Good hotel and friendly service, Free parking is limited as only 10 or 12 spaces available meaning you need to pay for the community parking for the local leisure centre. Doesnt say limited on the website, only says free parking so be aware.

A builders van was parked in one of the disabled spaces overnight. My wife is a disabled blue badge holder. We had to park in the public car park, free for blue badges but less secure and a longer walk. I have photos.

A very warm welcome from Stevan Vikas (not sure of correct spelling). Lovely reception, bar area and eating area. Helpful and friendly staff. Small amount of parking onsite (register at reception) and larger paid parking at the rear too. Basic room but clean and comfortable. Step up to bathroom "pod", decent shower. Tea and coffee in room. Decent basic breakfast choices. Perfect location, five mins walk for Elstree Studios if working there. Would definitely stay again. Note to hotel: Hand towels needed in bathroom. We had a lovely stay. The room was very clean, thanks to Barbara who did a very good job and was very pleasant. The room was nice and modern. The whole team of staff was friendly and very professional. The internet worked well and at a good speed. They had food available 24/7. It was easy to park the carfor free during our stay. Shops, restaurants and public transportswere at a.short distance walk. The room was quiet. We would stay here again.

Staff friendly and helpful. Lots of cheap parking. Would definitely stay here again as great value for London trips and Elstree studio. Room basic, lovely firm bed. Asked for accessible room and this had a wet room which was great for my needs. Decor/furniture was slightly damaged and a bit marked but perfectly good for a budget stay. Breakfast was very good (better than their rivals). Very fresh, a good range of cooked and continental buffet, even boiled eggs, and pastries. There was a pool table for use by residents. Negative was the shower was pretty pathetic in terms of flow - I like a power shower whereas this was not. 24 hour food service took a while but the pizza was good.

We had tickets for Strictly Come Dancing at Elstree Studios and decided to drive up and stay the night as trains were undergoing engineering works and a taxi was £105 each way - glad we did decide to stay as the SCD recording is a long day The hotel is less than a 5 min walk from Elstree Studios - absolute bonus when it’s 11pm and you’re absolutely shattered. Hotel is basic but clean and has all the facilities you need for this type of stay. Clean room, clean shower/toilet. Shower was actually quite powerful Facilities from what we saw were good and basic The ibis carpark has 20 spaces so if you miss a space, a free one, the overflow carpark which the hotel feeds into is huge with ample spaces. It uses ‘paybyphone’. I paid £5 for 24 hours but you can get it for £2 via reception. The mark down for me and I note this on all hotels that offer a buffet style. The prices you all set are ridiculous for what is offered. I know it’s buffet and you can eat what you like but no one goes greedy in these hotel types. But this is a generic whinge as all U.K. hotels do it

Stayed here as it was the nearest to Elstree as attending the filming of Strictly. The staff were friendly and helpful, as we had arrived very early we were allowed to park in the hotel car park. Although check in was 3pm,we were allowed to check in early at 1pm. The room was basic but clean. There were 2 bath towels but no hand towels. The bar was open late and served food which was great although a little slow.

We stayed here as we had tickets to Strictly Come Dancing at Elstree Studios. It was so convenient for the studios a 5 minute walk from there. It was also a short walk to the train station and shops. Hotel was clean, room was a good size with a large shower. Bed was comfortable.

We've stayed at this Ibis in Borehamwood before. Our room wasn’t as pristine this time. Stains on the carpet, half used toilet rolls, empty soap dispensers. Not much attention to detail. We are currently staying at an Ibis in Parma, Italy and there’s no comparison. Our Italian Ibis has a lovely large room with a spacious cupboard, a large bathroom. And a telephone in the room. And the continual breakfast for 8 euros is amazing value.

I've stayed here for many years since it was built. It's a good hotel and in an area with plenty of shops and food outlets.I would like to say that over the years the staff have been consistently friendly and helpful. The rooms are looking a bit tired now but they're always clean.

Stayed in Ibis Borehamwood overnight as we were going to see Strictly at Elstree Studios. Walking distance for train around 20 mins & 5 mins from studio. Room was clean & comfortable. Enjoyed our breakfast. Plenty variety. Buffet style replenished regent freshly cooked food. The staff were all extremely pleasant.

Good location for visiting elstree studios. Instructions for parking need to be clearer - if you can’t park in their tiny car park, don’t pay to park in the main car park, you can buy a voucher from reception for £2. Room was freezing cold when we arrived and although we put the heating on, the room still didn’t heat up. Heater was too noisy to leave on all night so poor quality of sleep. Rock hard pillows.

The room was drab, dingy and desperately needed a revamp. The bed was very uncomfortable with low quality bedding - especially the pillows! I had one of worst nights sleep as I was so uncomfortable. The bathroom was equally disappointing. Low quality. Would never return to this hotel. I’d say it was only worth £20 per night and that’s being generous.

Stayed at Ibis multiple times with work. Staff there is great but the hotel itself is worn out and just in generel pretty bad. Very low quality rooms. The showers are one bit plastic cabin and reminds you of a public bathroom or something.

