5BR Retreat: Waterfront, Kayaks, BBQ & More

This property was exactly what we were looking for when planning our family’s three-generation Christmas vacation. From the daily warmth from the beautiful fireplace providing endless opportunities for a s’more to multiply spaces for meals, games, crafts, and puzzles to the comfy bedrooms providing private spaces, we had a wonderful time making memories. Communications were great and the property was clean and equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals, including the Blackstone grill. We are thankful for the hospitality, blessed by our time in Wautoma, and would recommend this property to others without hesitation.

Perfect place to stay for a golf trip. House was great with a great sunset view over the lake.

5 Stars. Amazing open concept home on a flat lot with pier on shallow lake. Small sand area for kids - our Grandkids had so much fun swimming to the raft (about 4' deep) & back. Enjoyed the use of the multiple Kayaks & Paddle Board. Some life jackets are available, however, you'll likely want to bring childrens for proper sizing. Deck & deck furniture are great together with fire pit & wood provided. We did bring lawn chairs & recommend you do too for around the fire pit. Washline with clothes pins for wet towels & suits. Lots of dishes, pots, pans, baking pans, etc. Keurig coffee maker (no coffee pot though). There are two outdoor keypad locks (one on the front door & one on the front bench) so be sure to clarify which keypad the Code you will be provided with will be for. Parking is in the driveway (2) or just off the gravel road on the grass (3) preceeding the trash bins.

Everyone enjoyed the quiet, serene lake. Paddleboarding, kayaking and a rental pontoon boat were the highlights.The lake is very weedy and shallow so swimming was not great. Home was comfortable.
