Stoos is a tiny and peaceful, car free holiday resort, at an altitude of 1300 m, in the heart of central Switzerland. It's reachable by funicular from Schwyz-Schlattli and by cable car from Morschach. The hotel is situated a few hundered meters from the top stations. Main attractions, like Fronalpstock cable car and a Wellness area, hiking trails and the ski area are at less than 200 m. Lake Lucerne and it's boat cruises, The Swiss Knife Museum, Schwyz, Muotathal with Hölloch cave or worldfamous Rigi-Mountain are reachable in less than 30 min. From the south on the motorway A2, take the exit n° 36 Flüelen on the level of Altdorf, continue as far as Schwyz and then follow the instructions above. Or turn right at Morschach until the cable-car base station. Free parking spaces at both stations. In public transport: take a train until Schwyz, then the bus until Schlattli-Talstation and then the Funicular up to Stoos.
