Alessandra made our stay lovely she always went above and beyond. If we asked her a question she was always willing to give us suggestions. She never made us feel like we were bothering her. The breakfast was very good and convenient. The appliances in the laundry room need to seriously be updated. The room was fair but could use soap for the kitchen and kitchen towel Uncertain if I would stay there again but would look into another hotel in their chain.

A very good hotel for families of older children. The rooms are clean, cool in hot weather and family friendly with a kitchenette. With a supermarket 5 mins walk from the hotel, it makes it a cost effective stay in Rome. The kitchenette lacks a few essentials that have been available in similar hotels stayed in prior. For example, you need more cutlery, no classes or larger mugs for tea, no chopping boards and minimal cooking utensils. You are allowed to ask for some at reception, but they should be made available if you offer a kitchenette. No dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid or sponges (basics that should be there). The staff are lovely and friendly, but there were a couple of younger male staff on the desk that didn’t seem interested in our general questions about transport and were more interested in their phones. We had a bad noise complaint with constant banging and bombing from our neighbour for two nights into the early morning. I sent a message down complaining as it was disturbing our daughter and we couldn’t sleep, but our complaint was not dealt with or acknowledged. The bar was never open whilst we were there, which was a shame. The area has a good supermarket, a couple of places that serve pizza and a nice restaurant 2 mins walk from the hotel. The bus route into the centre of Ancient Rome is directly opposite the hotel (express bus number 30). A very clean hotel, perfect for families. Nice breakfast. We would stay there again.

Excellent staff with excellent service. Would recommend to anyone who's visiting Rome. Great location with awesome eats nearby. Very clean and spacious rooms. Despite Expedia saying there's not, there are elevators (10 floors as per front desk). Breakfast was great and had a variety of options including fresh and tasty fruit.

Fantastic hotel 25 minutes from FMO. Service was very good. Parking was 3 euros close to the hotel on weekdays .

Det kom ett störande visslande ljud från AC:n varannan minut i båda rummen vi bodde i, så när vi listat ut var ljudet kom ifrån stängde vi av den. Men det hade varit jobbigt om det varit varmare väder. De borde investera i möbeltassar då det hördes rakt igenom golven när folk flyttade möbler (vilket de av någon anledning gjorde ofta och sent vår första natt – så mycket att vi behövde byta rum efter första natten). Även i andra rummet hördes det. Det fanns bara duschgel i första rummet och inget schampo. Vi frågade om schampo men de hade bara duschgel. Har inte varit med om att det saknats schampo på andra hotell. Receptionen var hjälpsam, inte minst Nicolas var väldigt tillmötesgående med rumsbytet. Det går att ta sig till stan på ca 15 minuter med buss, men hade jag haft bättre koll på Rom hade jag bokat något närmare centrum då hotellet låg ganska avsides från våra planerade besöksmål. Det var också flera övergivna hus strax intill hotellet. Är du i staden på ett intensivt turistbesök och planerar att promenera eller åka kommunalt så skulle jag rekommendera att boka något mer centralt. Skönt med kyl och micro på rummet. Snålt portionerat med te, färre än antalet nätter. Bara vattenkokare och ingen espressomaskin på rummet, vilket jag förväntat mig utifrån bilderna (en detalj, inte så viktigt). Hotellet i sig var annars väldigt fräscht. Vi testade inte frukosten så jag kan inte uttala mig om den. Smidigt att man kunde tvätta och torktumla mot en avgift på någon €.

The hotel had all modern accomodations, staff was so helpful and friendly. Got a parking spot, in the underground garage. If you choose to do the same be aware there are alot of columns and its tight.So need to be a good driver, have a small car, and full insurance on your rental. Breakfast was excellent. I chose not to include breakfast but when i saw the buffet breakfast i paid the 15 euros, well worth it. For a visit to Rome, cant go wrong booking this hotel.

Комната просторная и уютная, есть чайник, чай в пакетиках, чашки и кофе машина , но капсул не было(.есть микроволновка, холодильник и посудомойка) хотя посуды нет 😅 Что меня расстроило, то что каждый день на завтрак стаканы были грязные, не приятно, посуду моют плохо( мы останавливались на 3 ночи.

