Had a lovely week staying at hotel Cavtat. It is located perfectly for the restaurants on an evening. We were disappointed the bar shuts at 11.00 and the pool bar at 6pm. We had family interconnecting room which worked really well with our two teenage daughters. If you have children he pool is very small and might not be what they need. We managed and didn’t have many pool days but my younger daughter loves a lilo in the water and we didn’t feel it was the right place or big enough for that. You do have to pay to hire sunbeds €5 per person per half day but you do get a voucher to spend at the pool bar as long as you spend over €5. However, there is no getting up early to put towels down as you choose your bed number and it is always there for you whatever time you go down. Breakfast had a good choice and fresh omelettes made to order. All the staff were very friendly and pleasant. I will certainly be back to Cavtat and would consider using Hotel Cavtat again.

Really enjoyed my stay, my room on the 8th floor was modern with fantastic views. Really good breakfast and the staff were lovely. Spa was also excellent. I had a peaceful stay and enjoyed exploring the local area from this hotel.

Great place to stay, nice views, quiet. Lounge areas , pool and water access for swimming are very pleasant, rooms are very average at best, not five star for sure. Hallways to rooms are small and need some better decorative ideas, walls are in need of some paint. Good breakfast, and since we rented a car, no fee for parking was appropriated.

The hotel is comfortable and has many amenities, i.e., pool, spa, bar, restaurant. It is walkable to many cafes and restaurants along harbor. It only has one small elevator and it’s slow.

Outstanding breakfast, beautiful hotel, amazing view, comfy bed, terrific shower and heated towel rack. Unfortunately, the pool area was packed and people had “reserved” all the lounge chairs with their towels, so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool. We were surprised to see that the hotel didn’t supply pool towels.

Great area near Dubrovnik , bus to Dubrovnik 30 min , boat round trip -20 euro , hotel is located at a very nice spot , small swimming pool and crowded sundeck - very unappealing , there are small beach areas around , great breakfast buffet

Rooms were clean, breakfast was good. Chosen Seaview room, ok. However this is the first hotel i have come across to charge for sunloungers and umbrellas and to both charge for and require you to book the pool in advance for each half day.

Just Lovely. Perfect location. Glorious room & view (604!) coffee machine left a bit to be desired but the rest was glorious. You need to book the beds by the pool a few days ahead when it’s busy.

We stayed here for one night before we flew home from Croatia. That was the only mistake we made - staying ONE night! We should have stayed LONGER! Cavtat is such a great little seaside town with so many dining options, very walkable and safe. The hotel offers spacious, modern and clean rooms. The huge shower was heaven and the beds were so comfy. We really loved our time at the rooftop pool and bar. Great views of Cavtat. We loved this hotel and can't wait to return!

The hotel is well located and has a nice pool (though very cold!) and a pool bar. The service at the pool bar is excellent and the young man running that should be responsible for training other staff. The service at reception is slow and it seems that only one person knows how to do anything as the other staff refer to her. The classic room is far too small - the smallest room we have ever had ( and we travel widely and are retired). The standard of cleanliness was good. The breakfast buffet was fresh and plentiful but the staff did not greet you and the area was cramped - needs fewer tables and chairs. At the front of the hotel is a beautiful veranda and eating area. The service there is sadly diabolical and we witnessed many people simply leaving before they were served. It’s such a loss to the hotel as the views and ambience there is stunning in the morning and evening (see photos)

We were lucky to be assigned a corner room on the top floor which gave us spectacular views in two directions. The hotel was very nice and the standard was very high…. It was impeccably clean with staff constantly cleaning. My only negative comment is that the bathroom was too dark……otherwise we were extremely satisfied.

Lovely stay at Hotel Cavtat. Beautiful area with a lovely view from our balcony and the pool. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Hotel is very clean with lots of staff constantly working. Cavtat is a lovely town and much quieter than Dubrovnik which suited us. Only slight downside is the pool was too cold for me but everyone else coped no problem but I still really enjoyed being at the pool area for sunbathing and the views. The pool barman is very friendly. Beach is also nice and the sea feels slightly warmer than the pool. Everywhere we visited in Croatia was very clean and beautiful clean sea water.

