Résidence Le Sun Valley

We booked the hotel in good faith via hotels.com for a family ski holiday but we arrived in the resort at 10pm in freezing snow conditions to find that the hotel was closed for the whole week we had booked. We were left with no accommodation for the night and if it had not been for some people allowing us to sleep on their floor we would have likely frozen to death !!

Happy with location. Room was good size. Quiet. Good facilities

All good except pool and spa were not ready for the first week of the season. Staff nice, room was good. Easy assess to ski.

La piscine et le spa sont compris dans la location, c'est top. Par contre ce n'est pas surveillé et malheureusement il y a des abus de la part de certains vacanciers.

Arrived after formal check-in time but our keys had been left in a safe, providing us with easy access to our apartment. Apartment was spacious with two bathrooms and a separate toilet. Beds ready made and a few little extras (dishwasher tablets, washing liquid, shower gels, etc.) to get us started, plus plenty of fresh towels. Beds comfortable with extra pillows, if needed. Kitchen well stocked with everything needed to make an easy meal. Location wise - ski in/ski out from rear of property, bus stop outside residence and a small supermarket 100m away. On site - swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room available until 8pm, plus bar and restaurant serving reasonably priced, good quality food and take away, which we took advantage of a couple of times. Check out was straightforward - a quick inspection of the property and then left our keys in a check-out box. Would we stay again? Definitely.
