Upon arrival, the staff was unhelpful and dismissive. When I asked about parking due to limited spaces, I was rudely told to park on the street or told to wait for housekeeping to leave, "if they even do." ??? Very confusing. The room had an unpleasant odor and was old and dingy. Given the town\'s closure on the holiday, I was forced to stay here, but I strongly advise booking elsewhere.

A very cool little motel, an old classic, but with good updates: a wide array of snacks offered in the room, a friendly wine/beer bar across the lawn, very clean, a wonderful bed, fluffy towels! And right across the street from a world class restaurant, Bell's. Can't beat it!

Loved everything about this place! Centered right in town. The room was very cute and convenient with a fun Boho Vibe. We enjoyed the on-site wine room, the games on the lawn and sitting around the firepit at night. Perfect weekend.

This is not what I would call a fancy hotel, but it was so comfortable, but I enjoyed every minute of staying there.The staff was incredibly courteous and welcoming, and very helpful. When I went into my room, I noticed it was absolutely spotless. The location is very convenient I was right in the middle of the little town. I would definitely plan another trip there!

Alamo Motel and Los Alamos is a wonderful place to go and relax. The room was really clean. Claw foot tub was huge, room for two! Staff is very friendly. The town is small and quiet, everything is within walking distance. The Bodega is a awesome place to hang out and enjoy the company of a loved one! Highly recommend this town and motel for a relaxing get away.

Retro vibe motel. It fits the aesthetic for city. Easy walk to neighborhood shopping and food. Staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, you can hear all the traffic driving past motel all night. I had a standard room. The shower and bathroom are very tight fit, clean but tiny (literally only able to store toothbrush in bathroom-no place for anything else). My room had no place to sit beside the bed and stools in the kitchen area. The motel had placed items to buy on the bench in the room so no place to sit. Small closet for you to hang clothing but no drawers or other place to unpack your items. The fire pit and open area in the photos are what you will enjoy in this space.

Despite the fact that the room seemed very bare bones when we opened the door, after using it we learned that the bed was amazingly comfortable and the pillows as well. There were tables on BOTH sides of the bed and lamps as well--something many name brand places don't seem as concerned about. The one thing lacking were electrical outlets on both sides of the bed to plug in computers and phones. There was one accesssable plug on one side of the bed and one under the TV.

The Alamo is good value for the area. The motel is an updated flash from the past. It’s located in a wonderful location. The heating is inadequate if it is cold. Be prepared.

This little place was clean and the beds were comfortable! There were a couple of things that could have been better. 1. Better lights in the room. It was very dim. I couldn’t read my book. 2. The rug on the floor was rolling up on the edge and my foot kept catching on it. 3. The toilet stopped working on the lay morning. They were all just annoying. Not horrible.

I have stayed here before. The beds are super comfortable, heavy comforter, slept great. Only problem I had again was the heater was a little tricky, couldn’t get it to warm up, was very cold in room in morning. Otherwise nice stay, will stay there again

We’re booked two rooms for our family of 6 and it was perfect! The rooms are beautifully decorated yet simple and chic. The tub is amazing and the bedding is superb! Will definitely return!

Overall it was great. Super cute place. Only issue is the bathroom is SO outdated and the shower barely worked. Also issues with the A/C. The front desk didn’t seem to care at all. Other than that it was incredible.

Quick overnight trip to visit my son. Perfect to meet up, quick drink at the bar, walk over to eat and walk across the street for breakfast. Cute, cute town and the Motel was a perfect fit. Employees are super friendly too.

I love this hotel. It’s my go to when driving from LA to San Fran for a fun stop. Great little town, off the beaten path but super close to the 101. The staff is amazing. So helpful. Don’t miss this little gem !

