First of all we arrived to find they had no knowledge of the booking even though we had email confirming. So we had to pay again but at a higher rate. The room was adequate at least the shower was hot. View not the best but can put up with that. Its advertised as a 5 star hotel but should be lucky to make 3 star. Dirty mattress outside the room during our whole stay. It also shows a rooftop bar, one of the reasons we picked it but its actually at the sister hotel down the road and when we went to try it it was closed. We asked about the pool and was told thats also at the other hotel but is closed to be cleaned. Breakfast well, we went for breakfast on the second day to find the room empty, we were rushing for a trip so had to go, when we asked when we got back they said sorry the breakfast was also at the sister hotel down the road, you couldn't make it up. We also came back one evening at 2am and couldn't get in because the night man was asleep, we managed to force the door open which was held closed by an umbrella. Just to rub salt into the wounds on check out they charged us for a bottle of water, really? Been to many hotels in Vietnam and this was the worst by far and NOT 5 Star. Would not recommend.

Great location in the historic old quarter, a short walk from beautiful Hoan Kiem lake and night market. Walkable to Train Street and Temple of Literature. While the facility is showing signs of aging, it is clean and the staff outdo themselves keeping guests comfortable and happy. Vivian’s excellent recommendations on dining and visiting attractions proved invaluable. We loved our stay at Le Petit Princess Hotel and spa. My wife and I stayed here twice and would easily choose to again.

Staff were amazing and very nice to us. Lovely central hotel at a great price. Only limitation was some travel companies won’t come to the door but will pick up 1 minute walk away.
