Lovely stay at the Anner. Special birthday note and slice of cake for my mum on arrival which was a really nice touch. Fantastic large spotless clean pool, but some serious work needed on the dressing rooms to get them up to 4* standard. Dinner was delicous and service top notch. Breakfast however was just chaotic, seating should be assigned. 1 person at a 4 person table. Traffic light system is there to guide you to busy times but I had to ask twice for the continental area to be replenished, no fruit, no meats/cheese and staff seemed to be run off their feet so clearly need more of them or perhaps a little more training for the morning crew. Just small tweaks and it would be even better! Beautiful clean room, comfy beds and really nice bathroom, I will definitely return again and would recommend a stay there.

Reception greeted with a smile. Room was well maintained, spotlessly clean as was the newly renovated bathroom. Staff were friendly and polite. Excellent breakfast with a multiple food choice . Swimming Pool, Steam and Sauna was nice and relaxing. Will definitely rebook. Well done to all Staff

A very pleasant hotel, about a 15 minute walk from the town centre. There is ample parking at the hotel. Our room was spotless with excellent bathroom amenities. The room and a double bed and two singles but there was still room to sit and it was comfortable. We were attending the wedding and the food was excellent and the staff friendly, efficient and professional. I would have no hesitation staying here again.

It is an excellent hotel, beautifully landscaped. My complaints are minor, no ac in the room and even with portable fan, the room was very hot. So many flies in the room, I guess housekeeper left the window open for fresh air and i had to kill more than 30 mosquitoes, flies all night

Really enjoyed the stay. Cleaning was top class. You must have really great trustworthy staff to be going in making the beds every day and tidying the rooms. Beds comfy too. Friendly staff. Shampoo, Conditioner and body wash is very nice. Breakfast was really good would but the sausages were the most bland sausages I tasted on the whole trip, like the ones you get in England.

We had a good stay at this hotel. We had a good sized room with a standard double and two single beds. We were glad of the extra bed as we have a king bed at home and the double seemed very small, and it was not comfortable either. The room was clean but the furniture is somewhat dated. The public areas are clean and with the Christmas decorations up - it looked lovely. They were unable to make me a decaf latte at breakfast.

I reserved a single room and was very surprised to have a queen bed. The room was well appointed and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. I felt very safe as a solo traveler. The restaurant inside the hotel was absolutely wonderful-ate there twice during my stay. I would definitely stay here again and hope I gave the opportunity to return!

I didn’t intend to stay in Southern Ireland initially but then my itinerary changed. I was lucky to get a last minute booking for a few days! It is located in a relatively quiet city. But it is a venue that hosts weddings and parties so be aware that you will hear some great music at night! Everyone working at the front desk were so incredibly friendly! This location isn’t a far drive from the Rock of Cashel. Definitely planning to stay here again in the future!

Nice quality food in bar menu and breakfast was good quality well served. My room was an uograde to A mini suite with additional hallway on a corner plot, so very quiet. Only down side was the WiFi in room was pretty weak and slow. Needed. Wi-Fi booster. Rest of hotel was fine.

Spent two nights here. Its a nice place to visit with no down sides that i could see. Check in was quick. Wifi in the room was good. The room was nice and clean and comfortable. Had dinner and breakfast both days and all were excellent. Service was excellent. Was here a year ago and returned as i l8ked the place

We arrived late after a long day of driving and no restaurants were open and they would not heat up some food in the microwave for us, manager denied, so my young son had cold spaghetti. For luxury hotel it was lacking customer obsession. Epic fail. Beds were like sleeping on plywood too.

The room and a double bed and two singles but there was still room to sit and it was comfortable. We were attending the wedding and the food was excellent and the staff friendly, efficient and professional. I would have no hesitation staying here again.

Annet Hotel is outside of Thurles, close to Cashel and a bit of a distance from Kilkenny. The hotel is nice and the restaurants in the hotel are delicious. Overall a lovely stay.

I didn’t intend to stay in Southern Ireland initially but then my itinerary changed. I was lucky to get a last minute booking for a few days! It is located in a relatively quiet city. But it is a venue that hosts weddings and parties so be aware that you will hear some great music at night! Everyone working at the front desk were so incredibly friendly! This location isn’t a far drive from the Rock of Cashel. Definitely planning to stay here again in the future!

