Outdated, fridge didn't work, knobs missing from dresser, could see daylight through the door, things in obvious disrepair. No outoodt lighting when we arrived after dark.

Although it is a quaint little hotel, the pictures online are very deceiving. We had to buy a fan to help cool the room down because the AC was not enough. It is very worn down. Water smells horrible, low water pressure. The cleaning guy knocked but just walked right on in the room before we could answer the door. The walking deck was flooded. Needs lots of updates, including the curtains and flooring. We would not stay here again!! 1.5 stars out of 5 just because the staff at the front desk was very friendly at check in!!

The Lake Erie Lodge is an old facility that is OK if you are expecting to just sleep and get to fishing or other activity. The rooms are very old and worn, but they were clean. The desk lady was nice and helpful. Not a place you are going to want to hang out in the room, but if you just need a cheap bed and shower, ok. Bring your own pillow. The two on the bed were very small.