I was in this hotel for the second time. I like it because of its' location. Not sure if I return for a 3rd time. Breakfast was a nightmare last year, same and more horrible this time. Very crowded, dirty tables, rude staff, poor quality of food. very bad. But rooms are refurbished nicely.

Amazing location and view (from part of the hotel) nicely refurbished however for the cost I expected a little more. Things missed in housekeeping, sound proofing practically non existent. Great pool (albeit very cold) but super messy with discarded glasses and left hanging around

Gorgeous views, beautiful room, perfect location... the staff were very nice, and the hotel was well appointed and beautifully renovated. The location was perfect, just a short stroll to the center of town. A couple of missed opportunities in the room: no tissue, lack of towels & glassware. The other item was there were fees to virtually everything including reserving the loungers by the pool, however you could use the 5 euros for each lounger rented as a credit at the bar. However, the pool bar prices were very elevated. Didn't like that part. The breakfast was included and quite good. Overall, we would return and definitely recommend Hotel Cavtat.

Beautiful modern clean hotel but they've scrimped on space. Our bedroom had a fantastic sea view but there was barely room to move around and get ready. The bathroom was the same, the door opened inwards and you literally had to squeeze round it to get in - no chance of two of you getting ready together! Dining room also squeezed way too many tables and chairs in so it was very difficult to get to a table The position was perfect and the views amazing but the shortage of personal space was definitely a negative point

We loved our stay here! The room was beautiful, spacious, clean and the view was gorgeous! The pool was great and staff were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely stay again on this gorgeous little town.

Overall was happy with the choice however, the breakfast had a very hectic feel. No clear service structure. The blacony a nice few but was very small. The shower did not have a door meaning the floor mat got completely soaked.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and overall it was good. When we arrived we didn’t like the room but this was quickly rectified. In a great location for walking everywhere. Rooms were small and quite modern and very clean. Staff were friendly. The only thing I could fault is the queues at breakfast which resulted in food being cold! There is a booking system for sunbeds €5 for half a day but can be redeemed at pool bar.

The breakfast buffet was fresh and plentiful but the staff did not greet you and the area was cramped - needs fewer tables and chairs. At the front of the hotel is a beautiful veranda and eating area. The service there is sadly diabolical and we witnessed many people simply leaving before they were served. It’s such a loss to the hotel as the views and ambience there is stunning in the morning and evening (see photos)
The hotel is well located and has a nice pool (though very cold!) and a pool bar. The service at the pool bar is excellent and the young man running that should be responsible for training other staff. The service at reception is slow and it seems that only one person knows how to do anything as the other staff refer to her. The classic room is far too small - the smallest room we have ever had ( and we travel widely and are retired). The standard of cleanliness was good. Great location for the bars and restaurants of Cavtat. we had a room with a balcony and see view which was perfect. Service was also very friendly. The only negative was the reliability of the drinks machines at breakfast.

The staff at Hotel Cavtat are absolutely amazing. A big thank you to the front reception staff Francisco and Magdalena for your outstanding service. You really made my birthday trip special! The rooms are very comfortable, I had the sea facing room. The breakfast had some amazing food choices. The location is simply just perfect!

A very cosy hotel in the heart of Cavtat. Beautiful views of the sea and small harbour from the balcony. Staff very helpful, a special shout out to the girl at reception who gave me perfect directions to a rather obscure location in Dubrovnik!!

This was supposed to be a nice getaway to recover after serious health crisis. Unfortunately, our AC stopped working in the middle of the night. Stuff like this can happen… but when they do you expect it to be fixed at the very least you expect a respectful response from staff. Especially since it was 2am and the temperature was 32 degrees Celsius… there were no windows or balcony to open the door. We had to go to the lobby multiple times but they refused to help. Eventually 2 hours later, at which time the room was 35 c) We finally got a new room. Having to change rooms can happen, sometimes things break. But the response and disrespect we experienced from the manager is completely unacceptable. (Staff called manager in the middle of the night, but he refused to give us a new room). This is probably the worst service I have ever experienced. Completely ruined our stay.

