I liked the availability of staff when issues arose. However I also found it extremely strange they chose my occupied room to clean carpets, leaving a musty wet carpet smell all night. Also had someone smoking pot on our floor making all the hallways which aren’t air conditioned smell terrible. The elevator definitely needs serviced. The gym and pool were nice. Breakfast left us wanting more variety, but overall a pleasant experience.

The goyrl itself was nice. Quiet except for a few times resident running through hallway amd slamming doors. Got suck briefly in the elevator. Friendly front desk staff. Bed was a little uncomfortable. Continental breakfast available. All around stay pledanr for a self care get a way

Elevator was not working upon arrival and no accommodation was made for party member with a mobility disability, was given a room on the third floor and had to use the stairs. Should have cancelled right then, but we were exhausted from traveling all day. There was mold in the bathroom and the shower, hair in the shower, and the pillows were dirty, among other things in the room. The staff was very cold and inhospitable. The elevator broke again during our stay with some of us in it and the staff told us to just pry the door open when thy were called with the help button. Overall worst hotel I have ever stayed in, not even worth the cheap price.

Well, it is a hotel, so you know the level of cleanliness is to be expected. Room was ok nothing major to report I just wish the bedroom floor was vacuumed better. Oh and yes there was not wood floors in my room as the picture indicates, I had carpet. I was located on the 3rd floor. Only 3 floors to this hotel. My husband and I used the workout room. Wall paper was peeling off the wall, there was 4 machines for your use. Breakfast was good - fresh made pancakes, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich, boiled eggs, yougurt, apples, cereal, oatmeal packs. I even liked the juice - O.J., apple, cranberry, lemondade. Normally the juice machine does not taste like they use 100% juice, but Baymont was very tasty.

We had a safe stay but overall the hotel needs some love. It seems like Wyndham hotels are going down. When you enter the lobby there is a large room leak and was definitely an eyesore. The customer service was good, all the staff were nice. I don't think I would stay here again because of the cleanliness. We had hair on all the beds, and tub was dirty. We also did our own cleaning and sanitation of the room. One of our rooms the AC was leaking all over the carpet, the rooms did not smell clean at all. The air conditioning units in both rooms should be deep cleaned ASAP.

First walked into room with a horrible stench, bathroom very dirty, mold on tub, shower and toilet. Tile behind toilet built up grime and urine. Mold on the ceiling also paint pealing off ceiling. Every piece of furniture had large stains so we couldnt even sit on them.. Walls and lamps also dirty. The second night our noses and throat burned from the stench we booked a room else where and left a day early. We believe the stench was sewage. We could of asked for another room but read reviews stating people got different rooms with a whole set of different problems. The breakfast is a joke. Also a very loud biker party out in the parking lot with loud music.

The filthiest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. If we weren’t so tired from driving all day we would have left. We didn’t notice it all when we first got to the room but a closer look revealed a dirty bathtub, soap scum on the faucets. Dirty floors everywhere and a roach that scurried across the bedside table to its home in the clock radio! This is a dog friendly hotel so they must think that it’s okay to give this kind of room to anyone traveling with a pet. I did tell the person at the front desk when I left and she seemed genuinely concerned.

I was very pleased with my stay. The room I had was clean. Check in and out was easy. Breakfast was good, very good selection. Parking lot felt safe. I would definitely stay again. Only complaint was Wi Fi kept going in and out

Very nice hotel. We were on the first floor, and the noise outside was a bit annoying. Also, even after a long wait, the shower never warmed up. Since the floors were not carpeted, which is great for cleanliness, the entire room echoed. It was very strange. there was a variety of restaurants nearby, which was nice, and the free breakfast was as expected.

Staff swapped out a non-working TV immediately. Room was spacious and quiet. Even though bed was oddly noisy and sofa was stained, we were comfortable and slept well.

Good value. Our room was spacious & the beds were comfy, we slept well. The bathroom needed some cosmetic touch up, but otherwise the room was in good condition. Breakfast was a plus & started early-great for early bird travelers. There was some hallway noise overnight but in the normal range for a hotel. We'd stay here again.

The hotel appreared clean but the office staff was awful. We arrived a couple hours early and before I could even get my name out fully the lady was shaking her head no saying we arrived too early. There were many other ways she could have expressed that without being rude. The office manager worked second shift and barely could understand English.

