The only real issue was the parking. Street parking only which meant a decent walk usually. If you don’t have a rental then it would be better.

This was a once off. We thought location was a factor. It turned out to be not as expected. On our first night, there was music in the bar - directly under our room (1) This went on until 00.05. We were told we had quiet room! The room was vibrating with the noise. After which hordes of drunken revellers rolled out onto the street. Shouting and yelling went on for some time. There appeared to be no police prescence. If we were to go to Carlingford again... and that's a big IF - we would stay well outside the town.

The hotel is actually lovely and we had two generally very pleasant nights. The only downside was there was a bit of a smell from the shower waste water pipes which despite the best efforts of the housekeeping staff was not fully resolved.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From beginning to end of our stay it was impeccable. The hotel is spotless and comfortable. The staff are efficient and friendly. The food is second to none. It’s no surprise it’s hard to secure a room because it’s always fully booked. Now I know why 😊😊

This hotel is beautiful, and in an adorable village. The people were so incredibly friendly. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was delicious as were the drinks. The beds were also very comfortable! Would absolutely stay here again.

We loved this hotel and the town of Carlingford. We were able to check in a little early as it was our first night after flying in from the States. The hotel was great and a number of pubs were just steps away. Very nice!

The staff were really polite and helpful. Breakfast was brilliant and was flexible if you wanted something not quite on the menu. We were there at the weekend when the disco runs till 2 on the Saturday but we were warned of this beforehand so for us was not a real problem.

The staff were really polite and helpful. Breakfast was brilliant and was flexible if you wanted something not quite on the menu. We were there at the weekend when the disco runs till 2 on the Saturday but we were warned of this beforehand so for us was not a real problem.

Hotel room was clean, bright, spacious with a great big bed and lovely bathroom- great shower. Staff are very nice . We were really lucky and got street parking right outside the door

The property was beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back for a visit. Location is A+++. Absolutely fantastic!

Nice hotel over the bar. There was live music the night we stayed but it wasn’t so loud that you couldn’t sleep. Lots of locals in the bar watching the band. Very enjoyable stay!