Its not a chain Hotel and you'd probably miss it driving by during the day if you didn't notice their red neon sign which only comes on at night (obv), but that'a what sets it apart. The rooms are so well appointed and cozy and the bed's are the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The bathrooms could use a bit of a refresh but were clean and not an issue at all. The place has a very southern, rustic feel. The staff are super hospitable and curteous. Over-all a very very good exeprience for us. Wud definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying at The Alamo Hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We loved the room, the location to restaurants and shops. Such a nice experience. We will be back!

We really enjoyed staying at The Alamo Hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We loved the room, the location to restaurants and shops. Such a nice experience. We will be back!

This is not what I would call a fancy hotel, but it was so comfortable, but I enjoyed every minute of staying there.The staff was incredibly courteous and welcoming, and very helpful. When I went into my room, I noticed it was absolutely spotless. The location is very convenient I was right in the middle of the little town. I would definitely plan another trip there!

A very cool little motel, an old classic, but with good updates: a wide array of snacks offered in the room, a friendly wine/beer bar across the lawn, very clean, a wonderful bed, fluffy towels! And right across the street from a world class restaurant, Bell's. Can't beat it!

Quick overnight trip to visit my son. Perfect to meet up, quick drink at the bar, walk over to eat and walk across the street for breakfast. Cute, cute town and the Motel was a perfect fit. Employees are super friendly too.

Plywood floors, plywood table, plywood side tables. Electric kettle and cups but you have to pay for tea bags and coffee. Very dim lighting. Grounds very nice but room decor disappointing. Would not return

Loved the easy parking and room access. Firepit was awesome as well. Fun motel. Great access to Bell Restaurant across the street. Improve: Need a small table in bathroom to place toiletry items. Coffee machine in the room would be nice. Coffee in the main office was cold and not good. Small paper cup is not good either. Had to walk down the street to get coffee. We couldn't figure out the wall heater. We left it off.

Alamo Motel is conveniently located across the street from Bell's on Bell, one of the most delicious places in the area. The market next door is incredibly fun and well-stocked with "exotic" snacks. We were here during the christmas holiday when most of the shops and restaurants were closed. We found a friendly staff at Alamo Hotel, adorable wine bar, delicious morning coffee, miles and miles of quiet roads to ride our bikes on. Our hotel room is charming. I miss the bed and pillows to this day. The giant cacti outside of our room were the best morning cheers. Definitely want to come back again, when more things are open.

The place was cute and it had a wonderful outdoor area. The bathroom was odd… Very tiny and no outlets for the hairdryer. As a matter of fact, very few outlet outlets throughout the room. Also, they charge for coffee pods in your room, but you can get free coffee in the lobby. There was also a big claw foot bathtub in a separate space from the toilet and shower, but they charged a lot for small bottles of bath salts, and bubble bath. Other than that, we enjoyed the hotel and may perhaps even stay again if we can get a room with a bigger bathroom with outlets.

Loved everything about this place! Centered right in town. The room was very cute and convenient with a fun Boho Vibe. We enjoyed the on-site wine room, the games on the lawn and sitting around the firepit at night. Perfect weekend.

As always, one of the best motel experiences in all of California. Beautiful grounds, beautiful rooms, great staff, great place to enjoy some wine, a water fountain/pond, and an outdoor wood-burning fire pit.!

Very charming retro hotel. I was please they have modern "mini-split" AC units in the rooms. Very quiet and efficient. There was also a small refrigerator which was convenient. The hotel bar serves wine and beer. The patio area was enjoyable in the evenings. Fantastic restaurants just across the street - Bell's and Pico, both top notch. The next door market has just about anything you may have forgotten. Then there is Bob's Well Bread down the street for breakfast or bakery good. Plus other local restaurants I'm looking forward to trying on my next trip though Los Alamos.

Very nice property and great room. The only things that I could have used were better blackout drapes and a mini-fridge in the room. The drapes just did not block enough light to allow me to sleep well. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and staff were helpful and friendly. It's in a great location right off 101 but in a quiet little town, right next to a small grocery store and across the street from a restaurant. Also has ev chargers in town walking distance from the hotel.
