I spent 10 days with my wife in this hotel, very large, carved into the rock, beautiful. A hundred meters away from the beautiful public and equipped beach, (the hotel provides towels) easily reachable on foot. Large room with balcony and sea view, modern furnishings. Two swimming pools and in addition a wellness room with a hydromassage tub, sauna and very well-equipped gym available free of charge. Excellent breakfast, good dinner with truly kind and welcoming staff.

A reasonable 4 star property. Showing its age in areas though I personally found the food offer to be good. However cocktails were rubbish Entertainment was rubbish. It's left to two people who are truly lovely but they get no support from the hotel. Evening entertainment has a budget of €0 as it's someone singing to a laptop backing track so you'll be bored The pools are nice though as are the rest of the hotel staff which is probably the saving grace

The location is great, right on Playa Amadores. The room was quite spacious, however, there were tiny bugs in the room and another larger, unidentified bug. Staff was helpful but not overly friendly like other places I've stayed. The restaurants were acceptable and plenty of food at the buffet. The pools were sizeable and the infinity pool overlooking the ocean makes for great pictures. Parking wasnt great, tiny spots on a very steep ramp. I can imagine it being very challenging for folks with mobility issues. Overall, satisfied and a memorable stay.

Tolles Hotel mit Spa. Zimmer sehr schön und sauber mit tollem Blick auf die Bucht. 2 Salzwasser Pools außen, 1 innen, viele Liegen und Sonnenschirme. Frühstück -> tolle Auswahl, auch Gluten und Lactose freie Produkte. Abendessen ist ebenfalls Buffet und auch eine tolle Auswahl..Das Spa ist auch empfehlenswert, tolle Massage dort bekommen.Es war unser 2. Aufenthalt, wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Nice hotel, pretty large and up on a hill so a bit of a steep walk down to the beach/shops. Did take me a while to figure out that QR codes were on some of the tables which enabled you to look at menu/drinks menu - that would've been nice to have either been informed at reception or to have in a welcome in the room. There was no welcome pack nor any kind of digital info in the room. There was a TV outside the main restaurant which showed events that were happening each day - there was a QR code on the screen but I could not get it to work on my phone. Room was nice and spacious with air con and a balcony view of the sea. We were all inclusive and so ate at the main restaurant for majority of our meals. We also ate lunch a couple of times at the pool bar. The pool was really nice, lot of loungers and there was a very enthusiastic staff member who was at the pool most days doing either some exercise classes/games in the pool or drinks making/tasting The spa was nice with a sauna/steam room and pool with various jets Breakfast was always very nice with a vast selection of hot/cold items, fruits, meats, cheeses, juices and fizz Dinner was themed each night and was a good selection of food and desserts - shame you couldn't get any cocktails or spirits in the main restaurant as I do not drink wine or beer. There wasn't any information available regarding the surrounding area - but we walked along the coast both ways and the walk was not far to reach the next town Peurto Rico

Die Zimmer haben eine sehr schöne Größe und der Balkon ist ebenfalls sehr schön. Die beiden Pools haben uns sehr gut gefallen und die Poolbars ebenfalls. Allerdings sollte man etwas gegen die Liegenreservierer unternehmen, einige Liegen waren schon um 09:00 Uhr mit Handtüchern reserviert worden. Beim Buffet gab es eine sehr schöne Auswahl und es hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Leider können sich einige Leute nicht an die hygienischen Regeln am Buffet halten. Manche Cocktails wurden frisch zubereitet und einige Cocktails kamen aus einer Maschine. Bei den alkoholischen Getränken waren viele gute Markenprodukte vertreten.

Best choice of breakfast I’ve had in a hotel. Lots of fresh fruit and juices. Sunbathing by the infinity pool was lovely and the children’s pool was next to it. Bingo and other activities in the afternoon round the pool. There is another quieter area to sunbathe if you want complete peace.

