Parking was terrible and really inconvenient. Not enough parking in the motel 6 parking garage. Have a sign that says full because it was difficult to get out of the garage when told it was full.

The parking was hard to find, very small sign, had to drive around block back around before we saw it. I had booked my stay a month or so in advance, there was a note that was effective the day we arrived for increased parking fee, that was a little upsetting, it was one reason i booked there cause of the lowee fee. The front desk staff was friendly. The walls were thin, could hear the people in the next room talking. Fridge didnt want to get cold, no microwave, lumpy pillows but bed was comfortable

The room and bathroom were clean and in good condition, except for the black tape on the floor, im assuming the tape was covering some damage on the floor. The parking is very limited and you have to pay $20 to have access to it.

The only thing I’ll deduct points for is their elevator. It’s painfully slow, and often stops on EVERY floor while you’re on your way up or down. Please get this death trap serviced! 😂😂

Great location near Hollywood. Very close to all attractions, and a 15 minute walk from the Hollywood Bowl. Limited parking garage - make sure you call in advance to save a spot. Clean rooms, excellent hotel.

The floor are very dirty and very squeaky the doors are not sealed properly so you can hear the hallway noise. The toilet is very low to the ground and very close to the tub. If you are on a quick trip and don’t need a expensive room this is the place but be warned this is not a quiet area.

When we arrived, no staff was around for about 15 minutes. There was no seating for guests. The room was not good. The floor had black tape holding it together. The mattress was like sleeping on concrete, and there was a roach in bathroom. Would not stay here again.

It felt very cheap. When walking into the room, we noticed they put duct tape on the floor where the laminate was coming up. We also noticed nicotine stains on the AC unit. The walls were also paper thin and could hear everything in other rooms and hallway. It was the cheapest room in the area so I wasn’t expecting anything fancy but was expecting better than we had.

Just a place to rest your head, nothing fancy. If you need a spot that is 4min walking distance to Hollywood blvd/walk of fame and pretty much close to the main attractions then this place will do. Walls are paper thin and you can hear the neighbors every movement…… there are certain places where you step, you can hear the floor squeaking and this also applies to rooms above you. Like I said, just to rest your head for a good rate and convenient. Max 2 nights

The price is great for the area, it keeps you close so that you can avoid driving. The rooms are okay, the noise though is awful. The walls are thin and the heaviest sleeper can easily be woken by light footfalls that sound like a stampede. Overall, I would still go back.

Room was comfortable. Hot water only available in lobby at 6am for short period, no microwave or kettle in room. Great location only minutes walk to Hollywood star walk. Very noisy as you can hear other guests in hallway and loud noises from street and building amenities. Elevator is slow and stops on wrong floors.

Check-in was quick and easy, and the room itself was spacious with a comfortable bed. I liked the free coffee and tea available from 6:30 AM and the central location made it easy to get around. However, the stay wasn’t without issues. The fridge in the room was loud, the flooring had cellotape in places, and the floorboards creaked so much I could hear every step from the room above and even in the hallways. Most concerning, though, was the constant presence of sketchy individuals loitering outside — it didn’t feel very safe, especially at night. If safety and peace of mind are important to you, I’d think twice before booking here.

The noise levels were really bad, we were woken up through the night multiple times per night, walls are paper thin and people talking & closing doors would wake us, Hotel is in need of an update and some soundproofing. Location is quite good but be aware this area of Hollywood is rough, I wouldn’t walk around at night alone. You get plenty of fresh towels & the cleaners are in regularly & clean the room well but the decor is old. Staff were friendly & there is free tea & coffee available. WiFi is also provided with good speed. Price was reasonable for West Hollywood

The staff was fantastic and the rooms were very clean the only negative is the rooms were a little beat up the flooring was taped down and was a bit of a hazard to walk over also there was no microwave in the room even though we were told there would be. Other than that It was a good stay over all

The cleanliness exceeded my expectations. Everything was super clean, the rooms the lobby the hallway. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is exceptional with only a short walk to the heart of Hollywood Blvd. Some great eating options around the area too. The only thing I can fault is that the walls, floors, doors, ceilings are very thin and I could hear every movement up above and also what I assume are the longer staying patrons were very loud between the hours of 2-4am. Shouting down hallways and slamming doors. Other than that a great experience.

The service was mostly fantastic, with the exception of the old Filipino man front desk staff - hostile, rude, obstructionist behaviour - the rest of the staff were super lovely. Very large room, super clean - only thing is I couldn’t get a good night’s sleep, day and night it sounded like people were stomping on the ceiling (their floor) - requesting a top floor room may resolve this issue.

Room was clean. Staff was great. Stayed for 3 nights and had to have my room key reprogrammed 6 times, so that was annoying, but the staff was helpful every time. Every night was a bit sketchy in front of the hotel, but you are near Hollywood Blvd so it was to be expected. Overall it was a decent place to stay. .

The clerk checking me in laughed and shook his head at me when I didn't understand his question. This really happened! It felt like a joke, I haven't had anyone respond to me like that since I was a kid, let alone from someone in customer service. I didn't take it personally since it was so childish it was mostly funny, but if the person they have to greet customers has such bad people skills, I wonder about what other dysfunction is going on in that place. I won't be back to find out! There are plenty of other options in the area. I will say, the garage attendant and the person checking us out were quite friendly, with normal people skills that one would expect from a business. What a strange experience!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had some issues upon arrival with our credit card. Nevertheless staff was very patient and helped us to change the booking accordingly. Compared to other Motel6 I think it is a smaller one but it made the stay feel very comfy for us. The motel is close to the Hollywood Boulevard, although the street os not very clean and lots of homeless people linger around at night. 5 stars anyways because of all the above mentioned. Would come back anytime.

