Meget stor lejlighed meget centralt placeret og passende til en familie med børn, også til et længere ophold. Der var både et køkken og vaskemaskine på badeværelset, men ingen tørretumbler eller tørrestativ. Ingen te eller kaffe på værelset. Morgenmadsbuffet serveres på et andet hotel i nærheden. Det er nemt at komme rundt til seværdigheder fra hotellet til fods. Der er billig, offentlig parkering i operahuset 5-10 min gang fra hotellet.

The location excellent for exploring - was just in the middle of old town next to Frauenkirche. It was a blessing and our curse at the same time. We were "lucky" to come during the City Festival. Our windows were facing the church and the plaza. The noise was tremendous for 3 days in row (lasting till 1 am on the day of arrival, then till 11 pm and 9:30 pm the following two nights.) To be fair - when we closed the windows the noise was muted almost completely, but the problem was with the fact that apartments do not have AC ! (I didn't notice that when booking, otherwise I would never book it in first place, considering our trip in mid of August). It was hot without opening windows. So our sleep was ruined for all 3 nights :(. Otherwise comfortable apartment except for the shower cabin - it was very tiny, when showering was constantly hitting the valve of the shower causing the change of water temperature.

Parking seems like a stretch but ends up being ok. If you have a lot of luggage drop it close then go and park. And don't be scared to drive on the cobblestones..

We had a great time in this hotel. The place was amazing, the apartments are very spacious and everything is clean. The kitchen is well equipped and the location is perfect. Finding the reception is a little bit tricky since it is inside the parking lot and not on the side of street.

We had a clean room on the 5th floor with a comfortable bed, spacious bathroom with a washer, and a kitchen with all the essentials. However, the Wifi connection was very slow to sometimes not usable. Knowing how to access the available facility parking area in advance would have been very helpful since there is no street parking at check-in location. The apartment cost is very reasonable and is located in easy walking distance to all the sites in the old city.

Die Unterkunft ist für Ihren Preis in Ordnung. Sauberkeit ist ok. Man hat alles was man benötigt. Die Wohnungen sind sehr hellhörig, es ist also morgens eher laut. Nachts hat aber alles gepasst. Alles in allem für das Geld eine klare Empfehlung.

Charming Hotel in the Heart of Dresden Although the hotel was small and in an older building, it was very clean and well maintained. The atmosphere had a unique charm, and everything was comfortable and tidy. The best part was the location — right in the city center, directly across from the beautiful cathedral. It was the perfect base for exploring Dresden. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily return!

We spent a few days in Dresden because its' a lovely, unique city, and this apartment was right in the middle of it all. The entrance is in a courtyard just off the central town square by the Frauenkirche, so everything was at our doorstep but we were away from any noise. The apartment had everything we needed - living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom - and everything was clean and tidy. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. It's a short walk from the tram at Theaterplatz, so it's easy to get to the central station. Restaurants, cafes and shops are all around this area. It was a great stay and a really good place to stay.

Enjoyed my stay in the room so much, it was in an excellent location. Amazing view from my room, the room was also super clean amd ith everything you need. Kitchenette, fridge,s ink, dishwasher, hair dryer. I loved it.

Wir waren schon mal in der Anlage und hatten diesmal ein Apartment im Dachgeschoss und einen herrlichen Ausblick auf die Frauenkirche. Leider war es sehr warm im Zimmer und man musste das Fenster öffnen. Vor 3 Uhr war an Schlaf nicht zu denken.;) Aber wir wussten ja, das die Münzgasse sehr belebt ist und deshalb hat es uns nicht so sehr gestört für 2 Nächte.Die Lage ist dafür Einzigartig. Die Rezeption war wieder sehr nett beim Check-in, vielen Dank dafür!

The hotel’s location is very central. Just steps away from all major landmarks. The apartment was huge, with living room facing a very noisy street with lots of restaurants and the bedroom facing quieter courtyard (which helped enormously). If you plan to do your own cooking be prepared to walk some 10 min to nearest grocery stores. The kitchen had all basic stuff one needs. The floors were almost entirely carpeted. Big bathroom. The laundry machine didn’t do a good job for us, leaving half of the load barely wet, let alone clean. The stay was overall very nice, and the price was really good for what we got. Would recommended!

The location and size are terrific, but the individual rooms and things like WiFi or access and furniture will depend on the exact building. Our room had a wonderful view but weak Wifi. The bathrooms were very well-maintained, and the shower was very good in regards to temperature and pressure. We also got very lucky with the fantastic view of the Frauenkirche right across the courtyard. Our family members didn't have a comparable view but had much stronger WiFi signal in their room (which was in another building) The registration can be tricky if arriving and leaving early or late. It's not that big a deal.

