A bit confusing to find at first as check in and lobby are are the bottom of parking garage. Good location to downtown El Paso and walkable to most areas. Parking is a bit tight in parking garage with low roof.

The hotel is very nice the lobby is nice rooms are clean BUT only one elevator was working and it was a nightmare. Also the parking garage horrible! The spaces are so small marked for three but fitting three is a very very very tight squeeze where you can’t even open doors. Parking stops at 5th level if there were more levels the nightmare might not exist. Damaged my car so bad.

The parking garage requires your key after paying a 20 dollar parking fee in order to exit the garage. The ket scanner did not work a single time, meaning I had to press the help button to ring the front desk. As soon as it rang they opened the gate, without asking a room number or any type of confirmation that I had paid for overnight parking. Meaning that most guests could choose to lie say they dont want overnight parking, not pay the charge and still have the same access I paid for.

Hotel needs renovation. Staff was cordial. Questionably safe outside the hotel. Elevator has direct access to the parking garage on the lower levels. No room key authorization to access the guest sleeping levels above. Fitness center is small and vey hot. Restaurant was OK, easy prep dishes, limited offering, and over priced. Locked my keycard in the room, cleaning staff gave me access without demonstrating I was the registered guest.

My room was behind the elevators, very noisy. One elevator was down the entire visit. A second elevator went down Saturday night. A guest was stuck in it for a while. Only one elevator cost me 2 hours of my evening. Overall a very poor experience.

The property was not clean. Carpet was dirty, by the door and by the fridge. The drapes were torn. The door to the pool was broken. The tv didn’t work. The tech was called then it was fixed then we left the room came back and the volume didn’t work again. I left a towel and called them left my number and they never called me to say they found it or didn’t. The frames in the room had been broken one had a glass frame and other was without a glass.

Our hotel room had dirty carpet. There was stains all over it. The beds were not me correctly And the coffee maker still had coffee in it from the person before us really disgusting the tub that’s a different story really high to get in and out of. This was my first time staying here and this will be my last do not look forward to returning. There is no phones in the rooms to call for Front Desk and when you do call for Front Desk the answer with such attitude like it’s inconvenience for us to be calling them the elevators were down and we’re not able to use the elevators to get to the parking garage. You would have to use the stairs, so good luck with your luggage.

We had several issues being locked out constantly of our room since the lock on our door was poorly maintained and malfunctioning. Everytime we went to our room on the 13th floor we would have to go back to the lobby to get our key recoded. The room was dirty with stains on the carpet, the bathroom floor, there was mold above the sink and on the lamps were covered in dust. We tried to go to the pool, but the pool was extremely cold, very dirty and had several towels and other debris floating in it and on the bottom. It is not a good place to bring kids who want to swim and not safe to swim in that water.

Great location with a lot to do nearby in walking distance. Clean. The bed was so soft and comfortable. People at front desk were very nice, efficient, and helpful. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent. Our only complaint is that our room had no refrigerator and the carpet had some stains. But, we will definitely stay there again if ever in the area.

We had trouble with the A/C both nights. Property seem old and run down. Was placed in a room directly next to elevator which was incredibly loud....you could hear the actual operation of the elevator going up and down each time it went to or passed our floor. Tried to switch, however was told there were no other available rooms. Paid WAY too much to have such a disappointing experience.

I liked the friendly employees. The room is very nice and clean. What i didn’t like was that there is no fridge or microwave. No complimentary breakfast either. No free WiFi. The parking lot is very crowded and there’s a lot of junk on the upper two sections. It even looks dangerous. The location is very good, close to a lot of restaurants. The view was very nice too

The staff were very nice and professional but the room wasn't the best. The carpets were dirty, the bathroom floor was sticky and we could hear everything through the walls. It was loud every time someone in the room above us flushed the toilet. The AC was rattling loudly and woke me up several times throughout the night. I barely woke up in time for checkout due to how loud it was at night. I was hoping for a relaxing night away but it was far from that unfortunately.