It’s a half block off Hollywood blvd definitely a few questionable people and open drug use on the street, but the hotel was clean and quite decent for the price and location. Parking is an issue, very limited and they were sold out when we arrived I was told they sell it first come first served starting at 6am,. They do have a garage they recommend people go to but it doesn’t have in/out privileges …. I chose to use the park mobile app and reserved parking about a block away

Motel 6 Hollywood is an affordable hotel option that is walkable and smack dab in the middle of Hollywood and all its top tourist destinations including Grauman's Chinese Theatre, El Capitan Theater, Dolby Theater, etc. Also close to the Metro subway station (which conveniently takes you all over Los Angeles including to Downtown, LAX Airport, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and more!) Motel 6 is also within walking distance of 2 LA Fitness gym, Veggie Grill, Trader Joe's, Target's (which has a well stocked grocery store), Hollywood Farmer's Market (on the weekends), restaurants galore!

Neighbourhood was dirty with increased homelessness. Property was centrally located. Staff had to reprogram room keys daily (that was a huge inconvenience because they should have worked for the entire stay). If you are looking for a basic room for sleeping in Hollywood it is very affordable and convenient

The room was very clean, however the lighting was overall quite dark. Was very surprised that there was no kettle or hair dryer supplied. One late evening, I had hoped to eat a cup of noodles and needed some hot water. The machine in the communal area was locked, so I went to the reception to ask for some hot water. To my surprise they said none was available and to instead try putting my paper cup in the microwave. Considering the risk of fire, I did no such thing and just ate the noodles without any water. Extremely disappointing and unhelpful to say the least

Room was comfortable. Hot water only available in lobby at 6am for short period, no microwave or kettle in room. Great location only minutes walk to Hollywood star walk. Very noisy as you can hear other guests in hallway and loud noises from street and building amenities. Elevator is slow and stops on wrong floors.

Location is very convenient and they have parking for an extra $20 a night. Elevator can take a while. If you’re not carrying heavy luggage stairs might be faster. Was told there was free coffee available in the mornings but machine was broken.

Motel is in an excellent location. It's clean, looks like efforts at updating the facility have been taken. There are no amenities, except for a refrigerator and TV in the room and a mini soap cake in the bathroom. No coffee maker, no microwave (there is a spot where it used to be). The worst coffee I've ever tasted is offered in the lobby for 3 hours in the morning. Parking is extra $20.00 per night for hotel guests. Being just a block off Hollywood Blvd the place is noisy at night.

Road outside the hotel is NARROW. Parking is $30/day. One load of laundry cost us $7.50. No free breakfast. Free coffee is only until 10am. No microwave or coffee maker in room (thus costing more $ in food). Not a great view - we got lucky with a 4th floor room. Noisy neighbors/traffic on the weekend. Parking filled up fast on Friday night. Roomservice only had expensive pizza options. The delivery app had no options. Elevator is slow.

You have to pay for parking $20 daily, there's NO FREE BREAKFAST well coffee and juice. Bring your own personal stuff because they dont have anything in the rooms, if you need shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc you have to ask for it. Now the location is good you're a few minutes walking from the walk of fame.

For the area, the hotel was clean. Rooms are very basic, but clean. I forgot a hair dryer, but they had one at the front desk I borrowed daily. They have an app to download that offers some free food delivery from certain areas around the motel. I tried using it, however it said the McDonald’s system was down and unable to get our food. It seems like it would be a benefit, but I would suggest ordering before hand, we got home later in the evening from a trip to universal and it was a 1-2 hour wait for food. We ended up just ordering from Uber eats. Overall great stay for the price!

Pros: Comfortable mattress Cold AC Hot coffee Large mini fridge in room (no freezer) Very walkable to many attractions Cons: Key cards repeatedly didn’t work (traveling up and down multiple times on a very janky elevator) Had to switch rooms due to maintenance needing to repair a sink leak: totally understandable, but we were put in a room with flooring that was literally taped together and the door wouldn’t close without massive force (inadvertently left with it unlatched) Cockroach in the bathroom Horribly uncomfortable pillows No coffee or microwave in room No toiletries other than a bar of soap No blanket/pillow/towel delivery when calling the desk (you’ll need to ride that lovely elevator again) No real creamer for the lobby coffee, and it’s only available until 10:00am

What made this stay so amazing, was the late night front desk attendant. He went out of his way to assist us, make sure we were taken care all with the personality of a TV character. Seriously, this guy knows customer service. Motel 6, give him a raise. It is Motel 6, not the Four Seasons. The prices are extremely reasonable, the location is solid and again, the staff is what makes this hotel worth staying at.

Great budget option in the heart of the Hollywood tourist district. In walking distance to Walk of Fame, Chinese Theater, Hollywood & Highland, Pantages, the Capitol building, and conveniently located in between two Metro stops . Furniture is worn out & dated and there isn’t much in the amenities department but the sheets & bathroom are clean.

Parking is horrible. The vending machine everything sold-out couldn't get anything to drink. They don't tell you when you make the reservation that you are not allowed to have visitors to your room