Checked in late afternoon - air conditioning in room not working, controlled centrally but when put on room went from 26 to 28 degrees. Guy on desk unhelpful, asked for another room told have to speak to manager and to call maintenance who would be more than 20 mins. Went to pool for over an hour came back to find maintenance were waiting to go in room. Asked for another room as too hot to sleep in finally gave us an upgrade reluctantly. New room temperature acceptable but not a good start to stay. Pool booking bed system odd and so cramped. Beach opposite pool so much nicer and free. When came to check out mess with room bill for pool bed charge took time to settle. A big complex with minimal personal touches and low customer service. Other people rates but sorry not us.

Beautiful hotel, great location, easy walk to bars and restaurants. Wonderful place to swim in front of hotel. Fantastic breakfast, can't say enough. If rating 1 to 10, it would be a 20. Just uber from the airport as you don't need a car. Book early, people love this hotel.

A gem of a hotel in a central area of Cavtat to walk around town and even just go downstairs to enjoy seaside dining. Included breakfast was nice and had options. We had a lovely stay and while it isn’t super close to Dubrovnik it was perfect for a relaxed vacation on a beautiful marina.

Great hotel, beautiful little town , just about 8 minutes drive from Dubrovnik Airport and about 15 minutes from Old Town Dubrovnik .. Rooms are super clean, comfortable beds, nice shower, and I had a great view from the balcony .. Wonderful restaurant, great food and chef was very creative. Breakfast was above and beyond satisfying..

A very nice hotel in a great location. Cavtat is very hilly so some of the hotels have a steep walk from the centre whereas Hotel Cavtat is a 2 minute walk on the flat. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Cavtat is very close to Dubrovnik airport, but also within walking distance of the charming Old Town of Cavtat, where gardens, historic buildings and many restaurants line the shore of the Adriatic Sea. The rooftop pool overlooks the harbour, and we especially appreciated a box breakfast for our early departure to catch a flight.

The food was awful. The staff at dinner overwhelmed and not trained. For a 4* hotel we had expected better. It lets this beautiful hotel down. Otherwise a lovely place to stay and the most convenient hotel for just about everything. Just don't book half board!

Great hotel and location. Clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast choices and fresh omelette eggs etc station cooked to order. Fresh fruit cakes pastries meats cheeses hot buffet selection also very good indeed. Little disappointed that having a late flight home you wanted somewhere to shower and change after a day out and about swimming etc there were no available rooms and unlike most hotels they did not have a room set aside for guests to use. Air con switched to winter mode whilst temperatures were still relatively warm. Loved our stay thank you :))

Great hotel, perfect location with great views from room and balcony. Breakfast chaotic as tables not cleared quickly enough, and then there was shortage of bowls, cups and glasses. Selection of food at breakfast great. Didn’t like the reserving sun beds so went to 2 different hotels and used theirs free of charge

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and overall it was good. When we arrived we didn’t like the room but this was quickly rectified. In a great location for walking everywhere. Rooms were small and quite modern and very clean. Staff were friendly. The only thing I could fault is the queues at breakfast which resulted in food being cold! There is a booking system for sunbeds €5 for half a day but can be redeemed at pool bar.

Very pretty and great views. We were not able to make breakfast due to an early departure. The dining/bar situation was odd and not too efficient. Staffing and general flow of traffic for dining seemed to be an issue

We had guaranteed 2 pm check in but the desk person wouldn’t check us in until 3 pm. The room was nice and had an excellent view. However, the bed was unacceptable . We had booked a Deluxe Sea View Room With Balcony. The bed was a king size box but had 2 single mattresses made up as singles. There was a gap between the two mattresses that made the bed two single beds close together. Made sleep extremely difficult.

This location and building were beautiful. The staff was not friendly, when we asked for a room other than the one literally next to the front desk they insisted we had to pay an upgrade fee. We asked for water which they never brought. We asked for assistance with our AC and they never came. Great location but overpriced for the experience.
