We found the property to be in a good location for both Costa Adeje & Playa de Las Americas. Everywhere was kept very clean & the breakfast & terrace were perfect on a morning. If you are wanting a small quiet hotel then it has a lot of good qualities. However, I understand the reserving of Sunbeds should not be done for a full morning or all day but when you go down early to the pool & spend an hour on a bed then go for breakfast for 30 minutes & come back to find all your towels & belongings have been removed is unacceptable when we spent all day every day by the pool. To be made to feel like second class citizens in front of other guests was embarrassing & for this reason the lifeguard who walked around like Hitler would be our reasoning for choosing another property on our next visit. It is a shame he lets this hotel down.

The hotel is in an ideal location. The roof top pool had plenty of sun loungers and no loud music. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. All areas of the hotel were clean. The room was a good size with an excellent shower and a fabulous walk in wardrobe - never had so many hangers ! The bed was very comfortable. There was nothing to dislike!

This hotel is exceptional. The service & friendliness of the staff, the rooms are very spacious & oh a high standard. The food choice is Amazing & high quality. The roof top pool & jacuzzi is fabulous. Adult only, so perfectly peaceful & tranquil setting. Hotel not too large, so not feeling crowded at pools or meal times. Dining al fresco was fabulous in a beautiful setting. The hotel is not overlooked from passers by when sun bathing. Location is ideal to access the seafront and wonderful walks. Worthy of 5 star.

It was our fourth time having been at this marvelous hotel and it has always been a pleasure and very relaxing time. The rooftop pool deck is definitely one of the many highlights but so is everything else. The stuff is incredibly friendly, warm-hearted and always willing to help. We will definitely return. :)

Hotel molto carino e curato. A prima vista può sembrare un po' datato, ma funziona tutto alla perfezione, il personale è cordiale e presente e la struttura e tenuta molto bene. Abbiamo avuto un problema con la stanza assegnataci e il personale si è reso subito disponibile al cambio, dimostrandosi molto professionali, comprensivi e propositivi nel trovare una soluzione. La cena a buffet è abbastanza ricca per la categoria (offrono anche due fuori menù alla carta) e varia praticamente tutti i giorni. La colazione ha meno varietà ma comunque molto ricca e per tutti i palati. L'unica nota negativa è sulla disponibilità di lettini in piscina, che spesso risultano occupati senza che nessuno sia effettivamente presente. Questo però è più dovuto alla maleducazione dei clienti che all'inefficienza dello staff. Nel complesso siamo molto soddisfatti.

Very good adults only hotel plenty of areas to sun bathe no fighting for a sun bed. Staff kind, polite and helpful the maids always said Buenos días to me and the staff at the afternoon restaurant treated you with absolute respect whether you ordered a meal, snack or just drinks. On the whole a lovely warm and welcoming hotel.

Fabulous hotel in great location for stroll to beach for pubs and restaurants. It was their hotels 35th anniversary on our arrival and we had a bottle of fizz and biscuit on arrival to celebrate. The staff are friendly and helpful booking taxis and a table booking in next resort. Room is cleaned daily with fresh towels room and pool available too. Breakfast was included and had healthy and English or continental breakfast options. Got 5 sunbeds daily and used the pool bar/restaurant for drinks and lunch. It is a quieter hotel with no music or big groups of people or children which we gave it a relaxing vibe during the day and then walked along the beachfront for nighttime entertainment. Perfect holiday for us and would return. Thank you to all the staff for their exceptional hospitality and lots of smiles too

Great location, especially for older couples that want to be within walking distance of restaurants and bars and the beach, but also want a quiet hotel. The bus stop is right outside too for any excursions or to go to the busier, party part (also walkable if you enjoy walking, like we did!). Breakfast at the hotel is good, staff are professional and nice. There are a few vegetarian/vegan options for breakfast and a vegan burger on offer at lunch (didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel so can’t comment). Two pools so although it got busy we always managed to get sun loungers (although we went mid June). Hotel was decorated to a high standard, beds were comfortable and the safe in the bedroom was easy to use and free. Plenty of space for hanging your clothes in a walk-in wardrobe. I liked that reception on check in asks how often you’d like your bedding and/or towels changed. I would recommend and if I were to go back to the area I’d consider staying again

First time in Tenerife and picked a perfect hotel in my view. Very central and easy walk to supermarkets, restaurants and the beach. However spent more time poolside due to the adult only nature of the hotel, was nice and quiet and perfect for relaxing.

