Seabreeze Inn - Fort Walton

Pool being closed for the season would have been good to know but it was clean and quiet and fairly priced.

I was completely surprised about the quality of our room from the outside of this hotel. You have to put a security damage deposit down due to spring breakers behavior. The pool actually had a lock and chain on it but they were right ready to open it for me. Our room was outstanding! I was floored! The bed was fantastic ,linens are top notch , TV fantastic. So spacious really worth the money.

This was convenient area with lots of restaurant options and beach was easy drive… pool looked nice .. did not use it… elevator worked well..would recommend

We loved the cleanliness of the room and the grounds, we also loved that it was so close to drive to the beach. The only complaint is that there was no outside seating to sit and eat or have a drink at the end of the day. There was tables at the pool area, but no food or drinks allowed.

This was a great price for the location. There is parking across the street for trailers and larger vehicles. We working so we had a 40ft trailer so this was perfect to drop trailer and drive where we wanted to go. The boats and water were nice. There were some hut bars next to us with music that stayed lit until 2am so we could party and walk to our room. Restaurant on the other side. Plenty going on near you. We will be back.

I never write bad reviews, but I had to in this case. Great location and the room was ok. The staff and check in was terrible.. Pool looked really nice, but of course it was chained shut/closed during the advertised open hours. Beware of the fine print and extra costs associated with this hotel. It feels like a scam the second you enter the lobby.

The check-in clerk was friendly and we chatted for a bit. The room was quite comfortable. Although, there was no bedside lamp. The pool was a bonus I took advantage. Not sure why the ice dispenser only gave me on ice bucket full. Parking was great for I parked right in front of my room. I highly recommend this gem.

Not very handicapped friendly. If you want a first floor room you have to upgrade to a deluxe two bedroom. They do have an elevator but be prepared if you're on the opposite side of the elevator you do have quite a walk at times depending upon your room location

Staff very kind and helpful. Properly is located in close vicinity to the beach and Okaloosa Island. Would stay again. No breakfast available at this site.

The room smelled which is a big thumps down for me. The carpet seem wet or it felt that way. Not bad I guess for the price, could have been worst.

Super clean! Very convenient to public beach access points. The owners are very nice. Located in between 2 great restaurants with multiple restaurants within a couple of blocks.

I found a small roach in the bathroom but that is my only complaint

(Liked)Right on the sea shore, close to many restaurants, on the main strip, close to other hotels. (Did not like) No return for unused night after leaving early because filthy carpet was causing allergy and sinus symptoms for my entire family. Socks were totally filthy after just three minutes walking on carpet.

The staff was amazing and the room was super clean. No bugs. No issues. Truly a place I’d like to go back to.

The sheets and pillows had stains and holes , stains on the carpet in the room and the stand was damaged. Over all I was dissatisfied with the room

It was simple but ok. However, the a/c was so loud that we could barely sleep. Also, there was a roach in the bathroom. The staff was very helpful and nice!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room could use another chair or small love seat along with a free standing lamp. Other than that the room was fine. Nice view of the gulf and there was a pool which I didn't use

Some renovations were completed but the br vanity and mirror had chipped paint and poor. No bedside lighting In fact one lamp on desk area and overhead only. The front door had a hole in the bottom. Overall very clean, comfy bed, big new TV. Frig, microwave and a Keurig a plus a lot of parking lot noise. Desk was run by Guy who was pleasant and efficient. No coffee in lobby. Nice pool area in back but we didn’t use. Congested area.

First off, how close they claimed to be to all the fun stuff in Destin was a lie! Not that close at all. Second, the door looks like it has been taken off & refitted to the frame several times. Making me wonder just how sturdy it would be versus an intruder. The door had a horror movie vibe. third, Dirty looking pool. Fourth, even though we had the Do Not Disturb magnetic sticker, which is odd in itself, on the outside of the door, they came in & changed everything around. Not a great place, especially for a family. Maybe would work better for a couple college kids or single business man.. Majority of front desk workers not all that friendly either.

There was a gap between the door and the jam. There was a storm and the wind blowing through the door was so loud. The room smelled dingy though it looked clean. When we arrived there was confusion with the reservation that was frustrating! Overall I think that this place deserves a 3 star rating at best.

You have great views from the balcony, and the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. Spent a short time here, it was ok.

Property was nice, room provided basic amenities and staff was friendly. Room door was not fully sealed, so heat and humidity was able to make its way into the room easily. AC in the room struggled to cool down the room.

