The hotel and staff were very nice. They had two weddings going the weekend we stayed so the outdoor fire place and dining area were booked the whole time. The hotel is very pricy for what you get. It is conveniently located. They have hiking trails and continental breakfast, which was nice. Their dinner menu was very limited and pricy.

What a beautiful place to stay! This property is situated right where the river meets the ocean. It has a gorgeous cove, access to a nice little beach, outdoor pool with service and everyone is so nice and friendly! You feel really welcome and the place is very clean. The food was delicious! The breakfast buffet was top notch! We loved our stay with a beautiful view of the harbor. Can’t wait to return!

My fiancé loved her massage at the spa and we really enjoy the food at the restaurant. Overall, the rooms were nice and clean, we had no issues. The cliff walk is right on the property and is a must see!

This was our first time staying at the Stage Neck Inn. From the moment we arrived the staff was so nice, customer focused and very helpful. We ate at the restaurant and the food and drinks were very good and the scenery for a cold rainy day was impeccable. Our room was spacious. The only critique we have is our bed wasn't as comfortable as we'd like, but understand bed firmness/cushion is a very personal thing so some people probably love it. The other was the hot tub was out of service and we hoped to use it, but that will be for another visit!! Thanks to the staff for a nice couple of days off to enjoy some peace and quiet around the holidays!

Everything! The room was very comfortable with seating and a nice fireplace. We sat here this morning drinking our coffee looking at the storm pushing the waves. Lovely, safe, quiet and comfortable.

My only two comments would be First, I paid for a room with a up Beach Waterview. It was really more of a parking lot view. Secondly, rechecked and we were told Breakfast was served till 1030. That information was wrong as we found out the next morning. We went down at a quarter after 10. They stopped serving at 10. On the side, the staff is very nice and we had an excellent dinner in their dining room.

Almost everything about our stay was perfect—the exquisite setting, the rooms, the amenities. The only thing that wasn’t was the service in the dining room. The food was quite delicious, but the service was quite slow both nights we ate there.

Nice 4 star hotel. Clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. Had some trouble finding our reservation upon check in and again at breakfast. It was finally rectified. Breakfast was included and was very good. The restaurant has a very special view of both the river and the ocean. Service was generally welcoming except for delayed checkin because our reservation was not easily found in their system. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

The staff was very attentive and friendly. The breakfast buffet was awesome. Dinners were very good too. Cant wait to come back. The only drawback was not about the Inn, but the surrounding area. If you are looking for anything to do in the area, York really doesnt have much to do. What we found is you will need to drive at least 20 minutes for any type of shopping or night life.

What a beautiful place to stay! This property is situated right where the river meets the ocean. It has a gorgeous cove, access to a nice little beach, outdoor pool with service and everyone is so nice and friendly! You feel really welcome and the place is very clean. The food was delicious! The breakfast buffet was top notch! We loved our stay with a beautiful view of the harbor. Can’t wait to return!

The property and rooms are beautiful. We stayed in a harbor view room that was very private and quiet. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the the boats on the river. Having the small beach right next to the hotel was a plus.

Almost everything about our stay was perfect—the exquisite setting, the rooms, the amenities. The only thing that wasn’t was the service in the dining room. The food was quite delicious, but the service was quite slow both nights we ate there.

The hotel and staff were very nice. They had two weddings going the weekend we stayed so the outdoor fire place and dining area were booked the whole time. The hotel is very pricy for what you get. It is conveniently located. They have hiking trails and continental breakfast, which was nice. Their dinner menu was very limited and pricy.

The hotel location is amazing and the staff are so friendly. Prices for food etc., are a little high, but considering where it is and the hotel "star" rating - anticipated. Surprisingly they do not offer a corkage service if you bring your own wine, so don't do this as they will take the bottle and return it to you when you leave.

You won’t be disappointed as this is one of my favorite places to go for a summer vacation. It has everything you need and it is great for weddings, couples and families! Also, it is a close drive to other beaches and shops. They did a wonderful job for my daughter’s wedding in 2020. I just recently went back for a relaxing trip and I will definitely return. Great staff and mesmerizing view of the ocean.

The person who checked me in didn’t explain anything (including that free drinks and breakfast were included or where anything was). We ended up buying drinks at the pool because we didn’t realize we had small pieces of paper behind the key cards that entitled us to drinks. When I explained to the woman at check out, she didn’t seem to care. Generally not very hospitable staff.

York , Maine is lovely. Our room at he STAGE NECK INN did not have hot water in our shower and there was nothing bathtub as pictured.When we told the front desk we were told they were aware and there was nothing they could do until after our stay was over. They said they could not upgrade our room because we booked through Expedia. The view of York Beach was lovely from our Balcony. The Spa is closed on Monday and Tuesday, our stay was Sunday- Tuesday. I am very disappointed with the management and the lack of accountability regarding the hot water situation, especially after finding out they were aware of the problem prior to our arrival. The beds were cozy comfortable and the sound of the waves on the seashore was wonderful. The waitstaff in the dining room were all kind and very friendly.