Dieci giorni trascorsi in una struttura dove è impossibile trovare un solo lato negativo. Hotel bello, pulito e in ottima posizione. Personale gentile, disponibile e attento al cliente (mia moglie compiva gli anni durante il soggiorno e le hanno fatto trovare in camera bottiglia e biglietto di auguri). Camere perfettamente insonorizzate! Insomma, vivamente consigliato e ancora complimenti!

The first time we’ve stayed at this hotel and we’d definitely return. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, the spacious room, comfortable bed and efficient air conditioning. The safe fridge in the room were useful and there was plenty of storage space. The sun terrace pool with bubble pool was a beautiful setting to relax. We were only bed and breakfast but the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. All the staff were very friendly and couldn’t have made our stay any more pleasurable.

Das Beste was uns passieren konnte! Von der ersten Minute hat alles gepasst. Sehr freundlicher Empfang an der Rezeption, das Zimmer perfekt, die Zimmerreinigung ebenso. Was das Essen anbelangt einfach ein Traum. Ein 4-Sterne Hotel das eigentlich 5-Sterne verdient. Wir verstehen jetzt die Wiederholungstäter

We are a couple both aged 23 - absolutely loved Colon Guanahani. The hotel is for the relaxers, we were one of few younger couples mostly older ladies and gents. Beautiful, beautiful hotel unique in its modern but homely natural style. Area was beautiful so much nicer than places we walked to, we were so happy we chose this hotel over others we seen that we had considered when booking. No hassle in the morning putting down towels next to the pool everyone just found their area. No tacky towel’s hanging over balconies. Our bags didnt arrive from the airport until day 2 and the hotel staff couldn’t have been more helpful in sorting this out with us. Lovely staff, lovely breakfast options, we didn't eat at the hotel in the evening but when we came home at night there was always a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant area and tasteful music which we liked to watch from the hidden gem view of the roof-top pool. The hotel was super clean even the outdoor walk ways were pristine and clean. Shower pressure was amazing, mirrors in the perfect lighting for ladies doing skin care or makeup/hair. Great location walking distance from the beach front with great restaurants and bars, short €6 taxi ride from siam park, we easily travelled to monkey park too. Cost us €30 to the airport in a taxi, 15 minute journey but taxis must bump up the price to the airport?? Genuinely a lovely place we will be back for some relaxing in the sun, photos don’t do it justice at all ! Thank you

Excellent hotel, booked their basic double and were allocated a ground floor garden room (125A), glad we did as we enjoyed late afternoon sun on our terrace. Rooms were a good size and spotlessly clean. Huge breakfast buffet and plenty of seating. Room card used for charging all purchases. Friendly staff cater for your every need.

Schöne Anlage mit toller Dachterrasse. Zimmer sind schon älter. Gutes Frühstück auf der Terrasse. Abendessen könnte besser sein. Rezeption ist nicht unfreundlich, aber man fühlt sich auch nicht besonders willkommen. Liegen werden schön früh morgens reserviert. Abendprogramm gleicht einer Veranstaltung im Altersheim. Um Umgebung ist leider sehr touristisch und hat Ballermann-Feeling. "Gemütlich Essen zu gehen" war schwierig.

The hotel is in an ideal location. The roof top pool had plenty of sun loungers and no loud music. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. All areas of the hotel were clean. The room was a good size with an excellent shower and a fabulous walk in wardrobe - never had so many hangers ! The bed was very comfortable. There was nothing to dislike!

Dieci giorni trascorsi in una struttura dove è impossibile trovare un solo lato negativo. Hotel bello, pulito e in ottima posizione. Personale gentile, disponibile e attento al cliente (mia moglie compiva gli anni durante il soggiorno e le hanno fatto trovare in camera bottiglia e biglietto di auguri). Camere perfettamente insonorizzate! Insomma, vivamente consigliato e ancora complimenti!

