The staff was very friendly and helpful the hotel was very clean. However, the lounge chairs in pool area were all torn but 1 which was being used. It was not a relaxing experience at all. The sitting area for breakfast was limited and not a comfortable space to eat in

Nice hotel, but it is starting to age quite a bit. Needs a refresh pretty bad. Towels are tired, my room had cracked glass in the window, the only elliptical machine in the gym was broken, etc. with that being said, the price was low, and the breakfast/amenities were sufficient for my needs.

I had stay at the Springhill Suites in the East side before and I was expecting the same level at this location but it was some way disappointed because this hotel is not new. It is an old hotel with some renovations to resemble the one I mentioned. The room was clean but the carpet at the aisle between rooms and in the elevator are stained. The TV set in the room is malfunctioning with blinking pixels like it was raining inside of it. When we tried to check-in the receptionist was nowhere to be found. It took some minutes to appear from a room behind the reception like he was busy doing other stuff there. Even a guy was there trying to pay for a soft drink he took from the fridge and he asked me if I worked there. At night it was the same. We came back from doing some shopping and went to the elevators but no receptionist there again. The morning breakfast was very limited unlike the one at the same hotel in the East. It lacked some basic products like bagels, pastry, white bread and so on. It has two elevators but just one was working. On the positive side, the zone around is quiet at night and stores and restaurants are nearby. Not sure if we will stay again there in the future.

The hotel started off by charging me an unadvertised $10 for parking in a normal motel parking lot, no security no gate, no reason to charge but for extra money. Then the staff was marginally friendly at best, in fact I walked up the desk and said good morning and got a blank stare no reaction at all. I just needed a laundry bag since there was not one in the room. In the room the bathroom floor was stained and dirty, In the sitting area of the room the couch was so filthy we couldn’t even sit on it. They need some attention to detail her for sure

When we got to the hotel, parking was terrible couldn’t find parking at all, the gentleman that helped us check in was super friendly, unfortunately, I didn’t get his name, but the manager was the most rude person I’ve ever met, doesn’t smile, doesn’t greet people, doesn’t think people, we weren’t the only ones there that she was rude to. When getting inside the room, there was an ugly smell, not sure if the carpets were dirty, there were stains on the sheets, that look like oil stains, or something, carpet didn’t look like it was vacuumed. In the halls, also the weekend we stayed they’re not once were they vacuumed, we saw the same trash from the day. We got there till the day we left.

There is very little sound isolation between floors, I could hear the guest above my room walking back and forth @ 6 AM, which wasn't the best for my sleeping in. If I stay there again I'll book a room on the top floor. Parking requires a $5 per day fee, which despite Expedia showing a "real price" wasn't included, and there didn't seem to be any real reason for this except to make more money and hide the actual cost of a stay as every hotel is required by code to have X number of parking spaces for each room, so it's just another corporate shell game. I doubt that they even bother to enforce it, so maybe that's on me too. Staff was friendly and efficient, no complaints there, and the hotel was clean. I didn't use the exercise room or pool so I can't comment about those.

The place was great. Nice and fancy looking. Clean. Quiet. Parking was alright. Breakfast was alright. Walmart across the street. And a variety of restaurants very close by. Ate at Leo's Mexican food restaurant, recommended. The price, food, and people were all good. The only thing I didn't like was that I wasn't made aware there would be a parking fee and a $20 reimbursable fee that is mandatory just in case you took something and/or something happened to the room. Would recommend and have and will stay again.

My room was not cleaned and towels were not replaced over my 3 night stay. I had to go to reception to grab some . Carpets on the hallways are dirty. I cant believe Marriot allows this faults on the brand regulations.

The rooms were very dirty. The first room, there were splatters of something all over the couch and tons of spots on the couch. I have littles that have to sleep on the couch so I talked to the gentleman at the front desk and he immediately moved me to a new room. The couch was cleaner- still a spot on the couch but I thought it would be okay. My kids saw a medicine cup with pink stuff still in it on the back of the TV, there were peanuts all over the floor by the dresser the TV was on. I walked by one of the beds and heard crinkling so I moved the dust ruffle and found a bag of chips spilled on the floor! I told the same gentleman and showed pictures. He took the pictures of the pictures and said he would talk to the housekeeping manager. My kids and I were exhausted, we opted to stay in the 2nd room as the beds at least looked clean and we were exhausted from driving 12 hours. I used to work for Marriott. I was very surprised at the lack of cleanliness. I was also very surprised the only solution offered was to move me to another dirty room- there was no real resolution to the problem and we stayed in a very unhygienic room! Marriott standards definitely were not upheld here!

Check-in was quick and easy I got to the room. There was no Netflix feature on the TV although there was a feature on the remote a shower in the handicap room had bars on it that were not conducive to exiting or entering the shower therefore as a handicap person, I was not able to bathe. It’s very unfortunate Dated room. I’m sure it was really nice when it was built.

