I stayed for four nights, and enjoyed the location and the friendliness of the very helpful front desk staff. I passed on breakfast at the restaurant because I couldn't see myself eating enough food to justify the price. I had hoped there might be a spa located with the pool, but there was none. As a final.thought, it would've been nice to have the pods for the in-room coffee dispenser replenished daily. I went through two cups the first morning, and never saw any more. But, there are a couple of great coffee shops within a short walk.

The Doubletree was conveniently located close to the National Comedy Museum and the Lucy-Desi museum. Both were a short walk away. Breakfast has a vast variety of food and the room was comfortable and clean.

Wished extra mirror in bedroom with elec outlet nearby. I fixed my hair sitting in a chair without either while my husband showered. Cookie on arrival was yummy! Liked bathroom nightlight.

The rooms and staff were excellent. I used the fitness room and it was well supplied. My only problem was the breakfast. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was $21 for the hot buffet. The buffet was only a little better than the free breakfast one gets in other hotels. Besides that, the food was cold and one had to search for silverware and napkins. I would recommend the hotel highly but would go somewhere else for breakfast.

Check in process was quick and efficient. The staff was helpful and courteous. Our room was well appointed, quiet, and comfortable. The elevator leading from the garage back to the rooms was broken, compellng my wife and I to retrace our steps with heavy suitcases in hand all the way back down the stairs and up the elevator from the first floor. I mentioned this to the people at the front desk, who told us it was the city's responsibility and not their fault. This may be true, but can I suggest postig a sign or telling customers as they arrive that they won't be able to get to their rooms from the concourse that leads from the garage? Also, there was an extra lamp in our room for no apparent purpose, which blocked the nighstand drawer from opening on the right hand side of the bed. Last, the check in clerk at the front desk forgot to ask us for our car's license plate number to park in the garage- if I hadn't overheard the other clerk asking another customer, we might not have been on the list of cars allowed to park-- would we have been towed?