The first time we’ve stayed at this hotel and we’d definitely return. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, the spacious room, comfortable bed and efficient air conditioning. The safe fridge in the room were useful and there was plenty of storage space. The sun terrace pool with bubble pool was a beautiful setting to relax. We were only bed and breakfast but the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. All the staff were very friendly and couldn’t have made our stay any more pleasurable.

It's within walking distance to many restaurants, bars and shopping centres. The rooms are spacious with a walk in wardrobe and a large shower cubicle. Reception staff are always kind, respectful, helpful and very cheery. This is our second stay at the hotel and would not hesitate to stay again.

Excellent room..quiet and spacious. Location excellent for numerous restaurants. Short walk along well paved pavements. 2 supermarkets 2 minutes away. Our maid was friendly and helpful.

We are a couple both aged 23 - absolutely loved Colon Guanahani. The hotel is for the relaxers, we were one of few younger couples mostly older ladies and gents. Beautiful, beautiful hotel unique in its modern but homely natural style. Area was beautiful so much nicer than places we walked to, we were so happy we chose this hotel over others we seen that we had considered when booking. No hassle in the morning putting down towels next to the pool everyone just found their area. No tacky towel’s hanging over balconies. Our bags didnt arrive from the airport until day 2 and the hotel staff couldn’t have been more helpful in sorting this out with us. Lovely staff, lovely breakfast options, we didn't eat at the hotel in the evening but when we came home at night there was always a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant area and tasteful music which we liked to watch from the hidden gem view of the roof-top pool. The hotel was super clean even the outdoor walk ways were pristine and clean. Shower pressure was amazing, mirrors in the perfect lighting for ladies doing skin care or makeup/hair. Great location walking distance from the beach front with great restaurants and bars, short €6 taxi ride from siam park, we easily travelled to monkey park too. Cost us €30 to the airport in a taxi, 15 minute journey but taxis must bump up the price to the airport?? Genuinely a lovely place we will be back for some relaxing in the sun, photos don’t do it justice at all ! Thank you

Excellent hotel, booked their basic double and were allocated a ground floor garden room (125A), glad we did as we enjoyed late afternoon sun on our terrace. Rooms were a good size and spotlessly clean. Huge breakfast buffet and plenty of seating. Room card used for charging all purchases. Friendly staff cater for your every need.

We found the property to be in a good location for both Costa Adeje & Playa de Las Americas. Everywhere was kept very clean & the breakfast & terrace were perfect on a morning. If you are wanting a small quiet hotel then it has a lot of good qualities. However, I understand the reserving of Sunbeds should not be done for a full morning or all day but when you go down early to the pool & spend an hour on a bed then go for breakfast for 30 minutes & come back to find all your towels & belongings have been removed is unacceptable when we spent all day every day by the pool. To be made to feel like second class citizens in front of other guests was embarrassing & for this reason the lifeguard who walked around like Hitler would be our reasoning for choosing another property on our next visit. It is a shame he lets this hotel down.

It was our fourth time having been at this marvelous hotel and it has always been a pleasure and very relaxing time. The rooftop pool deck is definitely one of the many highlights but so is everything else. The stuff is incredibly friendly, warm-hearted and always willing to help. We will definitely return. :)

We chose the hotel based on what looked like excellent price / quality ratio. The price was OK, but difficult to understand how the average rating shows 9,4. If you have travelled more, and lived in quality hotels, this hotel deserves an 8 but not more. The dining area is pretty ordinary. Breakfast selection is excellent. Dinner buffet repeats the same dishes night after night. Service in the restaurant is, however, excellent, the staff deserves a 10. The front desk staff unfortunately is mixed. Some very helpful ones, but also poor ones. The room we were originally given did not match what we had ordered. Despite me showing the confirmation in writing, the attendant was putting the blame on me (and trying to get me to accept the allocated room) as their own files showed something different. The problem seemed to be somewhere between the hotel and the booking site, but certainly not with me. The issue was ultimately resolved, but his attitude left a negative mark. The pool area is nice, but the pools extremely small, be aware that there is no chance to really swim. There is a design fault with the facilities in that during rain some of the walkways from the rooms get flooded. They put towels on the walkways, but it is still very slippery and also doesnt have the look of a quality facility. Don´t use leather-soled shoes. To end on a positive note, the wifi was good.