I recommend avoiding aparthotel Münzgasse! The room did not look like the one in the pictures. In the pictures, it had big windows and a lot of light, but ours looked like a crypt with tiny windows. No daylight at all!!! Since we arrived after 7 pm and the reception was closed, so we had to move in. The next day I went to talk to the hotel management. The reception lady, Theresia, looked like she didn't want to deal with this. She told me that they have over a hundred units and can’t put all the pictures on the website. They had one room that looked like the one in the pictures, but we needed to move out of the current room and move back into a new one in about 4 hours!!! It was freezing outside, we were tired and jetlagged, so we chose to stay in the current room. So we ended up spending a New Year time in a dark outdated place. Such a shame…

Absolutely fantastic location, was running late and the hotel made fantastic effort to accommodate- my only complaint would be I only stayed 3 days I would of happily stayed longer

Sehr netter Empfang. Behilflich bei Buchung der Stadtrundfahrt. Alles sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Zimmer sehr gut. Es ist im Zentrum, muss man wissen. Kann laut sein im Sommer aber noch zentraler geht es kaum. Ich würde immer wieder dort buchen. DANKE

Arrived at 10pm No one hear to check us in. Called the emergency number and they referred us to a hotel. They had also moved us- but to a bigger unit in a different building. All turned out ok.

We had a great time in this hotel. The place was amazing, the apartments are very spacious and everything is clean. The kitchen is well equipped and the location is perfect. Finding the reception is a little bit tricky since it is inside the parking lot and not on the side of street.

Fantastic location with almost all places to visit in walking distance. The historic part of Dresden is right at your doorstep. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was very kind that we could safely store our luggage the next day to explore even more of the beautiful area. The only tricky part was to actually find this place along with the parking because at the time there was a lot of road constructions going on and nowhere a sign of the accommodation to be seen anywhere.

We spent a few days in Dresden because its' a lovely, unique city, and this apartment was right in the middle of it all. The entrance is in a courtyard just off the central town square by the Frauenkirche, so everything was at our doorstep but we were away from any noise. The apartment had everything we needed - living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom - and everything was clean and tidy. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. It's a short walk from the tram at Theaterplatz, so it's easy to get to the central station. Restaurants, cafes and shops are all around this area. It was a great stay and a really good place to stay.

The location excellent for exploring - was just in the middle of old town next to Frauenkirche. It was a blessing and our curse at the same time. We were "lucky" to come during the City Festival. Our windows were facing the church and the plaza. The noise was tremendous for 3 days in row (lasting till 1 am on the day of arrival, then till 11 pm and 9:30 pm the following two nights.) To be fair - when we closed the windows the noise was muted almost completely, but the problem was with the fact that apartments do not have AC ! (I didn't notice that when booking, otherwise I would never book it in first place, considering our trip in mid of August). It was hot without opening windows. So our sleep was ruined for all 3 nights :(. Otherwise comfortable apartment except for the shower cabin - it was very tiny, when showering was constantly hitting the valve of the shower causing the change of water temperature.

Am Anfang dachten wir wo sind wir hier hingekommen, aber am Ende war alles Gut. Rezeption war gut Zimmer war sehr gut bzw. die Wohnung und das Frühstück war auch gut, zwar in einem anderen Hotel aber gut. Würden wir wieder Buchen.

Meget stor lejlighed meget centralt placeret og passende til en familie med børn, også til et længere ophold. Der var både et køkken og vaskemaskine på badeværelset, men ingen tørretumbler eller tørrestativ. Ingen te eller kaffe på værelset. Morgenmadsbuffet serveres på et andet hotel i nærheden. Det er nemt at komme rundt til seværdigheder fra hotellet til fods. Der er billig, offentlig parkering i operahuset 5-10 min gang fra hotellet.
Meget stor lejlighed meget centralt placeret og passende til en familie med børn, også til et længere ophold. Fantastisk beliggenhed og dejlig lejlighed. Det kunne være rart med AC, så man kunne sove med lukkede vinduer om natten. Kommunikationen om hvor man skulle hente nøgle var uklar.

Perfekt beliggende i den gamle bydel. Rent og pænt. Ingen støj fra naboer, men man kan høre musik fra gaden (som dog stoppede i rimelig tid). Man skulle tjekke ind på adressen, selvom der i beskrivelsen står man skal tjekke ind på et andet hotel. Jeg ville klart vælge det igen.

We couldn't ask for a better location. We got an apartment at adressen nr 2 right in front of the square. The apartment was very big and clean. Had everything we needed. The location comes with the cost of hearing the church bells during the night and early in the morning so if you have problems sleeping this is not your place. We had bad luck since we came when there was heat wave in Europe. The apartment didn't have AC so it was a tough night for us with 34 degrees outside. We received one fan from the staff, so at least the boys had it better. They didn't have more fans for the rest of us. But yhey were helpful.

Die Lage im Zentrum gegenüber der Frauenkirche ist toll. Alles ist sehr gut zu Fuss erreichbar, auch die Elbepromenade, Semperoper etc. Vom Haus Nr. 2 sieht man u.a. direkt auf die Frauenkirche. Zimmer und Einrichtung sind schon älter, der Übernachtungspreis je nach Wochentag angemessen bis überteuert. Das WLAN war nicht brauchbar.
Die Lage im Zentrum gegenüber der Frauenkirche ist toll. Alles ist sehr gut zu Fuss erreichbar, auch die Elbepromenade, Semperoper etc. Vom Haus Nr. 2 sieht man u.a. direkt auf die Frauenkirche. Zimmer und Einrichtung sind schon älter, der Übernachtungspreis je nach Wochentag angemessen bis überteuert. Das WLAN war nicht brauchbar.
