Fairfield House is a late Georgian House with Victorian and Edwardian features added. The house is decorated throughout in the style of the 1910 Arts and Craft period, with a breakfast room set as a tribute to Charles Rene Macintosh. Located in tranquil gardens, this adult-only country house is a 1-minute walk from the town centre. The property boasts a car park and free WiFi. Dogs can be accommodated on request (see Important Information for details).Built nearly 200 years ago, Fairfield is one of Lakelands original country houses. A continental breakfast is served daily.Guests are offered a high standard of personal service with genuine hospitality in a homely atmosphere.The half acre of secluded, peaceful garden boasts the beautiful scent and colour of wysteria, azealia and camellia in early summer.