Carlos your Friday night front desk clerk and your maintenance weekend service gentleman were the best. They did everything to make us and our grandkids trip the best. Staff like both of them are hard to find and give a wonderful impression of your hotel. These two went out of there way to find a little dessert for our grandkids we couldn't thank them enough. Staff like both of them will have us coming back

I would like a refund for my stay because the front desk clerk never checked me in because she said that their system was down. She refused to give me a room although I showed her my reservation online. I treated her by her and I expect a full refund, I did complain to the manager the next day took my phone number and said they would call me back and they never did

The desk clerk was rude. Kept looking at my ID. I am 63 years old and a retired math college professor. I was not offered a water or collie and when she was finished she just looked at me and said. ‘We are done’. I have stayed here many times and never treated like this. She placed me in a room next to the elevator. Noises were loud and I did not sleep well. Will rethink before I ever stay again. And charged my credit card $50 for what??? I had to ask to have that removed.

She placed me in a room next to the elevator. Noises were loud and I did not sleep well. Will rethink before I ever stay again. And charged my credit card $50 for what??? I had to ask to have that removed.

For no apparent reason, we, and every other first trying to check in, had to wait over 2 hours to check in. We were all sent to the bar area to wait our turn to be called to check in. No explanation, no timeline given. No cookies, at all which is doubletrees gimmick. The room was sub par, old and decrepit looking. TV didn’t have signal For any channels, bathtub and sink were stained and discolored. Toilet paper roll was less than half left, no box of tissue, and no extra roll of tp. We had to hunt down the maid. Lobby was about 90° every time we went to ask for help. Parking was ridiculous clearly can’t accommodate a full house. We would not stay there again!

A bit confusing to find at first as check in and lobby are are the bottom of parking garage. Good location to downtown El Paso and walkable to most areas. Parking is a bit tight in parking garage with low roof.

Very convenient location for visiting downtown El Paso. In and out privileges in the parking lot, very close to the baseball park (walkable). We also appreciated that Doubletree has vegan chocolate chip cookies, so if you're vegan make sure you ask for the vegan option. Also enjoyed spending time on the poolside terrace in the evening and hearing sounds from the ballpark nearby.

The Doubletree is a convenient, downtown El Paso hotel. It is near the Amtrak train station (half mile), and it offers a shuttle to the airport which is about ten miles away. The Greyhound cross-country bus station is within walking distance as well as the city bus station. Staff were pleasant and quite accommodating.

IMPORTANT! Parking is available but is NOT FREE for guests of the hotel. Its an additional 20usd per night. The buffet is also no longer offered. Just a few minor details to be aware of when booking. I was ok with the price before hand but not so much after the fact. I had no issues with the room and service itself.

Our stay at DoubleTree was excellent in all ways. The staff was very friendly and most helpful. We’d like to especially thank Juan the Assistant General Manager. A very wonderful man. However, dining at the restaurant was a sad experience. We do not recommend having dinner there. We ordered the chicken parmigiana with ravioli. The ravioli was a dismal, hard, disc as was the chicken. The lobster bisque was good and we should have stopped there. Staff was very nice and accommodating. The menu was limited as was the wine selection. It was a huge disappointment considering the price.

Check-in was great. The ac wasnt working. We even set it to 65 degrees, but the thermostat read 72-74 degrees the entire stay. We woke up at 3a and decided to check out with out 3yo son b/c we were uncomfortable. At check-out, staff did not acknowledge my comments about a/c. No discount of current stay or anything for a future stay offered for inconvenience of warm room or having to wake my 3yo son up at 4a to check out.

Staff did a great job. Pool was nice n chilly.. only problem I seen at the bar, ran out of Michelle ultra beer. ( ran out) other than that the bar had some nice soothing music. The elevators were confusing to get to the parking deck. Other than that . It was clean, cool rooms.. good job to everyone there
