The room was clean, and daily room service was very good. Does not offer a pool, gym, and business area, but the rate indicates that. A great value for a place to use as a sleeping quarters, when all the extras of the big motels are not needed. Restaurants, shopping store, gasoline stations and convince store within walking distance. I will use this place on future visits.

For the price, this place can’t be beat. It is a bed, has heat, and running water, and the man who checked me in was pleasant. It is not new construction, and shows signs of wear. It has a WaWa and Smithville Village ( restaurant and shopping ) right down the road. I have stayed in better, but not for this price.

The hotel is very reasonable for the price compared to others. The man at the front desk is so nice, sorry i didn't get his name. I think the check in part is where he lives. The room is comfortable and nice. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Mini fridge and microwave. If needed i would stay here again.

This place is a great economical option if you want to visit historic Smithville, the wildlife refuge or take a 20 minute drive to AC. Walking distance to Smithville. They did not have an ice machine or hand towels but otherwise clean , friendly, and updated. Would stay again

Location is perfect for birders visiting Edwin B Forsythe NWR or folks heading to the Smithville shops. Room is large with microwave, fridge, coffeemaker and a table. With Wawa nearly across the street, that means you can have light meals in your room. Bed was comfortable. Wish there was a reading lamp on both sides of the bed. Carpet is worn but clean. I had to climb a flight of stairs to my room so if you are limited ask for a first floor room. Ashtrays on the outside windowsill was off putting.

Looked clean initially ,but just cleaned on the surface.There was a bunch of hair in &around the bathroom sink. The bathroom had a lot of hair on the floor.the room had a musty smell. On the upside the sheets were clean & the bed was comfortable.also the price was right.

Floor was uneven by ac unit - bathroom has no heat and cold. Room temp was difficult to maintain - I loved the very firm foam mattress but wife did not. Neither here nor there but I arrived early but was only allowed to secure room - couldn’t get key until after check in… get that - but could have still given us the key as we were on our way to smithville and it wasn’t that far from checkin

The room was clean and comfortable. The only issues I had with the room were, you could hear the people in the room above us walking around sometimes. Also, when we first entered the room, there was a strong pine oil scent that disappeared after a couple of hours. But overall, the 2 night stay was comfortable and I would stay there again if I am in the area!

Overall the hotel room was very good value for the price. The bed was extremely comfortable, the pillows were great, the sheets were clean and crisp. Nice large wall mounted tv. The cons were the walls were in need of painting/repair, one light fixture in the ceiling above the bed was broken. The bathroom was slightly dingy with dim lighting. The front door key card took multiple times to unlock the door, and the tv picture would freeze while the audio sound kept going. If you can overlook a few things, and only want a comfortable bed to sleep for budget price, this place is fine. 30 minutes drive from both LBI and AC.

Made this reservation by mistake, it was a bit out of the way for me. I immediately tried to switch to another motel, but management refused to make a waiver and held me to the reservation. I know it was “non-refundable”, but there was plenty of time before the date for the motel to get more bookings. Well, probably their issue is that not enough people book with them, because the place smells bad. The room was pretty clean, but there’s an odor of mold or mildew coming from somewhere. Structurally, the place isn’t great. Sound from neighboring units is very audible throughout the rooms. This place needs to be professionally inspected. One and done. Wont be going back there.

I have stayed at this motel several times previously. It is always a good, clean, convenient place to stay at a reasonable price. As a birder, this motel provides easy access to the Edwin B. Forsythe NWR. Also, it is close to Barnegat Lighthouse State Park and Stone Harbor Point which are other great birding hotspots.

This is a motel very close to Smithville village. It is clean and comfortable, but shabby in places (peeling/discolored paint). A coffeemaker is provided with complimentary packets of cream, sugar and fake sugar - but no coffee). Fortunately, there is a WaWa very close by. The price is reasonable.

The hotel was clean, the owners were very nice and friendly and it was close to everything that we planned to do. This hotel is a hidden gem and everyone should know about it. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Location is perfect for birders visiting Edwin B Forsythe NWR or folks heading to the Smithville shops. Room is large with microwave, fridge, coffeemaker and a table. With Wawa nearly across the street, that means you can have light meals in your room. Bed was comfortable. Wish there was a reading lamp on both sides of the bed. Carpet is worn but clean. I had to climb a flight of stairs to my room so if you are limited ask for a first floor room. Ashtrays on the outside windowsill was off putting.

The room was clean, and daily room service was very good. Does not offer a pool, gym, and business area, but the rate indicates that. A great value for a place to use as a sleeping quarters, when all the extras of the big motels are not needed. Restaurants, shopping store, gasoline stations and convince store within walking distance. I will use this place on future visits.

Very clean and peaceful. Village for dining close by. Easy access to local roads to go to Atlantic City, Cape May and other shore towns. Relatively inexpensive compared to other options.

This is a motel very close to Smithville village. It is clean and comfortable, but shabby in places (peeling/discolored paint). A coffeemaker is provided with complimentary packets of cream, sugar and fake sugar - but no coffee). Fortunately, there is a WaWa very close by. The price is reasonable.

For the price, this place can’t be beat. It is a bed, has heat, and running water, and the man who checked me in was pleasant. It is not new construction, and shows signs of wear. It has a WaWa and Smithville Village ( restaurant and shopping ) right down the road. I have stayed in better, but not for this price.

The hotel was clean, the owners were very nice and friendly and it was close to everything that we planned to do. This hotel is a hidden gem and everyone should know about it. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Stayed for 1 evening and the room was clean, comfortable and perfect for what I needed. The bed was cozy and the AC worked great. Overall I was very pleased

It was a good stay - the management was very friendly and provided assistance when needed. This is our 3 rf year staying here and will come back. The property is in need of repairs, I think it was update about 3 years ago. If you’re looking for a fast stay, don’t be afraid to stay here. There are a lot of amenities within the area - stores gas and coffee Pharmacy also all within 1 mile

There was parking. The room was clean and smelled good upon entry. The beds were a little firmer than expected. Although the air conditioner was on and blowing cold air, the room was still not as cool. Overall, for a place to lay our head, I would not mind returning.

TERRIBLE!! AC unit OLD, not working properly, there was a heatwave which made things even worse! Felt suffocated in room bc of heatwave, but worst is NO AC, AC unit barely worked. Felt bugs crawl on us as well. Room also has foundation issues near bathroom, place is outdated! Overpriced as well paid $403 for 2 nights, holiday weekend prices jacked up. Basic necessarities needed..if AC worked properly it would have passed even if issues with flooring and outdated, but payed so much and couldn't sleep there. Had to stay in car most of time be able to survive. Never staying here again!!! Also NO ICE machine!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION! Better off sleeping in car!!staying here again!!! Also NO ICE machine!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION! Better off sleeping in car. This place should be reported to State for not providing basic needs like AC. In NJ 29 people died of heat related issues that weekend..thank goodness we kept going in car to cool off.