Nice hotel unfortunately let down by little things, like a broken switch on the bedside light, no sockets close to the bed, no socket near the kettle and coffee making facilities so had to carry a hot kettle across the room and no waste bin in the room except a tiny one in the bathroom.

We stay at this hotel fairly regalrly usually booked theough the hotels website, this tome we booked through hotels.com as we had some loyalty points to use against the booking. Althogh the rooms are extensively identical, the room we had was particularly worn and noisy due to the extractor system immediately outside the window. Maybe this is a lower quality room for hotels.com customers to counter hotels.com commissio .

Our booking from Expedia “hadn’t pulled through” and so we were ages checking in. We then got given a Double instead of a Twin room as booked. Staff were supportive and apologetic but the system issue created real hassle. We use this hotel a lot but I will be worried in the future in case it happens again

I've stayed here for many years since it was built. It's a good hotel and in an area with plenty of shops and food outlets.I would like to say that over the years the staff have been consistently friendly and helpful. The rooms are looking a bit tired now but they're always clean.

Stayed in Ibis Borehamwood overnight as we were going to see Strictly at Elstree Studios. Walking distance for train around 20 mins & 5 mins from studio. Room was clean & comfortable. Enjoyed our breakfast. Plenty variety. Buffet style replenished regent freshly cooked food. The staff were all extremely pleasant.

Ideal spot for us-visiting central London then off to Luton. Easy check in, really polite staff, superb standard of beds-haven’t been to Ibis for some time, but will definitely check them out again for the price.

Truly love this place and the staff. As an autistic person I really struggle away from home but have to travel alone for work. This is the 7 or 8th time I’ve stayed here. I messaged the first time asking them to help me and look after me as I wasn’t sure I would cope. They do such a fab job, everything is so easy for , they give me the same room everytime I stay. Anything I need they are there with smiles and patient. So much so I wouldn’t look to book anywhere else when I’m in London. The food is amazing, massive compliment for someone who generally won’t eat anywhere new and struggles with food. It’s in the only Part of London not in the Ulez, vast parking, close to station is brilliant links to London Bridge. Already looking to book my next date, safe in the comfort this place will make me welcome.

When I go to Borehamwood I always stay in the IBIS. It's a lovely hotel, in a very central location, walkable to all amenities and attractions. Rooms are a great size and they are clean. Staff are very accomodating and go out of their way to help. I personally prefer rooms at the back of the hotel as it's quieter, although I don't think the main road in front of the hotel is particularly busy at night so I'm not sure that noise would be an issue. I've stayed in the IBIS Borhamwood 4-5 times now, and will continue to stay there whenever I visit Borehamwood.

We had tickets for Strictly Come Dancing at Elstree Studios and decided to drive up and stay the night as trains were undergoing engineering works and a taxi was £105 each way - glad we did decide to stay as the SCD recording is a long day The hotel is less than a 5 min walk from Elstree Studios - absolute bonus when it’s 11pm and you’re absolutely shattered. Hotel is basic but clean and has all the facilities you need for this type of stay. Clean room, clean shower/toilet. Shower was actually quite powerful Facilities from what we saw were good and basic The ibis carpark has 20 spaces so if you miss a space, a free one, the overflow carpark which the hotel feeds into is huge with ample spaces. It uses ‘paybyphone’. I paid £5 for 24 hours but you can get it for £2 via reception. The mark down for me and I note this on all hotels that offer a buffet style. The prices you all set are ridiculous for what is offered. I know it’s buffet and you can eat what you like but no one goes greedy in these hotel types. But this is a generic whinge as all U.K. hotels do it

It was a bed for the night. Duvet was too thin and we were cold during the night. Breakfast was not worth the money, with many items run out and empty. Staff were trying hard !

The air con didnt work so we were hot all night, the bed was uncomfortable and there was no vent for the bathroom so it steamed up the whole room. There were scrapes of the walls in the bathroom and the bathroom door didn't shut. The food and the staff were great, though they did run out of hash browns on Saturday morning by 9am.

Asked for accessible room and this had a wet room which was great for my needs. Decor/furniture was slightly damaged and a bit marked but perfectly good for a budget stay. Breakfast was very good (better than their rivals). Very fresh, a good range of cooked and continental buffet, even boiled eggs, and pastries. There was a pool table for use by residents. Negative was the shower was pretty pathetic in terms of flow - I like a power shower whereas this was not. 24 hour food service took a while but the pizza was good.

Very impressed by the staff. Downside was the room smelt of smoke the day we arrived. Despite signage not to smoke. Toilet and Shower was a plastic unit, not ideal. All said, good location, fab staff and for what we wanted value for money

The staff are lovely and so welcoming. Hotel has such a nice vibe and atmosphere. The 24/7 food is so handy. I also thought the breakfast was quite fresh and tasty, good value for money. A very solid all rounder. The bathroom did remind me of a spaceship a little, but I’m not mad at it. Also check out being at 12 is so helpful. A genuinely pleasant stay, I would stay again!