Overall, our stay was decent, and I would stay again. There are only a few complaints I have about the Seabreeze. Cons: 1. Staff requires a $50 early check-in fee. What happened to people just being nice since the room was ready and expenses were paid in full? 2. Noisy nights. The hotel is beside GI Jane, and honey, they party HARD. If you're looking for tranquility, this may not be the place. GI Jane started playing music from 7pm-11pm. 3. The traffic wasn't horrible, but expect delays during the weekend when trying to go to Destin or Ft Walton Beach. Pros: 1. Room was super clean 2. Staff were visible on-site if you needed anything 3. Safe location 4. Plenty of parking

They were so nice and friendly and really helped us!

Not impressed with this hotel at all. The front desk employees were not pleasant nor accommodating. We arrived 2 hours early and asked if we could check in. They had a room available but wanted an extra $60 for early check in. Next, I reserved a two queen bed room for 2 people on the reservations, but told them it was 4 at check in. Big mistake. They wanted another $22. We finally get to the room and only have 2 towels. I call the front desk and ask for more towels and what am I even paying for with the extra $22. They said they will notify housekeeping and hung up. No good bye, nothing. I thought we were disconnected so I called back. I asked if they got my request and they rudely said yes, and hung up again. We are at the pool, and when we get back to the room, there are still no towels. I go to the front desk and ask about the towels and they said housekeeping knocked on the door but got no answer, so they left. What? Housekeeping doesn't put the towels in the room? I asked for 5 additional towels and she only gave me three. They are ready to pounce and nickel and dime you to death. See my picture. The pool hours close at dusk, which seems ridiculous. In fact, some of the pool rules don't make any sense. It seems that this hotel has to deal with unruly college kids and take it out on all patrons. This place is not very inviting. I won't be back.

The attendant Guy was the most amazing customer service representative I have ever met. From the moment that we arrived he made us feel so welcome the rooms were nice I mean nothing spectacular but comfortable and clean. But Guys customer service made this trip and hotel a 10 out of 10 this trip

We stay here about every 3-4 months when we visit our granddaughter! We changed once, never again. Always clean, staff is friendly and we have never had an issue! Guy checked us in this time, what a great welcoming person he is, keep that man!

The customer service is terrible

There was a young couple right next door that were up all night screaming at each other & beating on the door. After calling the front desk nothing was done & we dealt with them for 2 nights

Customer service is very bad , the one particular guy was very rude. I told him there was bugs and he said he didn’t care about no bugs. He is very , very rude . Unprofessional. I got a rash from that bed, been itching till this day. I had told him that I was going to put a review in here and he said he didn’t care. They don’t even offer nothing. For almost $600 a night , he is going to mention to me, if the towels are not clean he gonna charge extra. The floors are dirty that’s the reason the towels were put on floor after showering. I had to end my trip early because of it for only one day. I was suppose to stay there the whole week but stayed only one cause of everything they do. It was terrible . Don’t recommend nobody to even stay here . The only thing good is the surrounding. But the hotel its self is terrible. Don’t need to stay here, everything is dirty, unprofessional . Spent a lot for one night and for terrible service. I tried to post the pictures but it doesn’t give me an option

We loved our stay at this little place! It was very fairly priced, close to everything on Miracle Strip Parkway, & updated very cute! Plenty of little shops close by. It is in between two restaurants & one of the best ones we go to every time we stay in Destin (The Shack). It was nice being so close to the water on the bayside & the view was great. Staff was very friendly! Parking is a little tight but we didn’t have any issues. 10/10 would recommend!

The place was clean, right off the main road, next to some boat docks.

I liked that we were right on the water, my two year old had a blast watching the birds and crabs. Place was really clean and nice.

Great price for proximity to the beach and pier.

I want to add that traffic is really bad in front of the hotel between 11:00 and 2:00.

The room was clean and nicely decorated. It has a mini fridge which was nice to store leftovers. It’s centrally located and we enjoyed walking next door for the live entertainment. Will definitely stay here again.

Good price for a nice place to stay near the beach. Also the Shack is located next door with awesome food. Good view if the bay as well.

Travel with family, I booked 2 rooms and both rooms were nice and cleaned. Restaurants and shopping centers near by makes it a great place to stay.

Great place to stay, I felt safe as a solo traveler. The owners were very nice, you can tell that they are working hard continually make updates. I travel for work and I like to support local businesses rather than chains. Price was right as well. Both restaurants/bars on either side were convenient for dinner. I recommend happy hour at G.I. Jade’s Tiki Bar and the crab dip at the Shack.

Front desk attendant was very friendly and helpful with recommendations in the area. The room was clean, the desk chair was very old with the covering peeling away. Shower worked but can’t take a bath. No breakfast. Pool looked nice

Clean, cozy hotel between 2 bars. Was worried at first about the noise but the bar closes at 10. Close to the activities on Ft Walton/ Destin Beaches.
