Downs Hotel

This is a beautifully renovated hotel a short drive or bus ride from Brighton. The bus comes every 10 minutes and it’s a pretty drive into town. Our room had a gorgeous view over the south downs and the sea. The staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was lovely. The bed was super comfortable and we had a great night’s sleep. Would definitely recommend.

Breakfast was fantastic. The staff were friendly and explained how things worked. Our only issue is the position of our room. It was next to a major traffic junction, No.7, so it was difficult to sleep. However, the staff made up for all inconvenience. Overall, we enjoyed our 4 days

Wee had a lovely stay - staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast was cooked to order & very tasty. Room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

All good. Nice rooms. Lovely cleaning lady. Only issue is TV didn't get all channels everyday; we had BBC need the first day and never again. There seems to be an internet issue

Very cosy room at a very great price. The pub downstairs was busy but we heard absolutely no noise in our room. The girls checking us in and out were lovely and we had a great stay.