A very pleasant hotel, about a 15 minute walk from the town centre. There is ample parking at the hotel. Our room was spotless with excellent bathroom amenities. The room and a double bed and two singles but there was still room to sit and it was comfortable. We were attending the wedding and the food was excellent and the staff friendly, efficient and professional. I would have no hesitation staying here again.

Apon arrival I was informed the pool is not open to children after 6:15 which was extremely disappointing after a 4 hour journey. The reason given adults are doing swimming lessons surely a 4 star hotel is not the place for swimming lessons. The Wifi signal is extremely poor and difficult to connect to so I rang reception to be told the guest wifi is the only one available. This connection did not work for the first night of our stay. The restaurant was also very disappointing. Two groups of people that arrived after mybfamily and that ordered after us were served before us. The childrens pizzas were not even cut up there was merely a mark on them wherevthey should have been cut. The one of the pizzas was burned underneath. The restaurant staff were extremely unattentative even asked if we wanted cutlery spoons for my childrens ice cream. Which they could not eat without cutlery. The only area that was enjoyable was the pool during the day. Also there are no safes in the rooms and there is absolutely no information in the hotel of attractions in Thurles.

We had a good stay at this hotel. We had a good sized room with a standard double and two single beds. We were glad of the extra bed as we have a king bed at home and the double seemed very small, and it was not comfortable either. The room was clean but the furniture is somewhat dated. The public areas are clean and with the Christmas decorations up - it looked lovely. They were unable to make me a decaf latte at breakfast.

I reserved a single room and was very surprised to have a queen bed. The room was well appointed and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. I felt very safe as a solo traveler. The restaurant inside the hotel was absolutely wonderful-ate there twice during my stay. I would definitely stay here again and hope I gave the opportunity to return!

Nice quality food in bar menu and breakfast was good quality well served. My room was an uograde to A mini suite with additional hallway on a corner plot, so very quiet. Only down side was the WiFi in room was pretty weak and slow. Needed. Wi-Fi booster. Rest of hotel was fine.

Lovely stay at the Anner. Special birthday note and slice of cake for my mum on arrival which was a really nice touch. Fantastic large spotless clean pool, but some serious work needed on the dressing rooms to get them up to 4* standard. Dinner was delicous and service top notch. Breakfast however was just chaotic, seating should be assigned. 1 person at a 4 person table. Traffic light system is there to guide you to busy times but I had to ask twice for the continental area to be replenished, no fruit, no meats/cheese and staff seemed to be run off their feet so clearly need more of them or perhaps a little more training for the morning crew. Just small tweaks and it would be even better! Beautiful clean room, comfy beds and really nice bathroom, I will definitely return again and would recommend a stay there.

Spent two nights here. Its a nice place to visit with no down sides that i could see. Check in was quick. Wifi in the room was good. The room was nice and clean and comfortable. Had dinner and breakfast both days and all were excellent. Service was excellent. Was here a year ago and returned as i l8ked the place

Reception greeted with a smile. Room was well maintained, spotlessly clean as was the newly renovated bathroom. Staff were friendly and polite. Excellent breakfast with a multiple food choice . Swimming Pool, Steam and Sauna was nice and relaxing. Will definitely rebook. Well done to all Staff

We have had our family reunion all over Ireland for the past 40 years and this may have been the rudest staff. They were dismissive, short, unhelpful and almost put off when anyone asked for help or assistance. I understand they can't accommodate our every request, but at least be curtious and respectful.

Hotel was excellent, great facilities, gym, spa etc. Rooms are spacious and well laid out. Restaurant breakfast was delicious, wide choice of food. The bistro bar was great for evening meals. Great choice and well prepared and presented. Staff at the hotel were most helpful.

Otroligt fint ställe som hade både fantastisk mat och frukost. De som gillar pool/spa kunde njuta av det också. Rummet var fräscht sängen bekväm. Perfekt ställe att utgå från för att höra utflykter i området.

The car park had very good electric charging at a range of speeds. Parking for hotel guests was in competition with the large conference suite and the leisure club; once conference-goers left there was more space. The room was nice and leisure suite was good. Food was excellent though the hotel ignored my attempts to book a table for dinner until the day of our arrival (I used the messaging process and the form on their own website) and the bar table was not really to our liking (noisy surroundings due to lots of hard surfaces). However staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Breakfast in the restaurant was good; good food and attentive staff.
