The room was clean, however, there were no extra towels, no toiletries, tissues, etc. Not even a bar of soap to wash your hands. There was a small fridge in the room but no microwave. No access to coffee, water, ice. When we checked in, the room was left unlocked with the key on the table which was a little unsettling.

The property is a little old, but it is very well managed and cared. Rooms are spacious and parking is easy. The service can improve a little, and things like the WiFi password should be easily available. But overall, it is a good non-expensive stay in the area.

I booked on short notice and chose the low price. So my expectations weren't too high. But checking in 2 hours after booking I was quite disappointed when they told me they had not turned on the heat in my room yet and I found the room not that clean. For example the bedding was clean but the carpet was clearly not vacuumed. I cleaned the room a bit myself before I felt I could settle in. Also just FYI there is no place on the property to get a cup of coffee.

The room was large. The bathroom had plenty of counter space. The room had a back door to a seated area overlooking a large lawn and flower beds. Management let us open both doors and we had a nice breeze .

Needed a place to stay overnight before the Peru Fair. Arrived a little later in the evening, but was greeted with a friendly smile and checked in immediately. Room was clean, way bigger than I expected, and had everything I needed for an overnight stay. It was dark when I arrived and when I left, but parking area was very well lit and I enjoyed a nice quiet night. Great price and a huge value for the area.

We enjoyed the large rooms, comfortable beds, ease of parking compared to other properties in the area, and the deck off the back of the room. There are no amenities (food, shampoo, conditioner) but this hotel is a very good value for the price and I'd highly recommend it to travelers on a budget.

Arrived the room was so cold I couldn’t even stay in the room I literally left the property and came back hours later. Beds look like they were grabbed from the dumb. Bathroom door has pealing paint ceiling everywhere is moldy. Today I’m realizing I have bug bites all over my body. I arrived late so I couldn’t just decline with room and find another hotel. But this was NOT from a good experience. I cannot believe I spent the night there.

The interior of this motel was extremely tired/rundown. Shower fixtures were loose, holes/tares in the carpet, damage to the interior walls etc. The toilet in the bathroom had not been cleaned after the previous stay leaving "skid marks" in the toilet bowl.

Beautiful grounds but the room was a mess, outdated and messy. Dead bugs on the walls, stains in the shower, and shower rod coming out of the wall. The toilet was missing a screw from the seat too.

Spacious room. Clean. Quiet. Fairly comfortable. Room was cold as ice when I arrived and I cranked the heater to 80 degrees and ran the blow dryer to warm up the room. Took much of the night to do it.

The property outside is large and set back from the road so it is quiet. The room itself was clean but in dire need of updating and repairs. For example...the bedside lamp was falling apart and did not work, the shower curtain rod was pulling out of the wall, and the ceiling lights were filled with dead bugs. The bed was comfortable which was a huge plus. Given some tender loving care this location would be a gem.

ALARMING. Young couple arrived 12:00am and were refused their prepaid room. They were told check in ended at 10:00 pm. They ended up driving all night to return home to phila. If a small motel cannot operate after 10pm they should not be in expedia

Staff and owners were very nice and polite, and very helpful. We had a very nice stay. It was very close to the Lincoln Hildene House.

The front "office" was completely dark and closed when we arrived at 6pm. We ended up driving around the facility front a couple of times before ringing the door bell to have a gentlemen come downstairs, turn the lights on, and quickly give us a key to a room. He was nice, but no information was provided including wifi code. The room was what one might expect from a motel for the cost. It was clean, but exceptionally outdated. A random plank of wood was just on the floor. The heating system worked, but was very loud and didn't operate at the temperature we set. It was great for the price, but not sure I'd stay again

Good nice cost effective place to stay in town. Only thing that got me check in was very odd and not clear. The check in area was dark and i had to ring a doorbell 10 times to finally get in. We came in late.

Overall I think it's a good hotel to stay for a night. Of course, it doesn't have all the amenities that other big hotels have. However, at least for my husband and I, we think it's ok. I also had to do late check-in but gladly I didn't run into issues like others had.

Office hours stay 8am-10pm…doors were locked both times we arrived. No one answers the phone, not even for Expedia who tried as well. It says special instructions will be sent on how to check in…. Not…and you can’t reach them. Clean but horrible…stay away.

Val is updating the motel and is super friendly. The location can’t be beat, stunning views of the green mountains! The rooms are older but he’s keeping everything clean and functional.

Nice motel location, the building and grounds are nicely maintained. The room was clean but the rooms are clearly dated (70’s?) and it shows. Could be an incredible motel if it was updated! The area is super close and convenient to the city.

Very nice room. No complaints. Plenty of room. There was ample counter space next to the refregiator to set up my laptop and another monitor. I would stay here again. its 35 minutes from Stratton and 1 hour from Killington.

The room was clean, however, there were no extra towels, no toiletries, tissues, etc. Not even a bar of soap to wash your hands. There was a small fridge in the room but no microwave. No access to coffee, water, ice. When we checked in, the room was left unlocked with the key on the table which was a little unsettling.

Good - Owner was very accommodating to our needs. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, Could be better - Difficult to tell where the office was. Some late check-in people were very noisy. Rooms are very outdated and need to be spruced up (peeling wallpaper, some locks not functional. Holes in wall where headboard and bathroom heater were.)

I booked on short notice and chose the low price. So my expectations weren't too high. But checking in 2 hours after booking I was quite disappointed when they told me they had not turned on the heat in my room yet and I found the room not that clean. For example the bedding was clean but the carpet was clearly not vacuumed. I cleaned the room a bit myself before I felt I could settle in. Also just FYI there is no place on the property to get a cup of coffee.

Large room with a large bathroom. I wasn't informed about the continental breakfast at check in. There wasn't a phone in the room to contact the front desk.

We enjoyed the large rooms, comfortable beds, ease of parking compared to other properties in the area, and the deck off the back of the room. There are no amenities (food, shampoo, conditioner) but this hotel is a very good value for the price and I'd highly recommend it to travelers on a budget.

No services available, no ice machine. No one ever at the office if you need anything. Rooms out of date. Ceiling in bathroom falling. Cracked tiles. Dirty carpet. Decorated in early yard sale. Not worth the nightly fee.

I am very happy with the Weathervane Motel. I was in Manchester for my friend's wedding and this place was a great choice. It is close to the town center, well maintained, and an easy location to find. The property itself was very pretty, and quiet. We didn't use the pool, but I did see it outback and it was nice and private. The room has older furniture, but it was very cute. The room we had was quite large, clean, and everything worked great. I know I've seen mixed reviews but this place was pretty good. The staff were also friendly and helpful. Definitely check this place out!

Spacious room with fridge and cable tv. Lots of dresser room. Comfy bed. Updated bathroom but the water takes time to heat up and then there isn't a lot of water pressure. Close to everything I needed. Would stay again for sure.

This was the second consecutive year that I chose to stay at The Weathervane, for 3 nights, while attending a nearby music festival. The value, relative to all other lodging choices in the area, is unmistakeable. Large room with comfortable bed and good shower...all I needed to be a happier 'camper' than those overnighting at the festival! The property shows its age. But, if you're not seeking pampering, this would remain my choice.

Nice clean place to stay a few days. Hard to find staff to check in and out as the reception isn’t manned full time. However they are friendly and helpful when you find them. Large comfortable rooms and nice sitting area behind the room. If there was a breakfast available it would be an excellent and reasonable choice
