What i had planned to be a fun weekend with the pool at the hotel was set in mind well the chlorine in the pool burned my 6 an 7 yr olds skin up to where it needed medical attention. I told the gentleman about it an he was very apologetic and shut the pool down then later followed up that the chlorine level was thru the roof. Now we know why they got this icky topical burn.

The pool was the only amenity that was badly managed. Big kids not accompanied by parents were playing unsafely rather dangerously. I could not let my kids enjoy the pool. A staff member need to check it periodically. The water was all over the place and not safe for walking too.

There were roaches in my room I found three of them near the refrigerator, which is completely unacceptable especially sanitary purposes. I contacted the front desk. She was there by herself and stated she could not leave nor does she have a emergency phone number to a manager to try to switch the room we had been in this room most of our stay and didn’t see the roaches until today when I pulled the refrigerator out after seeing the first roach, there were two more which I tried to kill by spraying something on them from Victoria’s Secret. I didn’t have anything else. They didn’t even provide me with a bug killer or anything. This young lady was totally useless to me. She put me on the floor with a whole bunch of kids were making noise two in the morning the whole point of extending my stay after I had already pay almost $400 to stay here well so that I can get some sleep. I have a 10 Hour Dr. ahead of Me And I pay out of pocket to have an additional day so now that’s a total of $500 to stay in a roach invested room I am highly upset and I need the corporate information immediately. In addition to the poor conditions, my husband has epilepsy and when he is fatigued due to a lack of sleep, he has seizures. We experience 2seizures during our stay. In addition to the 2nd room that she tried to relocate us to being musty smelling, and the children down the hall were so loud that we could not get any sleep so we just went back down to the roach infested room so that we can sleep

The halls and room had a musky smell (not a clean smell), the bathroom vent had not been cleaned in a while, and the shower floor was outdated and had glue/caulk all over the tiles by the drain. We had a room by the elevator so we got to hear every person who got off the elevator speaking loudly and kids running to their rooms. The weather was terrible the entire time so there was no swimming allowed in the indoor pool. The front desk staff were pleasant and gave a discount for the inoperable pool when I asked, but they were not going to offer it unless I insisted considering the pool/hot tub was the only reason we had booked this hotel over others. I’d rate this hotel as average, I’ve seen a lot better and a lot worse. I wouldn’t book twice.

Shower had large cracks that have been "masked" over with some type of low budget sealant. Clear signs of mold is growing in the cracks of the shower door. Needs a really good scrub down with some bleach water. Tiny baby roaches coming from shower drain. This USED to be our go to property because of the location and the price but I wont go back. Nothing is worth the chance of taking bugs back home with me. Someone needs to walk the property and update where needed. Its a shame to allow this location to suffer for such minor issues. I had no issue with the actual sleeping area. Bed was nice, sheets were clean and the room smelled clean. I just pay close attention to detail and the staff should too. See something, say something.

The hotel was nice overall. We got vouchers for a free breakfast and the pool was nice. Our blinds in the room would not close all the way, so it was very bright every morning. Black out curtains or curtains that could close all the way would be nice. Only one elevator in the hotel worked the whole time we were there & the shower curtain did not cover the whole bathtub during a shower. Other than that, we were pleased with our stay.

I’m writing to formally express serious concerns regarding the unacceptable experience my partner and I had during our recent stay. I am very furious and frustrated, and I also feel discriminated against. Upon arrival, we were made to wait over an hour just to check in, mind you our check in time was at 3:00 pm, but made it around 5:30 pm. Your staff gave us inconsistent and confusing explanations throughout the process. First, my partner was told he couldn’t check in without a confirmation number — which he promptly provided. Then we were told the key card machine was down. Moments later, another staff member claimed the room wasn’t ready. Which was it? The disorganization and lack of communication were completely unprofessional and frustrating. To make matters worse, although check-out was clearly stated as 11:00 a.m., we were repeatedly disturbed by room service knocking at 8:00 a.m. and again at 9:00 a.m., despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being visibly posted on our door. I am a younger adult, and at times during the interaction, it felt as though we weren’t being taken seriously as if our concerns didn’t matter or we weren’t considered “real” guests. That is not only unprofessional, but discriminatory and unacceptable. We chose your hotel expecting a level of professionalism and hospitality.

