Lovely stay, room has a full fridge along with some cutlery and crockery, was nice and clean and staff were great. Our room had a nice balcony overlooking the river, was quite serene. Could get loud if you had noisy neighbouring rooms, but we were mostly fine.

Great lodge and the front desk staff (kerry) was quite welcoming and helpful. We had a river front room which was a plus to our stay as the view from the balcony was quite scenic amongst other things.

The Motel was very clean, had all needs for short stay, breakfast included. Rooms and decor were modern, neat and very comfortable. Had queen bed and mini bar at very reasonable prices. The perfect stop after a long drive, was well worth a little detour off the highway. definitely making this a regular stop on our trips to and from the Sunshine Coast.

Staff were very lovely, the property had mould in the bathroom ,the ceiling fan was well overdue for a clean too, bathroom cupboard had obvious water damage as well as some small holes in the walls and door which could’ve been an easy fix, and the pool was very murky so we didn’t swim in it. Despite these things the property and surrounds were tidy, lawns mowed, staff were very friendly and we were offered a continental breakfast too which we as lovely. Overall you get what you pay for.

We booked a last minute River View room...unfortunately there would be a view if the trees had been maintained. Room very basic but clean sheets & towels and comfortable bed. Shower good. Kitchen area had microwave, kettle & toaster and a very large fridge freezer. Cutlery & plates etc all mixed match. Booked a non-refundable room that Hotels.com clearly stated was available. When arrived, advised there was no room available. Bob, the proprietor was great. The issue was with the booking app. Another guest had booked the last room with another app literally 5 minutes before I booked and paid. The app did not update as it should have. Luckily Bob had a room that had not been cleaned due to a late afternoon check-out. He offered to either clean it or contact another property on our behalf and give us a credit towards another hotel. We were very impressed with Bob's attitude and were very happy to wait so he retained the business. The motel is somewhat old but kept in good nick. Bob is a great host. We will certainly stay there again when next in the region.

A very affordable accommodation for the area. The owners were very accommodating and even supplied my son with a fishing rod and bait that made his day with trying to fish in the river. Small town feel and hospitality.

The Motel was very clean, had all needs for short stay, breakfast included. Rooms and decor were modern, neat and very comfortable. Had queen bed and mini bar at very reasonable prices. The perfect stop after a long drive, was well worth a little detour off the highway. definitely making this a regular stop on our trips to and from the Sunshine Coast.

Staff were very lovely, the property had mould in the bathroom ,the ceiling fan was well overdue for a clean too, bathroom cupboard had obvious water damage as well as some small holes in the walls and door which could’ve been an easy fix, and the pool was very murky so we didn’t swim in it. Despite these things the property and surrounds were tidy, lawns mowed, staff were very friendly and we were offered a continental breakfast too which we as lovely. Overall you get what you pay for.

We booked a last minute River View room...unfortunately there would be a view if the trees had been maintained. Room very basic but clean sheets & towels and comfortable bed. Shower good. Kitchen area had microwave, kettle & toaster and a very large fridge freezer. Cutlery & plates etc all mixed match. Peaceful lication but it seems everywhere clises on a Monday so had to drive to find a restaurant.

The charges on the bottles of water in the fridge,that are complimentary at other motels I've stayed at!! The cost nightly was too much & no tiolettries available only little bars of soap. I needed more options for breakfast but had very little variety too.

Stay here was great and all we needed. Nothing flash, but rooms were fine for 3 adults. Location is perfect if you want somewhere quiet with scenery. Murwillimbah was less than 10min drive away, and there was a takeaway and bottle store next door. Check in was smooth, but def worth ringing after you book, especially if you have pets as not all the info you include in the booking passes thru to to the Motel :-(. Continental brekkie from 7-8am is a bonus. About 20mins to Tweed City Mall and 25mins from GC Airport so location wise all good if you dont want the hustle of lots of people.

Pet friendly. Manager was surprised that I wasn't aware of informing him I had a pet. He suggested I didn't follow through on my booking but I didn't see any such request. All sorted in the end.
