To call this a diamond in the rough does not do it justice. Let's call it a quiet jewel in the heart of Athens. The location is close enough to everything without the hustle and bustle of center of town. The facility is great, comfortable and perfect to for a getaway. The food in the area is great. Plenty of great cafes within 1.5km. I highly recommend Thissio View. The views of the Acropolis are amazing, especially at night. Also, don't forget about the hot tub on the terrace. it was great for relaxing after walking Athens all day. The host were communicative and always willing to help out.

What a great place!! Stayed in penthouse apartment which was over 2 levels for 4 nights.. 5 minutes walk from metro station that has direct trains to and from airport. A lot of restaurants around local area but we tended to walk along pedestrianised Ermou for about 15 minutes to touristy area with a bit more buzz to eat. Check in was easy with code for door and apartment was very clean with it being serviced daily. Hot tub was great to use at end of day watching the sunset after walking 20 odd thousand steps. I can't recommend this accommodation enough.

We love the room. It was nice, spacious, and conveniently next to the metro station. There was a small elevator that helped us with our large luggage in this extreme heat. It was broken on the last day, so getting them down was rough, but part of the experience! They gave us free waters and beers to enjoy, and everything was nice and clean!

An excellent place to stay. Great location. Feels residential but the main sights are walkable. Fantastic, clean room with lots of space and storage. Loved the complimentary refreshments and espresso machine. Check in was simple. The gym in the basement was a nice extra with a treadmill, multi weights machine and free weights. Would definitely stay again.

Loved our room, very spacious, had the roof with jacuzzi, only wish we brought more people lol. Everything was very clean and affordable. We were able to walk to shopping, dining and nice night life, plus metro. Management was friendly and quick responders. Great experience.

The hotel is relatively new. The room was nice & clean. There is daily maid service. It wasn’t an amazing location, but it was good. Easy walk from the metro station. There is a gym on the first floor. There is a very nice Bakery down the street. Check in was the most awkward part. There isn’t a front desk, so it works somewhat like an Airbnb. Prior to getting a code to enter the hotel lobby, you need to message the property management and pay the tourist taxes. The taxes are minimal, but after a long day of traveling 18 hours it was an additional burden. You need to call or message the rental company to pay when you arrive. If we returned, we would ask to pay the tourist taxes prior to leaving for our trip & just have them email or text the entrance code prior to the check in time.

Both beds were comfortable and the hot tub was great after a long day of travel from the U.S. Some improvement needs to be done in the main bathroom downstairs. The shower drained very slow and as a result, some water spilled over because the lip on the shower is not very big. And some additional hooks could be added into the bathroom so that you can hang your towels up as it is currently there is only one towel bar. Thank you for the bottled water!

Very nice property. Requested early check in, but could not get that. Very clean and comfortable. The hot tub had some kind of debris in it, so we were disappointed not to be able to confidently use it. No helpful concierge services. Good value, but che k the hot tub and request cleaning if needed.

The apartment was amazing. It was split over 2 floors with an amazing roof top terrace with our own hot tub. The views across the city were incredible. Just a short walk to the subway and one stop from the city centre. The apartment was such good value we would definitely stay again. To top it off it was serviced daily and we had fresh towels every day. I thoroughly recommend staying here. The neighbourhood feels a bit bohemian but we felt safe and spoilt for choice on places to eat.

Upon arriving at the building we had concerns about the location. The neighbourhood does not feel safe. Though the building itself felt secure enough. We were a bit disappointed to find that this place is not a hotel at all, in fact there is no reception and check in is done via text message with the owner who requested my email address in order to send me a payment link for the mandatory city tax in advance of our stay. This was only 2 euros but the whole process and communication felt convoluted and wrong. Armed with the PIN number which is the same for both the main entrance to the building as well as the room/apartment, we were able to access the place without any issues. The apartment itself was fairly modern and had a good range of amenities (fridge, microwave, two large screen TVs, Nespesso machine, etc): no complaints there. The bedding was unfortunately stained and quite disgusting which was unpleasant. Though the bed itself was comfortable and large. The AC and WiFi worked well and we were comfortable overall. All in all the apartment was good but let down by poor bedding cleanliness and the location of the building was in an unpleasant part of the city so I probably wouldn't stay again.

Great rooms - comfy, clean and so quiet. The location is by no means central but you can still be in the middle of the city in less than 20 minutes by metro or a pleasant 25 minute walk. The virtual check in process was the only thing I didn’t like (I had to chase multiple times to get the necessary details to get in).

