Stayed here for 3 nights. Pros They had a family room with a double bed and two single beds in a suite, with two toilets. This was very convenient for our family. The location is a few minutes to bus stops and the Wan Chai shopping area. Cons The building and facilities are old. The elevator is slow. The shower and toilet feel quite old. The breakfast is a small boxed meal and there is no dining room so either you eat it in your room or take it to go. It does not have taxis waiting outside and is more like a 3-star hotel.

The hotel had advertising for an in-house bar next to the elevator on my floor. The downstairs area where the bar used to be was now a storage area. Where's the gym? In the Dorsett. Where's the laundry service? In the Dorsett. Ah well, I got what I paid for and by all observations both the bed, shower and toilet were clean.

Staff service was good. Shuttle service was good and on time. Restaurant was under renovation at the time of my stay, hotel provided breakfast box each day but the food was average. Bathroom probably needs upgrade and there should be a mirror somewhere in the room for make-up purposes for the ladies.

This hotel shares the shuttle service with it's sister hotel Dorsett Wan Chai. The shuttle is a great help as the nearest subway station is about 10 minutes walks away. Cosmo advertised laundry service is available but you actually have to go to Dorsett to use their washers and dryers. It's kind of inconvenient even though it's only about a minute walk away, Once in a while, I could smell cigarette smoke coming out from the ventilaion system, mostly late in the night. Also there is no soap available by the sink, you have to turn around to use the bottle fixed to the wall above the bath tub.

The room was good: small fridge, space to move even with our two big and two small suitcases, daily cleaning, good WiFi . Even though only two lifts, we didn't have to wait long. Free drinking water dispenser in foyer. No small bottles of shampoo, toothbrush etc due to HK legislation . A reasonable number of buses stop in front of the hotel. Tram a three min walk away. MTR (underground) a bit farther away. Free shuttle bus to airport express check-in and few other locations.

This was a great place pre-pandemic, but now the facilities are tired and worn down, plus the dining room (where breakfast buffet used to be served) is now closed. The staff is really great, kind and helpful, but overall the place needs some TLC. I won't be staying there again until it's renovated.

Not sure why it could be called VIP? It is very old and not maintained. 2 cockroaches in 7 days stay. I think the staffs did regular cleaning in rooms but I doubt much is done to the building. Carpet is stained everywhere.

The hotel location is very convenient, a short walk to Time Squares and Causeway Bay. It also shares the same complimentary shuttle bus service as its sister hotel; the Dorsett hotel. The staff are friendly, professional and helpful. The rooms are simple with basic amenities. However, their housekeeping service is in need of great improvement. They don’t have the same house cleaning staff every day and as with every employment, some staff are dedicated to their works but some don’t. Majority of the house keeping staff are not keen on hovering. We spent 4 weeks in the hotel and we only witnessed the same cleaning staff hovered our room in 2 different days. They also seemed to have only one house keeping schedule prior to 12 o'clock each day unless you especially requested for a later housekeeping service.

The hotel corridor on our level smelled mouldy. The bathroom sink top is not very clean. There’s a bath tub but I can feel it’s not very clean, therefore we only took showers during our 9 nights stay. The mugs and rinsing glasses in the room has also got coffee/tea marks on it, hence we drank out of the bottle the entire time. What puts me off the most is, the fridge is not cool enough for my soy milk, a few of our items actually went off from the fridge temperature. What I liked was, it was quiet and has a nice city view. Walkable distance to the trams to Kennedy Town. They also offered breakfast in a box each morning, so that was handy.

The reception area, so our first impression of the hotel was dirty. The floor was dirty and this was noticed as soon as we walked in. Under the edge of the glass on the reception desk was strips of dirt. Our first impression was oh no what have we done. To be fair the rooms were clean and comfy but dated. Cosmo hotel needs to work on their first impression. It wouldnt take a lot to make the reception not look like a dive

I've been coming to this hotel since 2015. It has not been well maintained. Carpets are dirty and unkempt. the room was adequate but not cleaned properly - greasy surfaces, dirty carpets, dirty bathroom fixtures, room not cleaned on 2 mornings out of 3???. No effort made to lay out the resto on the G/F even if it remains closed after COVID. Very sad.

Das war das schlimmste was ich in Hong Kong erlebt hab. Zimmer dreckig, Preis und Leistung passten null zusammen. Frühstücks k aus Pappschachtel und alles kalt. Ein Frechheit! Niemals buchen !!!

スィートルームに5人で宿泊。2LDKにExtraBedひとつで広さは問題無し。ただ、設備や調度が古い、食器が無い、TVも一般チャネルのみ、バスルームお粗末、高級感全く無し、蚊がいた、床の掃除が行き届いていない、それで一泊5万円は如何に円安とは言え高いよな。 ただ、フロントスタッフは皆んな親切で感じ良かった。

Nice hotel. I had a higher floor which had a nice view of Happy Valley. All the staff were helpful.

The room was good: small fridge, space to move even with our two big and two small suitcases, daily cleaning, good WiFi . Even though only two lifts, we didn't have to wait long. Free drinking water dispenser in foyer. No small bottles of shampoo, toothbrush etc due to HK legislation . A reasonable number of buses stop in front of the hotel. Tram a three min walk away. MTR (underground) a bit farther away. Free shuttle bus to airport express check-in and few other locations.

