a message, but my call was not returned. I called the quest 1800 number who were also unable to contact management.

The room was clean but very warm especially over night, I think they must restrict the air conditioning then. The bathroom was terrible, the shower curtain was filthy, the first day I asked for a clean one but that was not that clean. I reported that the shower floor was dirty and slimey and very dangerous, the shower needed scrubbing and a non slip mat provided. There was mould around the sink hole and where the tap connected to the sink. The bathroom totally let the room down, would I stay there again, NO I WOULD NOT, there are a lot of places much cleaner to stay.

Your property obviously needs a lot of maintenance, for the price charged it was very average. TV did not work (which staff already knew about). Not a very clean place.

Tired hotel that needs a refresh. Room only serviced once in 4 day visit. Rubbish pile covered most the hallway when I arrived. A lot of stairs to carry suitcase up and down just to get up to room.

Website advertises as pet friendly but there is no toilet space available for a dog, very poor. The gardens are neglected & in need of a freshen-up. The lack of bench space in the disability room is disappointing, with a shelf on the floor for toiletries, tissues etc, not remotely disability friendly. The shower curtain was dirty. Wouldn't recommend.

I loved the room but the corridors could use some maintenance. There was also a large bag of rubbish and a smaller bag that sat next to the lift for 2 days which staff did not bother to move. However this was the only downside. The room was exceptionally clean and the staff were super friendly.

The queen bed was extremely uncomfortable- sagged badly in the middle which resulted in really poor sleep for both of us. Temperature control was possibly faulty- cycled between stuffy hot and then cold all night. Disappointed for the cost.

The little apartment we got was fine except it was right by the front driveway so there was a light on all night. Although there were some blinds in the room, they didn't fit well and were not black-out blinds so there was a consistent light streaming through. This hotel is handy for our family Christmas visit in Brighton but it is overpriced. The service was lacking in terms of being able to get housekeeping, but it was over Christmas so I'm sure it's better out of these holiday times

Property is conveniently located right opposite the beach and Yacht club and only a short drive to popular St Kilda. The building is dated and to access our room we had to follow a long and narrow corridor. Room was also a loft so had a flight of stairs as soon as you enter which made for difficulty lugging bags around. Overall OK but could do with a makeover and re-orientation of entry/exits.

The location is good, close to the beach and church street shops. Reception staffs were friendly although not all very efficient. However, the hotel facilities can be improved. The water temperature in shower was not stable. The mini fridge was just next to the bed and constantly making noise. There were also frequent noises from trains and traffic on the main road, which were particularly annoying in the night time. With all those noises I can’t really rest well in this place.

We stayed in the three bedroom apartment, which had three lovely bedrooms and was quite spacious, however some of the amenities were of poor condition. The dishwasher was quite old , the compartment for the powder/tablet was broken and the interior was badly damaged/dented. There were no tea towels , fortunately I had brought my own. The internet was very slow and kept dropping out so we needed to use our own devices. There was only one small tv in what was a very large space. Upon arrival there was no long life milk and only a very small amount of complimentary tea and coffee was available. The mattresses were all extremely firm and not comfortable to sleep on. The reception phone was not working properly and I left several voice messages but with no response.

Location is the only thing going for this place. Stayed in a Studio with kitchenette. It took 3 attempts to get the kitchenette stocked with the basics- ie 2 knives, forks, plates, glasses etc. Each day the housekeepers forgot something. Kingsize bed was very uncomfortable, very hard and the right side of the mattress was lumpy. The layout is poor, bathroom door very close to the left side of the bed. No black out drapes. A very basic room with nothing to make your stay feel welcoming or special. Car park recommended

There is nothing more disgusting than arriving at a hotel only to discover you are staying in someone else's dirt. The filthy carpets in the hallways are just the beginning of the horror. The outside of the door to my room was covered in greasy dirty finger prints, I was almost afraid to touch the keypad and enter the code to open the door. Once inside the carpets clearly hadn't been vacuumed, the ceiling lights did not work and there were blackened chunks of food debris inside the toaster. The crockery had brown water marks. I returned to reception to complain and ask to be moved to another room. The desk was locked and the emergency housekeeping moblie number went unanswered. I left a message, but my call was not returned. I called the quest 1800 number who were also unable to contact management.

