Royal Inn Beach Hutchinson Island

This hotel is not what the pictures show. We were shocked when we drove up...we thought we had the wrong hotel. It was so run down, smelled strong of deodorizer, cracks seen, felt unsafe. The room was dark with no ocean view like shown in the pictures. We called Hotels.com immediately. She listened to our complaints and our request for a refund. She said the hotel could only give a refund. She called the hotel and they said no. We left very upset at the condition and no refund for false advertising. It is hard to trust pictures now from any hotel that is not a chain hotel. We have never had a problem like this with other Hotel.com hotels.

Wish there was breakfast

A great location, balcony looking out over ocean. Spotless room with microwave, keureg and fridge. Easy access and check in was friendly, made suggestions where to eat. listen to music etc

The facility is very old and in desperate need for updates. The rooms were not clean. The TV system is streaming only. I could not get any network stations for sporting events. The "ocean view" is peek a boo at best.The staff was friendly enough however I would not stay here again.

Location location location…. enough said!