Fint hotel med känsla av lyx. Utsikten över Amadores stranden är utmärkt! Rummet var stort, med fina sängar, stora balkongen och väldigt fint badrummet. Jättebra städning varje dag med fräscha handdukar och sängkläder. Pool område var också väldigt fint och det fanns några, olika alternativ att välja på. Maten var gott både på buffé samt vid pol område. Stort plus för laktosfri/havre mjölk. Mindre bra var att inte alla servitörer kunde engelska vilket skaffade missförstånd flera gånger som till exempel för högt summa på notan. Några av personalen var otroligt snälla med positiv energi, men de flesta (framför allt på hotellets buffé) saknade den känsla av glädje. Det kändes ibland att den här jobbet är som ett straff för dem. Området är allmänt väldigt lugnt och tyst. Helt död på kvällarna. Om man vill festa och röra sig lite på kvällarna så bättre alternativ blir Puerto Rico några kilometer från hotellet. Man kan ta taxi eller ta en promenad med ett fantastisk utsikt mot ocean och solnedgång. Hotellet ger känsla av lyx och jag tror att det är en av de bästa hotellet i Gran Canaria. Rekommenderar starkt!

Love this hotel and our second stay, third time in a Gloria hotel. As it was our second stay, reception upgraded our room without us even asking. It suits our holiday needs well and much quieter than the first Gloria hotel we stayed in. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We stayed on half board, there is so much choice, dishes replenished quickly and very little queuing. We love the spa and use it daily. We never watch the entertainment, so can’t comment but the activities around the pool always look fun. The only thing that could do with updating for us is the TV, as they are not smart TVs but this doesn’t affect our stay and we are planning our return already.

Wir waren zum dritten Mal da und es war bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal. Wir haben immer Halbpension und sind damit sehr zufrieden. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, viel Platz und der Balkon bietet von jedem Zimmer Meerblick. Das Personal ist super freundlich, die Reinigungskräfte machen einen super Job und das Essen ist echt lecker. Jeden Tag hat das Abendbuffet ein anderes Thema: kanarisch, international, mexikanisch, Fisch und Meeresfrüchte, ....

Great hotel. Lovely staff. Impressive property. Absolutely fabulous swimming pool. 1.55 meters deep, about 50 meters long and on the widest side about 15 meters wide. Also smaller pool for toddlers. Food is great. Airco in the room is the best we've ever experienced. Great location. You won't regret going here.

Love this hotel and our second stay, third time in a Gloria hotel. As it was our second stay, reception upgraded our room without us even asking. It suits our holiday needs well and much quieter than the first Gloria hotel we stayed in. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We stayed on half board, there is so much choice, dishes replenished quickly and very little queuing. We love the spa and use it daily. We never watch the entertainment, so can’t comment but the activities around the pool always look fun. The only thing that could do with updating for us is the TV, as they are not smart TVs but this doesn’t affect our stay and we are planning our return already.

Fantastisk opphold. Når vi kom til Gran Canaria hadde vi et annet hotell som var helt forferdelig og vi måtte finne et nytt hotell på dagen. Når vi da ankom Gloria møtte vi Eileen i resepsjonen, som ga fantastisk service og et oppgradert rom. Anbefaler alle å bo på dette hotellet.

I booked this hotel because it had an exceptional rating. It was not wrong; everything was just superb. The staff are friendly and can’t help enough. The food in the buffet restaurant is fantastic - the best I have ever had at an all inclusive resort. My room was spacious and spotlessly clean. I cannot fault my stay at all. Book this hotel, you won’t be disappointed.

This was our seventh visit to this hotel and always feels like coming home. A relaxed holiday in wonderful surroundings. I had emailed requesting a certain room, which we had, so that was very much appreciated. Our room was cleaned daily to a high standard. A recent renovation of the restaurant makes this a lovely place to eat and relax. Food is varied, do miss the morning coffee service but thats a personal view. Jordi, one of the managers is fantastic and attentive. It's lovely that he recognises us each year and will spend time with you. It is a shame that despite this being our seventh visit, it was not recognised at reception when checking in. The receptionist asked us if we had ever been before and was surprised that we had! It wont stop us visiting next year, but would make the checking in experience more personal. The amadores area is lovely, quiet at this time of year as expected but you can take a short walk to Puerto Rico for more bars and restaurants. A lovely break for us and have already booked our eighth visit in June next year.

