We’ve been to terranea multiple times and this one sadly will be our last. I reached out regarding the not so great stay, and no response. We checked in and there was a large baby crib in our room. We called multiple times for them to remove it, it sat there for both nights, not until I asked housekeeping when they came to the room for cleaning did someone actually remove it. Service was also terrible. We got there and wanted to just lay by the pool and watch the view and we asked a server knowing the bar closed by the pool in 30 minutes if we could get in a quick drink order, she dismissed us saying she’d return to take our order and never came back, and then we were told we had to go somewhere else to get drinks. Dinner service at one of the restaurants took so long, we never said a word, they took half off the bil. Breakfast on the final day, was a bit chilly but being from Chicago we wanted to enjoy outside. I asked the host if the heater outside could be turned on, she said of course, we also asked our server, who once she took our order was never seen from again, this was a buffet breakfast and only after almost an hour and a half later someone came running out with all the bills apologizing. This was bad, on all levels. We stayed at the maybourne in Beverly Hills, and that’s what real customer service should look like. I never leave reviews but they just don’t care at terranea it’s about volume and money for them, definitely not about people.