The hotel is very clean, modern, and comfortable. Despite not having a staffed front desk, communication with hotel staff was easy, with prompt responses via the What’s App. There were very helpful with every request or question. The hotel is in more of a working class area and can be noisy at night, particularly on weekends. There are some wonderful dining options close by, but not as many as in the more touristy areas. All in all, it was a very positive experience and I’d recommend it to others. Thanks

A very nice and clean hotel. Quick check in process and a decent gym. Wifi is reliable. It is self serve. So you have no concierge. Also the location is a little far from the touristy areas but it is close to the metro karaiskis. Overall excellent but keep in mind the location.

The room was adequate but the kitchen facilities were bare bones: no cook top or oven; no pots or pans; no dish towels; only minimal dish ware; lighting was inadequate. Nespresso coffee maker made very small portions. There was a small refrigerator and microwave, however. The bathroom was similarly Spartan, but adequate. The Internet service was constantly cutting out and when it was connecting, it was very slow. The surrounding neighborhood was rundown and the view from the nice balcony was almost that of a war zone. There were very few coffee shops in the immediate area, and restaurants of any kind were nearly a mile away, except for one. The lack of onsight desk service was very awkward. Check in was difficult because the "pay at property" shown on Expedia is not possible since there is no desk service. Payment was online and only possible with a working phone and Internet service. (My phone ran out of power and I could not process a payment. Fortunately, the over-the-phone management were understanding and gave us access codes.) The Expedia description indicates that this property is a hotel. This is very misleading as the property is really a group of condos with no onsite desk/concierge services and the units have no cooking facilities as noted above. The description should be rewritten for greater accuracy and transparency.

Stayed here during my trip to Greece at two different times, in two different rooms. First room was more compact (studio) but spacious. Second room was more of a condo style with a separate bedroom and a wrap around balcony. Both were very clean, nice extras (shower cap, vanity kits), and what I always hope for… a full length mirror! The host was great, very friendly, quick response time. The first stay had a minor issue but the response and time it took to get fixed was 10 minutes. The outside area isn’t the prettiest, but close to some great food spots, and a 25 minute walk to the downtown area. The streets are tight to drive through as people park on both sides, but was able to park on the streets overnight next to the building with no issues or tickets the next day. Would definitely stay here again!

The property has no staff, took hours to get ahold of anyone, had to wait out side in 90 degree wheather until exactly 3pm before the code to entrance would work. Never again will i use the corporation!

We didn’t like that we were not given a code to enter the property beforehand despite being told we would receive an email with check in details. We had a very long flight, flying over 15 hours to arrive and have to wait outside at the door. There was no one to greet us and we had all of our luggage outside of the property on the street while we tried to connect to the WiFi to contact someone from the property. This was not a good experience. This was the only negative experience. The property is beautiful and kept very clean which we liked. The staff was nice and friendly. The room was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the amenities of the property. I would stay there again provided the aforementioned issue is resolved.

Stayed here during my trip to Greece at two different times, in two different rooms. First room was more compact (studio) but spacious. Second room was more of a condo style with a separate bedroom and a wrap around balcony. Both were very clean, nice extras (shower cap, vanity kits), and what I always hope for… a full length mirror! The host was great, very friendly, quick response time. The first stay had a minor issue but the response and time it took to get fixed was 10 minutes. The outside area isn’t the prettiest, but close to some great food spots, and a 25 minute walk to the downtown area. The streets are tight to drive through as people park on both sides, but was able to park on the streets overnight next to the building with no issues or tickets the next day. Would definitely stay here again!

My fiance is very clean and and tidy. I always need to be conscious of this when we travel together. In a city where I know some of my friends have had quite varied results with accommodation, Vision Gazi proved to be a very high quality, modern, and clean choice. Located within a very easy walk to Kerameikos metro station, with many nearby eateries and bars and corner stores for groceries and coffee, Vision Gazi is also a very convenient choice. There is an associated hotel elsewhere in Athens available to discuss any needs, but potential guests should not that this building is unstaffed except for the visit by housekeeping. There was a small complication, in that the hotel sends you instructions for self-entry to the building, but this did not happen until the same day, and as I was in transit, and hoping for an early check-in on arrival this was a bit concerning. When I chased the hotel for the instructions, they wrote back to say I first had to pay the "climate tax", which is a small and normal fee, but this meant that whilst I was waiting nearby on a very hot day, it took some time to get the details to pay the tax, then the code to enter the building. Having said that, I was still granted early check-in which was nice. I simply mean it might be a good idea to chase the management prior to arrival in Athens to make sure you have all the details earlier than I did. I'll stay here again :)

I had an amazing stay at Vision Gazi. The room was modern, spacious and immaculate. Any queries were answered very quickly. Very close to metro and a 10min walk to Monastiraki Square. A mini market and bakery just down the street was very handy. I would definitely recommend Vision Gazi!

