Cozy rustic cabin on Lake Hartwell. Book a Fall getaway today!

We were in town for our son’s wedding. Not knowing the area, and needing a space large enough to cook for the welcome dinner and a flow of guests, this cabin was conveniently located and had the right space. Initially, we were thrilled to get in and find it was cozy and had a great layout HOWEVER, we soon realized the wrap around porch needs repairing and was a concern, the kitchen sinks had very low to almost no water pressure, and everything just really needed a deep cleaning/refreshening. And then, although the AC was set to 74, it kept shutting off. They did send someone on day 2 and the problem was resolved (hallelujah!!) but needs a long term fix rather than the extension cord from the attic through the bedroom doorway and hose out the window that we had the remainder of the weekend. It’s Georgia in June but, there were roaches throughout, the downstairs backdoor stuck on opening, 1 bathroom door did not close at all, and no sheets on the trundle beds. Overall, the space worked, Todd was very nice on the phone and did send the AC repair man but, for a cozy cabin getaway, it needs a deep cleaning and some basic maintenance & repairs. If we had been planning on more time at the cabin, in the lake, and not had all the off-site events, the above listed issues would have been of even greater concern.

We really enjoyed our stay. The dock is in serious need of repair but the property is beautiful. Home is very spacious and fully stocked with everything you’ll need to enjoy time with your family!

Everything was as expected or better. Upon arrival did mortal combat with a hornet that found its was inside. Happy to report no casualties. The property description accurately warns of the path down to the dock. The front steps down to the front porch could use a hand rail. But that probably says more about me that the property. Place is terrific.

The kitchen faucet had very water output. Other than that it was a very nice cabin.

This lake house was great. the easy booking, great host, simple check-in, all amenities & house was fully stocked. We even got some snow, so the view was awesome! 10/10! Will definitely be back! This was a great weekend. It was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. It’s very close to stores and restaurants. Perfect place!!!!
