Lovely quaint old guesthouse. Clean and good location especially for walking into town or Hawkstone Brewery. Good value, nice bar and breakfast. We did not eat dinner as the town centre 5 minutes walk away had lots of alternatives. Good stay. Recommended.

Asked for a double bed, even received a phone call the day before arrival asking what type of bed setup we wanted, but was given a twin bed set up. Room definitely needs an upgrade. Charged £45 for a small dog for 3 nights totally over the top. Shower tray did not drain well and nearly flooded the bathroom. Since our visit 7 years ago the pub is more geared to an overpriced restaurant rather than somewhere comfortable to have a drink. Will not be returning.
