It was great. Enjoyed convenience of underground parking, luggage carts etc. Great on-site restaurant. Great price. Two large hot tubs although one was closed.

We returned here after 12 years. Still nice! Love having a kitchen ti cook in. Had everything you need except a pitcher. Pans could be newer but other than that it was nice. Loved the private covered patio/balconies...we could sit outside and enjoy the mountain view even while it rained. Gorgeous view! Beds were comfy. The steam room was out of order sadly, but the hot tubs outside are really nice. Underground parking is a bonus too. Loved our stay in beautiful Canmore.

The sheets on the bed were old, thin, pilling and ripped, falling off the bed and not comfortable at all. I asked for new sheets and they were very nice to provide them, they were better than the first set but still not good. Definitely not hotel quality bedding. Furniture in rooms was tired and worn looking, the mattress needed to be replaced, it was saggy and stained badly.The area rug was filthy, and under the sofa looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a very long time. The location was perfect with an amazing mountain view.

It was very dirty and didn't look clean. The stand alone air conditioner was duct taped and the room was incredibly hot. We usually go every year and am very sad to see these huge changes in their standards of quality.

Amazing view of the mountains and the our nicely laid out room is complete with everything we needed for our stay, location is great and just 20 minutes away from downtown Banff. Cleaners may have missed dusting the wooden ledges and carpet needs deep cleaning but still a great place to stay...

We stayed at the Silver Creek Lodge for 4 days and 3 nights. The room itself was clean. For paying approx $350 per night, we would have liked to have our room cleaned and the garbage/recycling emptied at least once during the stay but were told that was not an option.

Welcoming and helpful front desk staff, thank you for helping with a pet-room and a slightly later check out to be able to use the facilities without rushing. Much appreciated! The room is set up condo-style; a spacious studio with full kitchen, desk, and provided everything for a home away from home stay ie dishwasher, in-suite laundry, etc. This property is located closer to the highway, so the first night I couldn't sleep. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. I would stay here again because of the spa, there’s a patch of open area close for a quick off leash dog walk. Underground parking included. I stayed mid week, so it was quiet and avoided the weekend crowds, had the hot tub to myself for the most part and sauna all to myself - timing was perfect for a much needed self-care getaway.

It’s mostly okay. The hot tubs are great, parking situation is good. The biggest problem are the beds/rooms. The beds are extremely uncomfortable, pillows are lumpy and awful. We asked for extra pillows and they were the same. We had to go to Canadian tire to buy some pillows because they were that bad. Toilet constantly ran. Bad water pressure in shower. If you’re looking for the best sleep of your life, might wanna look elsewhere.

Convenient and clean place, big rooms, but can be noisy by train tracks (where in Canmore isn’t), but the worst thing is no room temperature controls. I’ve stayed there twice and both rooms no control. Other than built in electric fire which adds heat and a plug in portable loud as f*k air conditioner to cool.

Stayed in the 1-bedroom suite 203. Everything was great from a full kitchen to the heated bathroom floor. The staff at the front desk are there until 11pm which is cool and they are there to help in all ways. Great staff. Thank you all !!!

Emma was extremely helpful,pleasant and efficient as always when we checked in It is so lovely to have your preferences remembered and efforts made to accommodate by Emma. The lobby is very welcoming and the tulips were such a bright note on a cloudy day The new rug that is being installed is a very warming and welcoming colour. Two bedroom suite is very spacious, exceptionally clean and well appointed. The patio is very private and equipped with very comfortable chairs and table. Great for viewing HaLing And the Three sisters Beds and pillows are very comfortable and the hotel provides housecoats, which are amazing. Suite is very quiet and the views of the mountains are wonderful. Even at night you get a wonderful view of the moon. The restaurant has superb food and server, Fang was very knowledgeable and friendly and offered great advice on choices from the menu.

Our room was great, comfortable beds and clean and tidy. Gorgeous view of the mountains as well! Our son forgot his medication in the room when we checked out and the staff called right away to inform us they had it at the front desk. Very helpful, thanks again Silver Creek Lodge!!

The place is ok. a bit dated, very loud A/C location right by the high way; no food on site. The biggest issue right now is that I've been dealing with an unexplained overcharge for the past week. I asked a simple question why am I being charged more, and 4 emails later they still seem to answer a different question than the one I am asking, as if they were dodging it or trying to delay it. I couldn't possibly be more clear, so right now I am waiting for a response, to see whether I need to take it up with my bank. might update the review if this is resolved.

Made some requests before arrival and they were able to accommodate. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Room is cleaned and organized. Also pet friendly. Check in was easy and quick. Also have under ground parking.

Would definitely stay here again. The suite had everything we needed. Building construction across the way, and the train were a tad noisy. Overall it was great!

The restaurant, Wild Orchid was excellent. We enjoyed an amazing gluten free Asian Fusion meal. The room was extremely comfortable for our party of 4. Although our cooking was limited the kitchen is very well equipped. The beds and bedding are comfortable with great cotton sheets. Everything you need for a lovely stay. Location in close proximity to all attractions, restaurants and shop in the area.

Room was nice and clean. Hot tub was enjoyable to bad ends at 10pm. Sushi restraunt not the greatest idea as a hotels only dining experience but other places nearby. We will be back :)

The rooms are dated, but sufficient and clean. However, they are HOT. There is a portable AC in the window, which only made a dent in the temperature. The restaurant was very good. The swordfish tapa was outstanding. I'd return to the restaurant just for that dish.

Excellent value for the price - my room was clean, cozy and well-equipped. The full kitchen made it very convenient, and the balcony with a view of the mountains was a great place to sit with a book and relax. I also made use of the spa and hot tubs which were both great. The onsite sushi restaurant was delicious. I would highly recommend and will stay again.

O ne of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Do not stay here. Upon check in, the front desk is completely unknowledgeable of the area. I was visiting Banff for the first time and was asking questions about getting there and they had no idea what banff was? I get to the room and it was decent and comes with a small kitchen but the furniture and everything else is so old. The bed is just straight springs, TV is from the 2000s, random stereo that didn’t work and just took up space. Bed frame was broken and beneath the bed seems like it has never been cleaned. The worst part of this place is that the walls are paper thin. Our neighbors were making so much noise up until 1:30am. I called the security 3x and it didn’t do anything and they just suggested I call the police. Next morning I tell the front desk all the issues and requested a refund for the first night considering we got zero sleep from the terrible bed and noise. Not only were the annoyed of me telling them all this they completely dismissed me saying it’s not their fault and they will think about a discount. I ended up just getting 10% off the first night. Never staying here again.

We had a beautiful room. We had a unit with a complete kitchen. It was very nice to be able to whip up a meal. Everything looked quite new. We had covered parking. We stayed here for our trip to Banff. Quick easy drive and close to restaurants and shopping.

When we did the booking, it was mentioned that cleaning is upon request only. However, when I request that someone come to our room to replace used towels and take out the garbage, I was informed that they’d do that only if we stay with them more than 5 days. We were told that we need to bring our towels to the reception and collect the new ones, which was really disappointing. I’d rather book an Airbnb knowing that I’m responsible for cleaning than being at a hotel where I assumed that the higher price I paid included cleaning services. The front desk staff didn’t make any effort to accommodate any of our requests or even be friendly. In general, I will never recommend this property to anyone and will never go there again.