Upon arriving at the building we had concerns about the location. The neighbourhood does not feel safe. Though the building itself felt secure enough. We were a bit disappointed to find that this place is not a hotel at all, in fact there is no reception and check in is done via text message with the owner who requested my email address in order to send me a payment link for the mandatory city tax in advance of our stay. This was only 2 euros but the whole process and communication felt convoluted and wrong. Armed with the PIN number which is the same for both the main entrance to the building as well as the room/apartment, we were able to access the place without any issues. The apartment itself was fairly modern and had a good range of amenities (fridge, microwave, two large screen TVs, Nespesso machine, etc): no complaints there. The bedding was unfortunately stained and quite disgusting which was unpleasant. Though the bed itself was comfortable and large. The AC and WiFi worked well and we were comfortable overall. All in all the apartment was good but let down by poor bedding cleanliness and the location of the building was in an unpleasant part of the city so I probably wouldn't stay again.

A very nice and clean hotel. Quick check in process and a decent gym. Wifi is reliable. It is self serve. So you have no concierge. Also the location is a little far from the touristy areas but it is close to the metro karaiskis. Overall excellent but keep in mind the location.

To call this a diamond in the rough does not do it justice. Let's call it a quiet jewel in the heart of Athens. The location is close enough to everything without the hustle and bustle of center of town. The facility is great, comfortable and perfect to for a getaway. The food in the area is great. Plenty of great cafes within 1.5km. I highly recommend Thissio View. The views of the Acropolis are amazing, especially at night. Also, don't forget about the hot tub on the terrace. it was great for relaxing after walking Athens all day. The host were communicative and always willing to help out.

What a great place!! Stayed in penthouse apartment which was over 2 levels for 4 nights.. 5 minutes walk from metro station that has direct trains to and from airport. A lot of restaurants around local area but we tended to walk along pedestrianised Ermou for about 15 minutes to touristy area with a bit more buzz to eat. Check in was easy with code for door and apartment was very clean with it being serviced daily. Hot tub was great to use at end of day watching the sunset after walking 20 odd thousand steps. I can't recommend this accommodation enough.

We love the room. It was nice, spacious, and conveniently next to the metro station. There was a small elevator that helped us with our large luggage in this extreme heat. It was broken on the last day, so getting them down was rough, but part of the experience! They gave us free waters and beers to enjoy, and everything was nice and clean!

An excellent place to stay. Great location. Feels residential but the main sights are walkable. Fantastic, clean room with lots of space and storage. Loved the complimentary refreshments and espresso machine. Check in was simple. The gym in the basement was a nice extra with a treadmill, multi weights machine and free weights. The cleaning staff were the best part of my stay. We did not use room cleaning, but they checked on us daily and always brought bottled water, fresh towels, and even extra coffee supplies. The air conditioning worked well, the bed was comfortable, the room was soundproof, and the toiletries were good quality. The wraparound balcony was nice, though the view was only other buildings and a mechanic shop. One staff member had a very friendly dog on site, which I genuinely enjoyed. The rest of the experience was disappointing. The gym was my main reason for booking, but it was cramped, poorly assembled, and had no air conditioning or fan, making it unusable in the summer heat. When I raised the issue, the non cleaning staff dismissed it and offered no solution, even though a simple fan would have helped. They said the air conditioning would be fixed, but nothing happened for days. The shower drained slowly, the hall lights were out on several nights, and the room felt cold and colorless. The location felt unsafe and had very little nearby, so most activities required a metro or cab ride. There were no extra pillows or blankets for the couch hide a bed. I wish the staff had taken my concerns seriously. Their lack of care left a sour taste, and I cannot recommend this hotel to family or friends.

We had a wonderful stay at Fos Apartments in Greece! The apartment was modern, beautifully remodeled, and exceptionally clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the pillows were honestly some of the best we've ever slept on. The location was perfect—close to shopping, restaurants, and the Acropolis, making it easy to explore the city. It was also very quiet, so we were able to relax and get a great night's sleep. Check-in was simple and hassle-free. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Athens!

The actual hotel room was excellent: clean, exactly like the photos showed, a good location. As we were leaving though, we weren’t able to open our safe and with no front staff there was no one to help. Somehow the safe passcode got changed to match our room door code (we think the cleaning staff might have - not sure) which we figured out frantically and very last minute just as a random attempt. We almost didn’t make our flight. That was our only issue. Otherwise would highly recommend Fos, a great hotel!
