Little Foxes Hotel & Gatwick Airport Parking

This is a very convenient hotel for Gatwick airport. The rooms are very sparse but clean and comfortable. Large shower room with good hot water pressure. There is a restaurant but it is not open on Sundays. The hotel has parking and a facility for airport parking and transport to and from Gatwick. We found the area quiet despite planes coming in and out. Great for stays of 1/2 nights or for picking up family from Gatwick as we had to do.

Quiet location yet only ten minutes to Gatwick airport. Very friendly staff and great to have a restaurant onsite. Would stay again

Good access to Gatwick Airport. Room was clean and comfortable and staff were helpful. Very limited evening menu and no breakfast offered during weekdays, and of course aircraft noise owing to close proximity to Gatwick Airport. Good budget option for departure from Gatwick.

This was just an overnight stay, as we had an early flight in the morning, very convenient for Gatwick airport, however we did find that it took ages for the hot water in the bathroom, also found that it was unusual that we could not get any alcoholic beverages at the hotel

We only stayed 5 hours after a late flight arrival at 01:00am. Whilst they don’t have a 24 hour front desk they accommodated our 02:00 arrival for a small extra premium. Third time we’ve stayed and will stay again

The staff were helpful, so thank you for that service and parking for our trip was simple. Although, I did find the minimum charge of £65 for 8 nights excessive when I only required 4 nights. The hotel is very tired and shabby, definitely needs some TLC. It should be made clear on the website that it’s a dry hotel, I completely understand the reason for this, however it should be clearly stated in order for a guest to have the choice of booking a hotel with a bar. All in all, it worked for us for ease of parking on this occasion but we would not choose to stay again.

Property is very Good, Parking also good ,Room service is ok , Location is very good and calm and quiet , Very near to Gatwick airport . Problem is the Restaurant inside the Hotel is working only after 4 Pm on a normal day and full day on Saturday and Sunday .Room Heater was not working that day .

Terrific place to stay for Gatwick Airport convenience- especially when using The Purple Parking facility at Gatwick - only a 3 minute journey 😀😀. We ate in the onsite restaurant/takeaway which was really good (hamburger & fries ) delicious.

Really nice clean, spacious room. Convenient for Gatwick airport. On site restaurant food great curries, generous portions and well priced. Be aware though that alcohol is not available.

Clean room, convenient location.

Supposed to stay for 2 nights. Only ended up staying for 1, due to uncleanliness. Arrived late friday night, after a 6 hour car journey and had no other options, so had to stay. Hotel had a distinctive smell to it, that was disgusting. Damp/dirty. Bed had hairs in it. Toilet seat had hairs on it. Slept on top of the covers, in outdoor clothes to prevent touching the dirty sheets. Spoke with staff about our departure next day, but staff appeared unbothered. We will not return.

Despite recent reviews, this hotel is in no way exceptional. It's adequate/functional at best. Tired decor, scruffy rooms, and badly in need of a complete refit. If you want to stay overnight and park your car, whilst wishing you were staying somewhere else, then this is the place for you. The price reflects the quality of the hotel.

A plus that there was a fan in the room, since there wasn't air conditioning. The carpet is is in major need of cleaning. The bathroom floor was not clean; your feet got dirtier after you got out of shower.

It was not really as represented. The beds were very hard, the rooms are very austere. The staff are very kind. The carpeting in the room were old. The bathrooms was clean.

Lovely building. However. No food available on site. Offered no alternatives. (9.30 pm arrival) Carpets felt damp. Mould on window sills, overwhelming air freshener smells to cover the smell of mould. Very disappointing after a flight. Photographs do not represent what we saw.

It needs minor maintenance items doing, a stitch in time, would go wonders. Very clean bathroom, incl the toilet. It was a single room for one night only so for me adequate, if I did the same trip again I would use them , certainly as a comparison, it's a stop over hotel for the airport I guess, not likely to engender loyalty from guests, maybe next time I could try the double room!

The customer service was great and friendly, the beds comfortable. The drive in was full of potholes and missing lights. There was dirt on the floor, stains on the walls, bugs squished on the wall. One wall looked like it had boogers on it. There was no lock on the bathroom door. This hotel did not meet its online presentation.

The wi-fi is good and parking is available. The hotel itself is a nice looking building and in a secluded location but only a 5 minute drive from Manor Royal. I enjoyed my stays at the Little Foxes, and would recommend.