Excellent location with beautiful views of the Amadores beach from our room. The beach is is just a short walk away. Good options for food along the promenade if opting for half board. The inclusive buffet have a good spread and different options every day. Interesting to watch British / American programmes in Spanish on TV. Helpful staff. Shout out to Roberto at reception.

The location is great, right on Playa Amadores. The room was quite spacious, however, there were tiny bugs in the room and another larger, unidentified bug. Staff was helpful but not overly friendly like other places I've stayed. The restaurants were acceptable and plenty of food at the buffet. The pools were sizeable and the infinity pool overlooking the ocean makes for great pictures. Parking wasnt great, tiny spots on a very steep ramp. I can imagine it being very challenging for folks with mobility issues. Overall, satisfied and a memorable stay.

Utnyttjade inte gym men det var stort och modernt. Vill du ha aktiviteter så ordnas bingo, aquazumba och spinning vid poolen. Underhållning av varierande kvalitet på kvällarna. Annars ligger stranden precis nedanför liksom busshållplatsen.

Fint hotel med känsla av lyx. Utsikten över Amadores stranden är utmärkt! Rummet var stort, med fina sängar, stora balkongen och väldigt fint badrummet. Jättebra städning varje dag med fräscha handdukar och sängkläder. Pool område var också väldigt fint och det fanns några, olika alternativ att välja på. Maten var gott både på buffé samt vid pol område. Stort plus för laktosfri/havre mjölk. Mindre bra var att inte alla servitörer kunde engelska vilket skaffade missförstånd flera gånger som till exempel för högt summa på notan. Några av personalen var otroligt snälla med positiv energi, men de flesta (framför allt på hotellets buffé) saknade den känsla av glädje. Det kändes ibland att den här jobbet är som ett straff för dem. Området är allmänt väldigt lugnt och tyst. Helt död på kvällarna. Om man vill festa och röra sig lite på kvällarna så bättre alternativ blir Puerto Rico några kilometer från hotellet. Man kan ta taxi eller ta en promenad med ett fantastisk utsikt mot ocean och solnedgång. Hotellet ger känsla av lyx och jag tror att det är en av de bästa hotellet i Gran Canaria. Rekommenderar starkt!

I spent 10 days with my wife in this hotel, very large, carved into the rock, beautiful. A hundred meters away from the beautiful public and equipped beach, (the hotel provides towels) easily reachable on foot. Large room with balcony and sea view, modern furnishings. Two swimming pools and in addition a wellness room with a hydromassage tub, sauna and very well-equipped gym available free of charge. Excellent breakfast, good dinner with truly kind and welcoming staff.

A reasonable 4 star property. Showing its age in areas though I personally found the food offer to be good. However cocktails were rubbish Entertainment was rubbish. It's left to two people who are truly lovely but they get no support from the hotel. Evening entertainment has a budget of €0 as it's someone singing to a laptop backing track so you'll be bored The pools are nice though as are the rest of the hotel staff which is probably the saving grace

Best choice of breakfast I’ve had in a hotel. Lots of fresh fruit and juices. Sunbathing by the infinity pool was lovely and the children’s pool was next to it. Bingo and other activities in the afternoon round the pool. There is another quieter area to sunbathe if you want complete peace.

Wir waren zum dritten Mal da und es war bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal. Wir haben immer Halbpension und sind damit sehr zufrieden. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, viel Platz und der Balkon bietet von jedem Zimmer Meerblick. Das Personal ist super freundlich, die Reinigungskräfte machen einen super Job und das Essen ist echt lecker. Jeden Tag hat das Abendbuffet ein anderes Thema: kanarisch, international, mexikanisch, Fisch und Meeresfrüchte, ....

Overall, a good resort. Our room had dirty cups left in it following cleaning on two occasions, despite tipping the maid well each day. Fewer staff around to assist at the pool and pool bar. Verry nice views and close to the beach...about a 300 meter walk.