Very clean with very friendly accommodating staff. Both days we arrived several hours before check in and they allowed us to check in early so we could go out into the city to see the sites.

this Hotel Colombo was a truly wonderful place to stay. The room was always kept very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and of excellent quality. We stayed in Rome for three days, and thanks to this hotel, our trip became an even more special and memorable experience. Everything was well maintained, calm, and pleasant, which allowed us to relax and fully enjoy our time in the city. We sincerely appreciate the warm hospitality and would be very happy to stay here again in the future.

clean room great breakfast

The hotel was new. And near supermarket and local transport so it was easy to get to town and buy essentials. The front desk staff was nice, helpful and well informed. They had answers to all questions. The area was peaceful Housekeeping was a disaster. They never took out used mugs and didn't clean floors. No refill in of tea and coffee. They said to my kids they must pay if they want mugs removed. Front desk never mentioned any about such costs.

area looks a bit sketchy but it’s safe, location is great, 5 minutes walk to bus stop and then 20-25 min bus to city centre - colosseo - trevi fountain etc, staff is great, room size is good and clean however, mattress is terrible tbh and the bedding isn’t the greatest, would recommend for 2-3 days but if you staying longer you will get back pain because of the mattress

Room poorly laid out, Lobby/front desk almost non-existent, and Wi Fi was absolutely horrible.

Everything was OK but we were constantly disturbed by the neighbours.

I wished this review allowed me to add images. This was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our Europe trip. We got an upgrade to a studio apartment whichbwas so spacious it could hold 12 persons with ease. There was a dining table with two chairs and a workstation, a longe bed/couch. The bathroom had a urinal seperate from the toilet and a walk in shower. So clean and quiet. The rooms are energy efficient so the air conditioner stops and restarts from time to time. There was fridge and microwave in the room along with a dishwasher and the usual amenities but no iron. The staff was amazing at check in and at check out. So friendly and engaged in convo with you as well as helpful when asked questions about directions or how to navigate the transport. The breakfast buffet was amazing too. The selection of options and juice was amazing and they even had desserts. This was a hidden gem. Its a good distance from the airport but closer to the city center so the ride to main attractions in Rome is not far by bus

Overall, very good. Though I thought it would be closer to city centre. About a 10 to 15 minute walk to Metro, then easy to get around on Metro. For me the bed was very hard. Not my preference, but this was good clean hotel.

The fridge was very noisy, you can hear the neighbours as well. But fair service for price. Staff are lovely.

The hotel was comfy and clean. The room was small and basic, however it was well worth the price, considering the cost of other hotels in Rome. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with lots of choice which was a nice surprise. However, the best thing about this hotel was the service. The front desk staff and the staff we met over breakfast we so friendly and helpful. In particular, a staff member named Juan who was at the front desk did SO much to help us when we were having car problems, he ended up being the sole reason our sightseeing day in Rome was not ruined. He went above and beyond for us and we appreciated it so much. I would come back to this hotel again in a heartbeat because of their great customer service.

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and offered gluten-free options upon request. All staff were helpful and kind. Excellent 3 night stay. Very convenient location, especially if you're planning on traveling by bus. Hotel staff all very helpful and accommodating. Check-in & check out was easy. They also allowed us to leave our bags with them, free of charge, until our room was ready. 10/10 would stay again.

Waited 5 hours for our room wouldn’t let us check in early when in 4 other countries we were able to check in. We were so exhausted. We slept on the couch by the elevators until check in at 3 even though we got there at 10 am. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night 3/5 nights people smoking in their rooms apparently they can’t figure out the room the people are smoking in. The staff didn’t seem to care when I asked and not apologetic. The only staff member who went out of his way to apologize and actually cared was the front desk person “Lucky”. Also if you don’t get down right at 7 am you can forget about getting breakfast because it’s all gone and they don’t refill anything even though breakfast is supposedly until 10 am. We got down at 8 and everything was gone or picked over. Breakfast was mediocre it consisted of hot dogs scrambled eggs, some soggy vegetables. Granola and yogurt only things worth having. Bed was like sleeping in a sheet of ply wood. So I guess it’s a good upgrade if you have been sleeping on cement prior. So not a lot of sleep happened. Wouldn’t rebook again.

The hotel appears to be recently renovated, but the service provided certainly needs improvement!