Fabulous hotel in great location for stroll to beach for pubs and restaurants. It was their hotels 35th anniversary on our arrival and we had a bottle of fizz and biscuit on arrival to celebrate. The staff are friendly and helpful booking taxis and a table booking in next resort. Room is cleaned daily with fresh towels room and pool available too. Breakfast was included and had healthy and English or continental breakfast options. Got 5 sunbeds daily and used the pool bar/restaurant for drinks and lunch. It is a quieter hotel with no music or big groups of people or children which we gave it a relaxing vibe during the day and then walked along the beachfront for nighttime entertainment. Perfect holiday for us and would return. Thank you to all the staff for their exceptional hospitality and lots of smiles too

Really great stay here. Great location in a nice part of Costa Adeje, very quiet guests which is what we wanted (no partying or excessive drinking culture around the pool) and overall relaxing. The reception staff were particularly helpful and nice. The room was clean, had a large bed, small fridge, shower and bath, balcony, and most importantly air con! The TV channels definitely cater to British guests, having BBC, ITV, sky sports etc. The food was decent, but not amazing. There was always something for us to eat though and we really enjoyed sitting on the terrace at breakfast and dinner. We noticed a few people reserving sun loungers by the pool, but it wasn’t too bad and we always managed to find a spot for 2 people side by side. The pools are lovely and heated to just the right temperature for a hot day. The biggest downside is that the hotel across the road had a very loud rooftop party with lights and a DJ etc the Saturday night we arrived, which wasn’t ideal. It wasn’t noisy for the rest of the nights, so it might have been a one off though - and ultimately it’s not the hotel’s fault, just a noisy neighbour! Even with that, we’d still recommend this to anyone who wants a quiet, relaxing stay in tenerife. We will definitely be back.

Stayed for 5 days with a friend. Spacious enough room with balcony convenient to shopping centre and grocery store. Parking off site but not too difficult to get to. Spa did not have room but sister property did next door which was fantastic. Rent a car if you want to see the island. Some lovely restaurants with great views and good seafood nearby.

Fabulous hotel in great location for stroll to beach for pubs and restaurants. It was their hotels 35th anniversary on our arrival and we had a bottle of fizz and biscuit on arrival to celebrate. The staff are friendly and helpful booking taxis and a table booking in next resort. Room is cleaned daily with fresh towels room and pool available too. Breakfast was included and had healthy and English or continental breakfast options. Got 5 sunbeds daily and used the pool bar/restaurant for drinks and lunch. It is a quieter hotel with no music or big groups of people or children which we gave it a relaxing vibe during the day and then walked along the beachfront for nighttime entertainment. Perfect holiday for us and would return. Thank you to all the staff for their exceptional hospitality and lots of smiles too

Great location, especially for older couples that want to be within walking distance of restaurants and bars and the beach, but also want a quiet hotel. The bus stop is right outside too for any excursions or to go to the busier, party part (also walkable if you enjoy walking, like we did!). Breakfast at the hotel is good, staff are professional and nice. There are a few vegetarian/vegan options for breakfast and a vegan burger on offer at lunch (didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel so can’t comment). Two pools so although it got busy we always managed to get sun loungers (although we went mid June). Hotel was decorated to a high standard, beds were comfortable and the safe in the bedroom was easy to use and free. Plenty of space for hanging your clothes in a walk-in wardrobe. I liked that reception on check in asks how often you’d like your bedding and/or towels changed. I would recommend and if I were to go back to the area I’d consider staying again

First time in Tenerife and picked a perfect hotel in my view. Very central and easy walk to supermarkets, restaurants and the beach. However spent more time poolside due to the adult only nature of the hotel, was nice and quiet and perfect for relaxing.