It’s isolated and need to use a car or taxi my room 7 was small no wardrobe or space for my suitcase

Good parking, very good location but the beds definitely need changing, probably the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on.

Okay - Good Stuff First - On-Site Safe Parking - |Good Room Size - Clean - Good Bathroom Size - Although limited Food on-site Good - Only when you stand outside do you realise the Room Soundproofing is very good. Not so Good - Shower takes minimum of 10mins to even get close to warm (regardless of time of day) and even then Maximum Hot is poor. - Did request New Towels for Day 3 - but still had to go back to reception for these, as not delivered. - Poor to non-existent Bedside Lighting.

Everything was fine, my room was very small but clean and no issues with the shower. The food was tasty and reasonably priced.

Stayed here for one night as i had work the next day early on. Easy and friendly check in. Teams who run the hotel are fantastic. WiFi issue, sorted straight away by the receptionist and even came to my room to inform me. Top notch service. Food was really tasty nice burgers and milkshakes! The mattress on the bed is a bit hard for my liking, took a few turns to get to sleep, but the room otherwise was very clean and well equipped! Would stay again!

We only stayed 5 hours after a late flight arrival at 01:00am. Whilst they don’t have a 24 hour front desk they accommodated our 02:00 arrival for a small extra premium. Third time we’ve stayed and will stay again

Pros: The hotel was convenient to our early morning departure from Gatwick airport, and the staff were pleasant and helpful with our luggage and giving us extra towels. The room was clean and quiet, and the hot water was great. Cons: The room had a slight odor, possibly mold. The desk clerk gave us inaccurate airport information. Additionally, the taxi, arranged by the desk clerk the evening before, arrived 20 minutes late, at 6:20 AM instead of 6 AM. The taxi let us off at the north terminal, as instructed by the desk clerk the night before. When we got inside, we found we needed to go to the south terminal. The combination of issues, along with delays in the Gatwick Airport assistance service, meant that we lwound up getting on our plane 15 minutes before they closed the doors, instead of boarding immediately when they initially opened the plane doors. It was a good thing that we had planned for a taxi at 6 AM, four hours before our flight time. I would likely stay there again on an economy trip, although I might also spend the extra money to stay at an airport hotel chain, like Marriott. And I would definitely not depend on the staff for airport information.

On a previous visit i asked how i enter the building late at night and was told door is left unlocked, and in the event the door is locked, the room keys open it. This time around, i returned to the property having been on a night out, at around 2am, and the front door was locked. No answer on the phone lines, room key didnt work on the front door and after rining the door bell several times i started to wander around the building looking for a sign of life... someone opened the door after a while (at 2am it felt like a frustrating lifetime). They said the door gets locked at night for security...i asked why i wasnt told that on checkin...was told i didnt ask so it wasnt mentioned...such a thing should be told to guests i think. In the room, a double for two guests, there was only one towel each...same was true on my previous visit... doesnt take much to put an extra set of towels in there. The shower soap dispenser was empty... there was no waste bin in the room, there was one in the bathroom. Hotel restaurant is halal, or so i was told...so thats a positive.

Good value overall, clean and tidy but the flight path to Gatwick may annoy some. Did cease overnight however.

This one needs a proper renovation. This sums it up. Also, considering it being basically under the flight path, proper windows have to be installed

Property run down, they doing a bit of renovations. distance to airport, only taxi service cost 20 to 30Gbp. Dining room run down but we had a very nice chicken Claypot bariani rice.

Arrived quite late due to train delays but staff were friendly and room was fine. Used it as an overnight stay for Gatwick and walked to the airport via Crawley which took a long time but was ok as cost of taxis are extortionate. Would use again.

Though close to Gatwick it’s difficult to get to and the taxi prices are expensive. The restaurant was very limited and cold. The room was ok

This place is super cozy & super clean. They have a restaurant down stairs which has the most amazing Indian cuisine. They are flexible if you need to check in a little earlier which is super nice. The staff in the front is very nice. I highly recommend staying at little fox.

Comfortable clean hotel room in a country setting. Downside: Restaurant only offers burgers and they don’t start serving coffee until 9 am. The room could use a luggage stand/bench.

Staff friendly and check in easy. Rooms good size and clean. Kettle in the room for teas and coffees. Decor a little old fashioned but it was only an overnight stay. Managed to get some food onsite which was tasty. All in all a good overnight stay for the price. Thank you.

The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly. Disappointed to discover that they don’t offer breakfast on weekdays and that in the evening, the “grill” next door only really offers burgers.
