Holiday Haus: Summer Awaits at Lake Cowden

We absolutely loved everything about this property. The house is beautiful, the view of the lake is beautiful, you feel very safe, the homeowner/property mgmt firm thought of everything, and the communication from the property mgmt firm was excellent. We cannot say enough positive about it, probably our best ever rental experience and we have rented A LOT!

We had a great stay at the Holiday Haus. The lake was beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The house had everything that we needed and more. It was a perfect long weekend away with our two young kids and dog.

Holiday Haus is a great place to relax and unwind. The main floor is spacious and the kitchen is well stocked to cook meals. The outdoor space is nice too. We visited in the fall so the temps were cool which made the indoor fireplace and the outdoor firepit cozy! The home is beautifully decorated! My one suggestion would be to have one bigger bed on the lower level instead of two bedrooms with twin beds.

We had a great time on a family vacation here. The kids loved swimming in the lake and using the paddleboards. We had some family over for the afternoons, and there was enough space to be really comfortable and social. The air conditioning kept the house nice and cool. We all had a great time!

We can’t say enough good things about our recent stay at the “Holiday Haus”. The interior was spacious, open and new; the lake access and views were exceptional; and the house was well stocked for cooking, entertaining (for kids of all ages) and beach/lake fun with kayaks, boards and raft. We would have stayed longer had it worked out! Easy communication with management company and iPad with instructions and information. Only advice is to come fully prepared or stop at Walmart Supercenter before arriving given the 25 minute drive. And don’t forget wood for the fire pit - although some was kindly left there for us - because it was a perfect ending to our short stay.