No Internet in the room. Was told a dismissive "that happens" and suggested I use the internet in the lobby. Internet in my room being a common expected amenity, greatly impacted my experience at the hotel.

The TV wasn’t working. We arrived late so there wasn’t staff to help fixing the tv. They should make sure everything is working before renting the room. My stay there was very disappointing.

This was a great home base for seeing Carlsbad Caverns to the East and White Sands to the Northeast in one weekend. This was the quietest and nicest place we've stayed at during 5 hotel stays in the last year. We always choose 3 star hotels. Room architecture helped bl9ck bed from hallway noise.0

The guy working the desk was RUDE and beyond worthless. Im 90% blind i made him aware of this but he never mentioned the hotel policy on not allowing food delivery to the room. I waited for 2 hours after ordering a pizza to find out it had been sitting at the front desk. I yelled at the pizza restaurant because the guy at the hotel front desk didnt call or tell me about this policy. When i went down to get my pizza he laughed at me for asking why he never told me. The guy said its not his job to call or tell me anything. Then i got charged for parking. IM BLIND. I DONT DRIVE I GOT DROPPED OFF. This hotel is worthless.

Staff at front desk were indifferent in general and most often not there. Did spend time in back having fun conversations, though. Noticed that when I passed through, no greeting was offered unless I spoke first. Property is fine for the price and location.

Our stay was terrible. Once we arrived to our room, we needed to prepare for an engagement, however, the shower door was not working. We had to wait for maintenance to come fix it, making us late to to our engagement. The next night, we arrived needing to shower and plan for an early appointment the following morning, and again the shower door was not working. Maintenance was not available and we could not shower unless we moved to another room, at 1 o'clock in the morning! The next morning we tried to speak to the manager, Josie, but she was never available, and we were not able to speak with her. The maintenance man mentioned that these particular rooms were in the process of being renovated, so he wasn't surprised that we were having issues. So why would the Marriott rent out substandard rooms?

I had stay at the Springhill Suites in the East side before and I was expecting the same level at this location but it was some way disappointed because this hotel is not new. It is an old hotel with some renovations to resemble the one I mentioned. The room was clean but the carpet at the aisle between rooms and in the elevator are stained. The TV set in the room is malfunctioning with blinking pixels like it was raining inside of it. When we tried to check-in the receptionist was nowhere to be found. It took some minutes to appear from a room behind the reception like he was busy doing other stuff there. Even a guy was there trying to pay for a soft drink he took from the fridge and he asked me if I worked there. At night it was the same. We came back from doing some shopping and went to the elevators but no receptionist there again. The morning breakfast was very limited unlike the one at the same hotel in the East. It lacked some basic products like bagels, pastry, white bread and so on. It has two elevators but just one was working. On the positive side, the zone around is quiet at night and stores and restaurants are nearby. Not sure if we will stay again there in the future.

When we got to the hotel, parking was terrible couldn’t find parking at all, the gentleman that helped us check in was super friendly, unfortunately, I didn’t get his name, but the manager was the most rude person I’ve ever met, doesn’t smile, doesn’t greet people, doesn’t think people, we weren’t the only ones there that she was rude to. When getting inside the room, there was an ugly smell, not sure if the carpets were dirty, there were stains on the sheets, that look like oil stains, or something, carpet didn’t look like it was vacuumed. In the halls, also the weekend we stayed they’re not once were they vacuumed, we saw the same trash from the day. We got there till the day we left.

The room was clean, the size of the room, the staff is very friendly, the location is perfect Things I didn’t like: the location of the tv, the soapy water and unfortunately one elevator went out of service for a few hours, I’m pretty aware this not a fault from the hotel. It’s a great hotel and definitely I will stay again

Hotel was ok. There is a sister hotel right next door and everyone from that hotel was coming to this hotel to use amenities and eat breakfast. So every morning there was so many people in the breakfast area fighting for food and there was no where to sit. The rooms were good, except the layout of our room was really weird. There’s was a couch but you couldn’t even watch tv because of the layout. There was a wardrobe closet which was nice, but no lights? Upon checking out found out there was an additional charge for parking. BS!

Breakfast buffet was messy and they ran out of food at 10am. Then had to wait for restock of sausage, waffles, and coffee. Not enough seating. My key got deactivated 1 hour before checkout. But room was clean. Pool was real nice and clean. Staff was friendly.

They are currently doing construction on the site and DID NOT disclose that when booking on the website. We booked the hotel specifically for the pool as we have children and that would be helpful entertainment. Not only that our air conditioner in our room did not go lower than 78. Whomever was at the front desk gave my husband a hard time about moving us to a different room, but we eventually were able to be moves. The staff at the front desk were rarely visible and when waiting took a long time to come to the front desk. Breakfast was ok for a hotel breakfast nothing to complain about with that. As far as the dining area the tables could have been wiped down. I sat there for about an hour and saw not one staff member come by to see if the open tables have been cleaned.