Location Location Location! Cant beat it! Opposite Royal Yacht Club & The Baths Restaurant at Brighton. 13 min walk to Church Street where you can choose from numerous cafes & restaurants & cuisines. The room was extremely clean (very important to me) & Anthony at reception bent over backwards to help us in every way he could. BONUS: Price is very good too.

Overall, this is good accommodation in a pleasant area with easy access to the beach, local shops and restaurants/cafes. Only let down was having to wait 15 mins to check in as the desk was closed; calling the phone number displayed just resulted in going to voicemail which was full so couldn't leave a message anyway.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have been waiting for this hotel to process a refund for 2 weeks now. I have been palmed off and ghosted at EVERY ATTEMPT. This hotel is an example of how NOT to treat customers. I am shocked and ashamed that a business can treat their paying customers in such a way and get away with it. I have not been contacted ONCE since I was told that my case is being escalated to management, which shows that this company does not care for the individual. Do NOT book with this hotel.

Great location - loved that I could walk along the beach across the road. The check-in was ok and the new staff member was trying his best. Was promised free car parking in exchange for 5 star review - got charged car parking, told it would be refunded, not refunded. Had to ask for Wifi password, staff member didn't know and then forgot to come and tell us, had to go back to reception to ask for it. Tv only had 1 channel. Booked apartment to use cooking facilities - had to ask for forks and a frying pan. Only 1 normal coffee and about 10 decaf coffees, perfect for decaf drinkers but I am not! Beds were comfortable and location was perfect, its just those little things that were quite annoying. Had I got refund as promised for car parking, I probably would've let it go.

Very easy to navigate to and on to Church St, the beach, nice community feel. We had a technical issue on our first night but the Receptionist was very efficient and fixed the problem. The rest of our stay was very good indeed. Rooms are comfortable and clean and the onsite parking is very useful.

The location is good, close to the beach and church street shops. Reception staffs were friendly although not all very efficient. However, the hotel facilities can be improved. The water temperature in shower was not stable. The mini fridge was just next to the bed and constantly making noise. There were also frequent noises from trains and traffic on the main road, which were particularly annoying in the night time. With all those noises I can’t really rest well in this place.

Lovely and helpful staff but sadly dishwasher broken and fridge froze food. This was not great as planned more self catering. Twin beds not set up as requested. Good location close to beach.

overall a good place to stay although was there for work so couldn't take any advantage of the beautiful location. I was hoping to have access to fresh milk or at least a small carton of UHT milk. Unfortunately the milklette capsules they had in the fridge were off so I ended up with floaty bits of sour milk in my tea. Reception gave me some new ones but one of those was off too. The fridge also froze my bottle of water in the fridge section and the fresh milk I ended up buying in Coles even though it was set to fridge temperature. The room was very spacious and well set up with lots of powerpoints and a good bathroom layout. All in all a very good stay for work.

The property was spacious and clean. It seemed to be appointed as an accessible room with wide doorways and a shower chair (not necessary for us). It is great to have a kitchenette but the crockery, pots and even some glasses were in very high cupboards. A chair was required to access these items which is ridiculous and unsafe. Please build some new storage where crockery, etc can be stored at an accessible height to fit with the other accessible features of the unit,

The room was tiny and nothing like the image on the booking website. The bayside area was pleasant but there was nothing much by way of amenities in the area. The restaurants nearby were closed both times we wanted to eat there. Restaurants in Church Rd were very good but they were not close by. Parking at the hotel was a bit limited. Height bar was annoying. Our car aerial hit it every time we had to use the lower parking section. Cleaners did not lock our door properly when they exited the room allowing anyone to enter.

Location is the only thing going for this place. Stayed in a Studio with kitchenette. It took 3 attempts to get the kitchenette stocked with the basics- ie 2 knives, forks, plates, glasses etc. Each day the housekeepers forgot something. Kingsize bed was very uncomfortable, very hard and the right side of the mattress was lumpy. The layout is poor, bathroom door very close to the left side of the bed. No black out drapes. A very basic room with nothing to make your stay feel welcoming or special. Car park recommended

The location is fabulous - right across the road from the ocean. However, it appears that only the penthouse rooms get ocean views - the rest of the rooms are down the side of the hotel with no view. We had a steep set of stairs up into our room from the door of the room, which we were not aware of. Luckily the suitcases were not too heavy! Appreciated the on site parking but that is extra cost. Ate at the Brighton Baths restaurant and they offer a discount for people staying at the Quest.
