Beautiful stone built cottage in rural setting, 20 minutes by train to Edinburgh

Very well equipped and comfortable cottage. Good communication and welcome.

Lovely property and excellent location. We joked about how everything was no more than 15 minutes away! Cottage was perfect for us. Rooms are large and not cramped. Wrong time of year to enjoy the garden but it was lovely to look out on. We didnt need the log burner as the central heating made the cottage very cosy.

Really lovely stay which we all thoroughly enioyed. Such a peaceful cottage with everything you could need and more. Kids loved the games in the cupboard and all the trinkets round the house. Excellent location for exploring the area too. Really recommend

Middle cottage is excellent - welcoming, comfortable, warm, and very well and comprehensively furnished. It has everything we needed and more, and Jan provided many basic provisions and treats. We very much enjoyed our stay, and it made an excellent base for exploring the Borders as well as East Lothian.

Cottage is big enough for four adults, fine hard shower and even more important: great service! Couches a bit old and low/soft for people with backackes.. Beds are fine, although the springs make noise 😉 Probably also formerly owned. But overall a very pleasant stay!!! Cottage was clean ( cooking ehm fan/exhoust overlooked by cleaner probably) overall. Thick walls so perfect temperature and almost no pesty insects…
