We had luke warm water in our room. The soaker tub was one highlight of our stay but the water would noy get hot. After waiting over an hour I attempted a shower thinking maybe the water heater simply needed time to warm up and still ended up with a lukewarm shower. Not a great way to start the day especially after paying a higher rate than we anticipated and ending up in a double queen instead of a king like we reserved.

We had a midnight fire drill. Got down 4 flights before we heard it was a false alarm. So back to the room, but the alarm continued on for 10 more minutes. We had a hard time falling back to sleep. Staff was unsympathetic. They waved a 17.50. Big deal! We gambled, plus paid over $100 for the room.

Staff was amazingly help and courteous and the facility was amazingly clean. The only real detraction was the remodel being done on the hotel parking tower.

I did not like the amenity fee at check in, prefer it would be charged upfront. Escalators said no bags but no other way to access hotel. An escalator under repair, had to use stairs. sign said maintenance but this obviously euphism. Would have liked a bar outside of gaming area but probably too much to expect. Room size good and everything worked.

The property is actually quite nice. What is supposed to be a smoke-free property is not. It smelled of cigarettes in more than a few places including my room. The choice of restaurants is down to two at night. The expensive steak house and the yuppy Mexican joint. We went to each one in two nights and the service and food was pretty good but I would have liked a few more choices.

To high priced. Elevators- only one working and so small you could barely get luggage cart inside. Have to go security check everyday even if staying at hotel. Hotel was freezing. Two places to eat. One like snack area and the other expensive. On positive side rooms & bathrooms are huge. Negative on room- afraid to sit on couch or chair. Disgusting. The casino area small . Manly slots. There is a smoking area inside for those who need it. All the staff here are very friendly. Won't stay here again.

Harrahs Casino hotel was very nice, clean, comfortable and large room and nice comfy bed. Deep bathtub, and spacious bathroom. The price was great, but there is a $17.50 resort fee addition beyond taxes. My wife used the workout room and said it was excellent. The restaurants were not open due to midweek off season. At at the casino grill, but it was marginal at best. Probably with the drive to find something else in Joliet. We did not gamble, just traveling through. So a quick stay. Off season was nice and the casino was also very quiet.

Facility was clean, room seemed clean. Went to put a bottle of water in refrigerator and found someone’s leftovers. My biggest pet peeve is bathrooms. Someone needs to look at white and green build up on sink faucets, brown spots in corners of bathtub. Whom ever cleaned this room last needs to make sure they get the streaks off the mirror, looks like there was something on the towel they used.

Property is run-down. We were warned to not smoke in the room or there would be a fine. When we arrived in the room, it was clear someone had been smoking heavily in the room. Reported it so we weren’t charged. We were told someone would ‘defog’ the room with a piece of equipment. A worked showed up with a spray bottle and essentially sprayed air freshener around. There was no ventilation, so the room smelled like smoke and heavy air freshener.

I loved my stay here. Absolutely huge room with tall ceilings and a nice view of the river. Gigantic bathroom with separate water closet yay! Beautifully decorated. The absolute nicest people I have ever met work at this hotel! Every single person, from the front desk to the security guards at the casino to the housekeeper I ran into to the staff at the restaurant I walked by.... So friendly, so engaging and genuinely sweet. I would stay here a million times.

This was my first day at the Harrah's Casino in Joliet. The room was spacious, well laid out, and very clean. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The casino floor staff was likewise very helpful and the overall experience was very pleasant.

Dirty and unkempt. I actually took photos of the moldy dirty shower. Pubic hair on the floor of the bathroom when we checked in. Everything told me it was a quick swipe with a towel and not much else. Whole public area smelled bad.