Schöne Anlage mit toller Dachterrasse. Zimmer sind schon älter. Gutes Frühstück auf der Terrasse. Abendessen könnte besser sein. Rezeption ist nicht unfreundlich, aber man fühlt sich auch nicht besonders willkommen. Liegen werden schön früh morgens reserviert. Abendprogramm gleicht einer Veranstaltung im Altersheim. Um Umgebung ist leider sehr touristisch und hat Ballermann-Feeling. "Gemütlich Essen zu gehen" war schwierig.

The first time we’ve stayed at this hotel and we’d definitely return. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, the spacious room, comfortable bed and efficient air conditioning. The safe fridge in the room were useful and there was plenty of storage space. The sun terrace pool with bubble pool was a beautiful setting to relax. We were only bed and breakfast but the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. All the staff were very friendly and couldn’t have made our stay any more pleasurable.

This hotel is exceptional. The service & friendliness of the staff, the rooms are very spacious & oh a high standard. The food choice is Amazing & high quality. The roof top pool & jacuzzi is fabulous. Adult only, so perfectly peaceful & tranquil setting. Hotel not too large, so not feeling crowded at pools or meal times. Dining al fresco was fabulous in a beautiful setting. The hotel is not overlooked from passers by when sun bathing. Location is ideal to access the seafront and wonderful walks. Worthy of 5 star.

Beautiful hotel, cannot fault the rooms, pools or staff. The food was ok, managed to eat something tasty every day but the selection of breakfast was very poor. All types of eggs but the rest was wierd, runner beans, carrots, spring rolls, fish patties??? Evening meal not enough vegetable choice, one if lucky. Entertainment very poor. No music anywhere during the day so deathly quiet. Could do with a little low background music during the day, would have been nice.

Das Beste was uns passieren konnte! Von der ersten Minute hat alles gepasst. Sehr freundlicher Empfang an der Rezeption, das Zimmer perfekt, die Zimmerreinigung ebenso. Was das Essen anbelangt einfach ein Traum. Ein 4-Sterne Hotel das eigentlich 5-Sterne verdient. Wir verstehen jetzt die Wiederholungstäter

Hotel molto carino e curato. A prima vista può sembrare un po' datato, ma funziona tutto alla perfezione, il personale è cordiale e presente e la struttura e tenuta molto bene. Abbiamo avuto un problema con la stanza assegnataci e il personale si è reso subito disponibile al cambio, dimostrandosi molto professionali, comprensivi e propositivi nel trovare una soluzione. La cena a buffet è abbastanza ricca per la categoria (offrono anche due fuori menù alla carta) e varia praticamente tutti i giorni. La colazione ha meno varietà ma comunque molto ricca e per tutti i palati. L'unica nota negativa è sulla disponibilità di lettini in piscina, che spesso risultano occupati senza che nessuno sia effettivamente presente. Questo però è più dovuto alla maleducazione dei clienti che all'inefficienza dello staff. Nel complesso siamo molto soddisfatti.

We chose the hotel based on what looked like excellent price / quality ratio. The price was OK, but difficult to understand how the average rating shows 9,4. If you have travelled more, and lived in quality hotels, this hotel deserves an 8 but not more. The dining area is pretty ordinary. Breakfast selection is excellent. Dinner buffet repeats the same dishes night after night. Service in the restaurant is, however, excellent, the staff deserves a 10. The front desk staff unfortunately is mixed. Some very helpful ones, but also poor ones. The room we were originally given did not match what we had ordered. Despite me showing the confirmation in writing, the attendant was putting the blame on me (and trying to get me to accept the allocated room) as their own files showed something different. The problem seemed to be somewhere between the hotel and the booking site, but certainly not with me. The issue was ultimately resolved, but his attitude left a negative mark. The pool area is nice, but the pools extremely small, be aware that there is no chance to really swim. There is a design fault with the facilities in that during rain some of the walkways from the rooms get flooded. They put towels on the walkways, but it is still very slippery and also doesnt have the look of a quality facility. Don´t use leather-soled shoes. To end on a positive note, the wifi was good.

Excellent hotel, booked their basic double and were allocated a ground floor garden room (125A), glad we did as we enjoyed late afternoon sun on our terrace. Rooms were a good size and spotlessly clean. Huge breakfast buffet and plenty of seating. Room card used for charging all purchases. Friendly staff cater for your every need.
