Millers Den at Avenwood Cabins

Beautiful area hot tub was great. But muddy with no rugs to combat the mess

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. The property was nice and cozy, the view from the deck was beautiful, and the atmosphere was peaceful. Would recommend

It was a great lil last minute trip. Very clean. Very accessible. Suggestions tv maybe in bedroom, little bit bigger couch maybe and suggestion close off wall on back side of hot tub. The lid slides through to ground when you take off. I don’t think the hot tub was cleaned before we came like it stated. The area was great. Thanks!

The cabin itself was very clean but the hot tub gave me folliculitis. While it may have been “cleaned” there is obviously bacteria in the water. Also the jets and lights did not work as expected. The check in process was very easy and I got many texts and emails checking in but I would reply to those texts saying I needed something and get no response. I could not get the fireplace to work and asked the property manager about it and never got a response. I asked for more towels and got no response. When I booked the cabin that said there was a fireplace I expected a working one. The property is great, it was very quiet because it was January, but I would say it was definitely off season and I hope that in the busy season people have a better experience.