Stayed here for a show at the Rialto Theater. It was a quick two block walk to the show. The room was a king, and was very spacious. It was also quiet given the street and river traffic out the window. The best the best thing was the bathroom. The tub was huge, great water pressure, and a lot of hot water. The stool was closed off in its own separate. We did pay $15 for early check in, as we showed up around 2:00 pm and check in is at 4:00 pm

The room was large and clean, the hotel was perfectly adequate for a place to stay for a night or two. Sound definitely carries between rooms and a vacuum outside our door might as well have been inside. Not necessarily the safest area, but we didnt have any specific problems.

Worst travel experience I’ve ever had with this hotel. Booked through Expedia and paid in full. Upon arrival they claimed it wasn’t paid. I showed proof it was paid. Even got on the phone with Expedia who verified with them that it was paid. Still refused to put us in a room for almost 2 hours. At this point it was after midnight when eventually they let us into a room, probably because my 15 month old baby was with us in the lobby and I was in tears. So I basically paid for a check in day that I was not able to check in on. They refused a partial refund for that day. At about 2am the power to the entire hotel went out. Bright emergency lights came on in each room. When power was restored all the lights in the entire room turned on and alarms went off. Next day we had to call maintenance because tv remote wasn’t working. Still was required to pay $70 in resort fees for this absolute miserable experience. Never once cleaned our room with a 5 day 4 night booking. Had to flag down service to get new towels. Overall just a terrible terrible experience. Would not recommend staying here!

The customer service at check in was horrible when we arrived to check in the first we went to was not even cleaned or ready so we went back down and they gave us another room when we got in that room it was not a king bed that i booked instead it was a queen dbl bed. I went back down and was told just because I booked a king room that per Harrahs policies it is not guranteed. I asked the rude manager where that policy was she stayed its there and basically I had to deal with that room. I looked through booking policies and did not see nothing like that. I believe she just did not want to help. That is unexceptable and I hope going forward your front desk staff treat your guest a better.

When we got into our room, we found the bed had no blanket. We called downstairs for a blanket to be brought up and the desk clerk at the desk said he has no one to bring up a blanket that we would have to get it ourselves.. Both my husband and I are senior citizens with Disabilities so you can imagine that we will not be back again!

Room was very nice and I loved the pictures hanging on the wall. Very convenient for us to walk to the Rialto Theater.

The hotel is close to the music venue The Forge. There are 2 restaurants nearby that we also like to frequent, Juliet's Tavern and Chicago Street pub. Parking is easy and free, there is a pedestrian bridge that goes from the parking garage to the hotel.

The neighborhood where the Hotel was located was sketchy, but the Hotel was safe and clean with its own parking, and the staff were pleasant. We would stay here again if we needed a place to stay in the area while traveling.

I went to a concert at The Forge and spent the night here. The room was clean, quiet, and affordable with free parking in the parking structure. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in town for a concert

Staff was great, room was clean, bed soft. No usb plug ins, restaurants in-house are only open thurs-Sun, Today is Wednesday:( There is a small sandwich and wrap counter.

The staff was amazing! So helpful, friendly. Very nice. And the reserve restaurant was amazing..first and foremost the steak was awesome! Seasoned and cooked to perfection…the chef even came out and chatted!!! Our sever Sam was super friendly and knowledgeable! Best overall experience we’ve had in a long time!

Room was really nice, we lost our money at the casino, but that happens lol. My only issue was we had a problem with the air condition in our room and when we called the front desk, they said they would send maintenance up to check it out, but no one ever came. We had it set to the lowest temperature in the room and high fan, but it was still hot in the room

For the price, you cant beat the rooms. I actually stayed there for a funeral instead to gamble. Was impressed with the size and quality of room that I got for under $100.00. Only two issues, refrigerator was not clean when I checked in. Told the front desk in person and there was a man waiting for me by the time got to my room to clean it. This don't have anything really to do with the hotel but the Casino did not have a poker room. But I wasn't there to gamble so it didn't matter but would if I was. Obviously they lower the price to get you to stay there so you go to the casino but its much cheaper than getting a hotel somewhere else where the price for the quality of room would of been about $150 Highly suggest