I’m writing to formally express serious concerns regarding the unacceptable experience my partner and I had during our recent stay. I am very furious and frustrated, and I also feel discriminated against. Upon arrival, we were made to wait over an hour just to check in, mind you our check in time was at 3:00 pm, but made it around 5:30 pm. Your staff gave us inconsistent and confusing explanations throughout the process. First, my partner was told he couldn’t check in without a confirmation number — which he promptly provided. Then we were told the key card machine was down. Moments later, another staff member claimed the room wasn’t ready. Which was it? The disorganization and lack of communication were completely unprofessional and frustrating. To make matters worse, although check-out was clearly stated as 11:00 a.m., we were repeatedly disturbed by room service knocking at 8:00 a.m. and again at 9:00 a.m., despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being visibly posted on our door. Housekeeping comes upon request. I requested housekeeping and the never came. In addition to that, when asked for extra towels they have no one on staff to bring it to you. You’re forced to come downstairs to pick them up. They also heave a major lady bug problem.

Overall it’s an okay Holiday Inn. My biggest issues are that our room clearly wasn’t cleaned properly and the fact that the people working at the desk are literally NEVER there. Our room had been cleaned somewhat but there were still open K-Cups from the previous guests on the counter and the tub and toilet were still dirty. When we arrived for check in, there was no one at the desk, after waiting five minutes I walked back to the office and he said he was printing something for someone and would be right up, this took another 10 minutes, 15 total minutes waiting. Then, EVERYTIME I went downstairs for towels or to get something from the little store, NEVER anyone at the desk. No clue where they were, they would just pop up when they were ready and said how can I help you. Like what the heck??!

The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating upon arrival and departure. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a nice big bathroom with walk-in shower. The a/c was very noisy, but it worked. The breakfast was wonderful! Real scrambled eggs and bacon, better than any of the other hotels we’ve stayed in lately, as well as a friendly, helpful hostess. We would definitely stay there again.

The only issue I have was the $50.00 deposit asked for upon our stay. I don't remember seeing anything about this when booking. Also, the breakfast was expensive with limited options. I paid about the same amount just taking my family to breakfast at a restaurant. The hotel was great though, and the area was nice. Right near the Wolf base mall

I paid $165.00 for one night and was told that breakfast was at 7:00. When I went to breakfast I was told that breakfast was not included and would be $12.50 more. Seriously $165 and breakfast is not included. NOT ACCEPTABLE!

Overall the stay was very good. The first day we got to breakfast 20 minutes before they closed and the workers were just finished cleaning up because they had shut down early. Very early considering there was no food out and everything was clean. That was extremely frustrating.

At about 1130 hours, a large group of guests started playing really loud music. I called the front desk and Samuel told me he had just gotten on shift and he was aware and that “I needed to give him time” I waited until midnight,I had been on the road for 2 days, exhausted, overly exhausted. My mother had died and I just needed rest. I called the desk a second time, Samuel was not concerned, he said he tried. I made the comment that I should pull my car up and shine my brights and honk my horn until someone turns the music off. I told him I was calling the police. But I didn’t know that the cops were already there. Finally the party was broken up, and Samuel calls my personal cell phone telling me to come downstairs, but I am not dressed, so I said no and hung up. The next thing there are 4 black police officers at my door, telling me to pack up and leave. I am 64 years old, it was 12:30 in the morning-the party was still going on, and myself and my daughter got escorted out, and I had to sign a CONTRACT THAT I CANNOT EVER ENTER ON YOUR PROPERTY AGAIN!

Excellent service excellent hotel. I had a great time. I enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend any and everybody That is traveling to visit Holiday Inn and suites by IHG. I was pissed that they did not have any grits for breakfast. Hell but I’ll be back.