My experience was good in general. The hotel sits in a location walkable to Central, Wanchai and Causeway Bay. It's easy to get to and from there by public transport. However, my room's furnishing was quite dated. Little wear and tear were visible. Furthermore, the bed was quite firm so I didn't sleep as well as in other hotels I stayed in HK. Free drinks (bean-to-cup coffee and tea) were available in the mini-bar on the 5th floor. That was quite nice.

Customer service was lacking, not doing any more than checking in and out, marginally answering questions. Access to the room: - the last night, at 10:30 pm, someone knocked, shouted "housekeeping", unlocked the door and started entering the room (10:30 at night!!) - the next morning, when I went for a walk for breakfast (a couple of hours before check out), I was locked out, key card no longer worked. After going to the front desk about and getting a new card, security escorted me back to the room and acted like I didn't know how to use the keycard. - then about thirty minutes before check out, I heard the lock mechanism on the door...it was resetting. So when I left again, I was locked out. (Thankfully I had everything with me) The hotel was a fine experience before then: nothing bad or extra about it. After the last night and morning, I felt unwelcomed.

Could not reach the hotel prior to arrival to I for of other guests different arrival time which made the check in a pain for them. Asked for the reception to call a taxi for me when checking out and was told no. There’s absolutely zero customer service and the hotel is pretty old, in a bad need of an update.

Very courteous and polite staff. We were allowed early check in and late check out without any hassle. Rooms were clean and hotel is very conveniently located to restaurants and public transport.

The hotel location is very convenient, a short walk to Time Squares and Causeway Bay. It also shares the same complimentary shuttle bus service as its sister hotel; the Dorsett hotel. The staff are friendly, professional and helpful. The rooms are simple with basic amenities. However, their housekeeping service is in need of great improvement. They don’t have the same house cleaning staff every day and as with every employment, some staff are dedicated to their works but some don’t. Majority of the house keeping staff are not keen on hovering. We spent 4 weeks in the hotel and we only witnessed the same cleaning staff hovered our room in 2 different days. They also seemed to have only one house keeping schedule prior to 12 o'clock each day unless you especially requested for a later housekeeping service.

The staff and overall customer service is very good, but the building and some of the rooms are VERY dated. Would advise seeing the room first before settling in. That being said, the staff went above and beyond to make the stay was a good one. Great customer servicing!

Safe and quiet area in Wan Chai, very close to Causeway Bay , Happy Valley racetrack and admiralty. Other than location, i also chose this hotel because it has a bathtub. Great place if you plan to be out most of the time.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Pros They had a family room with a double bed and two single beds in a suite, with two toilets. This was very convenient for our family. The location is a few minutes to bus stops and the Wan Chai shopping area. Cons The building and facilities are old. The elevator is slow. The shower and toilet feel quite old. The breakfast is a small boxed meal and there is no dining room so either you eat it in your room or take it to go. It does not have taxis waiting outside and is more like a 3-star hotel.

The hotel is dated. Though, acceptable cleanliness but if hotel amenities is big on your list, I would not choose to stay here. The hotel is pretty far from Wan Chai MTR station. You can catch bus 10 in front of the hotel which it will eventually take you down to the main street where you can catch MTR. When I took it, it literally stop at each stop, do it took about 10 mins. The hotel offers shuttle but at their sister hotel down the block, still convenient but they only run once an hr. Taxi costed me $300 to the airport in the early morning hours. They do not offer bottled water in the room.

Clean, housekeeping is so good. They provide toiletries, toothbrushes & toothpaste comb. Towels , bottled water, tea ,coffee, security volts , fridge peace and quiet place and very safe. Staff are friendly and helpful just MTR are very far but bus and tram are very accessible, restaurants are near. Definitely stay again next time.

The room was small, outdated and not soundproofed, made the entire stay so stressful of hearing the door slamming noises and Cantonese conversations/cough by neighboring guests especially in the late nights and early mornings. Bathroom was not cleaned enough, smelled murky, had disgusting mold and strange dusty crumble. The location war not as conveniently close to the nearest subway station/bus stop/convince store/shopping mall as expected, especially when carrying luggage. Front clerks/concierge were not helpful, informative or professional.

We had stayed twice for 28 days. The breakfast never changed. Only 3 simple menus rotated twice a week, always the same on Sunday. I was told they will change once a month but it isn’t 😔

Staff service was good. Shuttle service was good and on time. Restaurant was under renovation at the time of my stay, hotel provided breakfast box each day but the food was average. Bathroom probably needs upgrade and there should be a mirror somewhere in the room for make-up purposes for the ladies.

Das war das schlimmste was ich in Hong Kong erlebt hab. Zimmer dreckig, Preis und Leistung passten null zusammen. Frühstücks k aus Pappschachtel und alles kalt. Ein Frechheit! Niemals buchen !!!

Rooms are worn out, I was upgraded as my bathroom towel rail was falling off the wall and room very small. paint peeling of various surfaces..(skirtings etc) they upgraded me wanted to charge extra, I explained the situation and they upgraded me to a room for free,which was nice, bigger but with 2 single beds and both were not stable wobbling about. baby cockroaches found in the room on night 5 and 6 not a good sign, lobby smells of cat pee or something similar every day... and the breakfast was the worst I have ever had no plates no knifes only wooden spoon and fork, when i asked why no knifes? the reply was, 'very dangerous' which is of course ridiculous. and you had to get your 'breakfast from a take away cardboard bowls ONLY... very unpleasant. will never stay here again. good location! can walk to wanchai and causeway bay in a few minutes.