The hotel was extremely understaffed. There was just one lady at the lobby and she was also attending to guests at the breakfast. She was very polite and nice but was overwhelmed with taking care of everything! The trash in the rooms was not emptied daily. Bathrooms did not have exhaust fans which made the mirrors fog up after a shower.

The people at checking were rude and we had to wait for the room. Then the people who cleaned the room were busy making copies of forms they had filled out while cleaning the room. They were all rude and were turning away people. Even arguing with each other in front of the guest. It seemed dry unorganized and we weren’t the only ones complaining.

Great hotel for the price. Front desk was very accommodating and efficient..all shifts. Even the cleaning people were very nice and helpful…no English but they found a way to answer my questions. This was probably my 6-7 stay going back and forth from NJ to FL. Never any problems.

I have stayed here many times and will continue to due to the convenient location just off the interstate and close to Savannah. The dining options are also good here. Just for comparison, I opted for another budget hotel later on my journey in another state that reminded me how the Baymont by Wyndham Savannah South is such an excellent hotel. This other hotel was sketchy, out-of-date, grungy, etc. The Baymont is not only clean and well-taken care of by the management, it is under-priced compared to the competition in my opinion. My family has stayed here on numerous trips, both to Savannah and on our way to Florida.

I have stayed here many times and will continue to due to the convenient location just off the interstate and close to Savannah. The dining options are also good here. Just for comparison, I opted for another budget hotel later on my journey in another state that reminded me how the Baymont by Wyndham Savannah South is such an excellent hotel. The room was neat and clean, convenient location to dining and gas, 5 minutes from a nice Walmart, 25 minute drive to downtown. Decent basic breakfast. The grounds were nice near the hotel lobby and in the parking lot itself, but back by fence to walk dog was a lot of trash.

The location just off GA 204 at I 95 is excellent though at times traffic choked, as Savannah generally seems to be. We got to the tourist district along the river in about 20 minutes, and the Coastal GA Botanical Garden was about a mile down Canebreak Road. Good restaurants were also close by. The breakfast was good, and the service for the room was very good. The staff was friendly.

This was just an overnight stay off of 95. The hotel property and room were well kept and clean (to me the most important). But the whole area/neighborhood around the hotel was sketchy, dirty, and had limited dining choices. Even though the hotel was fine, unfortunately I most likely wouldn't stay there again because of the general area.

The beds and pillows were comfortable. There was a place to walk the dog. It was quiet for sleeping until 6am when doors slammed and people with lead feet walking above us. The breakfast was not so great, not even a banana to be had. However, we would stay here again.

The location just off GA 204 at I 95 is excellent though at times traffic choked, as Savannah generally seems to be. We got to the tourist district along the river in about 20 minutes, and the Coastal GA Botanical Garden was about a mile down Canebreak Road. Good restaurants were also close by. The breakfast was good, and the service for the room was very good. The staff was friendly.

Well, it is a hotel, so you know the level of cleanliness is to be expected. Room was ok nothing major to report I just wish the bedroom floor was vacuumed better. Oh and yes there was not wood floors in my room as the picture indicates, I had carpet. I was located on the 3rd floor. Only 3 floors to this hotel. My husband and I used the workout room. Wall paper was peeling off the wall, there was 4 machines for your use. Breakfast was good - fresh made pancakes, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich, boiled eggs, yougurt, apples, cereal, oatmeal packs. I even liked the juice - O.J., apple, cranberry, lemondade. Normally the juice machine does not taste like they use 100% juice, but Baymont was very tasty.

It said buffet breakfast, but what it should have said was continental. It had the usual items such as cereal, bread, muffins, oatmeal, juice and a pancake maker. The room was clean, beds were somewhat comfortable, looks like it had a nice pool but we were only passing through so we didn't have a chance to use it. When we awoke in the morning, they were already cleaning several rooms of guests that had checked out early. By the time we left at 9am, there were already 3 rooms cleaned and ready to go for the next guests. If that is the case, why is check in not until 4pm. Seems like they should allow early check in so travelers can get what they pay for. Hotels rooms are quite pricey for the amount of time actually spent sleeping there.

Room smelled like mildew the ac didn’t cool the room like it should. Staff was nice and bring your own soap as only one small bar is provided. Will not stay here again. Elevator inspection was expired and there was some sort of liquid inside elevator and lobby floors. If you need a quick shut eye after a long day of driving I guess this would work.

It was an okay property I would stay there again. Breakfast was good although it ends at 9:00 which is a bit early. But the staff was very nice very helpful.