Staff were fantastic and very helpful. The 30 and 160 buses had good links into town. Breakfast was of a good standard too and very good value . One suggestion I would make is to use duvets wihh th covers rather than sheets in either side as they move during the night. Highly recommend for a family as the rooms are spacious and a good pricing level.

En hotel muy bueno, y sobre todo el personal qué en todo momento atienden con una gran sonrisa y mucha amabilidad, en nuestro caso, Debora nos ayudó muchísimo con nuestras dudas, su atención fué magnífica y además de ser una gran persona. Estamos muy agradecidos.

Pésimo servicio en la recepción, me cancelaron sin previa anticipación una de mis habitaciones, gracias a hoteles.com me lograron reubicar si no hubieramos quedado en la nada.

Hôtel très propre, personnel parlant français et très sympathique. Le petit déjeuner varié et bon, vraiment ravis de notre séjour. Seul bémol, nous avions pris une carte de métro pour tout notre séjour, mais celui-ci était un peu loin à pied, en revanche tous les bus passent devant l’hôtel.

The property is outside the downtown area, so you need to take a taxi or bus to get to attractions, but it's safe and quiet due to the same reason.

Overall we had a very pleasant experience. The biggest highlights were how clean and safe we felt during my stay. While the surrounding area may look a bit sketchy at first glance, I never felt unsafe, and the hotel itself is well-maintained and secure. The room was comfortable, and the air conditioning was a huge plus during the hot summer days. It made a big difference after coming back from long outings in the sun. The included breakfast was decent, nothing fancy, but it had the basics to start the day off right. One of the best parts was the location in terms of convenience. Although it's a bit outside the main tourist hub, there's a bus stop within easy walking distance that made getting around super simple. Plus, being slightly removed from the center meant quieter nights and better sleep, perfect if you're looking to avoid the noise of more crowded areas. All in all, a solid option for travelers who prioritize comfort, quiet, and convenience.

Clean property with easy buses into tourist areas. Let down is the beds are hard and the area outside the hotel (ie. not within their control) is very dirty.

Gostamos muito da nossa estadia, funcionários muito simpáticos e acolhedores. O pequeno almoço era muito variado e com qualidade. No primeiro dia tivemos um problema com o nosso WC, que foi prontamente resolvido. Fomos transferidos para um quarto bastante melhor. Transportes para o centro da cidade muito perto e funcionam muito bem. Uma experiência para repetir no futuro.

Ótima estadia e custo benefício. Fácil acesso a ônibus, que atende com tranquilidade para acesso aos pontos turísticos. O hotel está novo, aparentemente passou por reforma recente. Apenas o café da manhã que poderia oferecer mais opções. No geral, foi uma excelente escolha.

Le personnel offre un excellent service client. L'hotel est propre et les chambres egalement. Suggestions: Fer à repasser dans les chambres serait ideal. Parce qu'un fer pour l'ensemble de l'immeuble, pas très utile. Varier le dejeuner. Il est identique chaque matin. Offrir plus de variété. L'hotel est situé sur un boulevard principale mais offre une belle insonorisation. Calme et relaxant. Les transports se font bien pour les sites a visiter mais la distance est de 25 minutes en moyenne. Si vous prenez le temps de marcher, 1 heure pour vous rendre à pied au Vatican mais de belles decouvertes des différents quartiers à la marche

Quarto impecável! Muito limpo, microondas, secador, máquina de café, água de cortesia, cama maravilhosa, quarto espaçoso, tudo novinho! Café da manhã maravilhoso. Recomendo! Não é no centro, porém, acesso fácil ao ponto de ônibus e Uber não é caro.

Hotel und Personal ausgesprochen gut und sehr, sehr freundlich. Frühstück hat leider neben diesen guten Sachen völlig versagt. So ein kleines Buffet hab ich mein Lebtag noch nicht gesehen, aufgefüllt wurde nur mangelhaft, wenn alle, dann alle. Das Frühstück war leider so schlecht, dasss das Hotel alleine nur deshalb nie wieder in frage kommt.

Nice space, lighting is great, substantial breakfast with wide choice

Excellent rapport qualité prix, chambres spacieuse et propres. Un peu excentré, d'ou son prix, mais très bien desservi par les transports en commun. petit déjeuner de qualité et beaucoup de choix. le réceptionniste parlait français et de plus était extrêmement sympathique. Vraiment rien à redire.
