Everything was fine until the last night. The pool is supposed to close at dusk but there were people partying by the pool until super late without any supervision from staff. If I had to bet, there were no staff even there. It was just a little weird because there was no barrier where my room was so it was like I was at the party.

We have stayed at the central motel a handful of times. Absolutely love it on every visit! Can hardly believe it is rated as a two star motel. Rooms are large and clean with tons of floor space. So bright and comfortable. Not a large hotel chain so maybe doesn’t have the same amenities but has an amazing restaurant right on site and a really nice pool. Highly, highly recommend!

If you're here to ride the Withlacoochee State Trail, I highly recommend staying here. It's very clean and right on the trail at approximately 30mm. It's not fancy but it has a pool and a chain link, covered shed to lock your bikes in. Several places to eat just a few miles away, but otherwise it's a simple town with little else to explore. The staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean and comfortable.

This was our second time staying here. My only complaint is the rug in the motel room is was extremely DIRTY. The bottoms of our feet were black! Even after we showered!

The room was immaculately clean. Nikki showed great attention to detail in not only cleaning every nook and cranny before my arrival, she had everything perfectly placed, as if she had readied it for a photo session. When I return to Inverness in October, I will definitely stay at the Central Motel. Perhaps to her advantage, everything including paint, bathroom fixtures, flooring, etc. looked brand new.

We've stayed twice and would probably stay here again if needed. The rooms are nice and large. The main thing that was disturbing was the blinds on the window had no controls on it so it was difficult to close and couldn't drop it enough to block the window. We wound up draping a towel across the bottom so no one could look in.

Stayed here two nights for an event in the area. Old motel that seems reasonably well-kept. Still uses old-fashioned keys instead of key-cards. Entrance and parking lot could use more lighting. Room seemed clean. No overhead lighting in the main room. TV remote didn’t work well. Shower worked very well and hot water was consistent. Bed was okay, and the pillows were just the right thickness for comfortable side sleeping. However, I didn’t sleep well either night. I think a big reason was the A/C was almost within reach of the bed (usually close for almost any motel), so too much air was blowing on me. The room had a small balcony, but the view was blocked by heavily wooded area about ten feet away.

I think I have stayed here six times over the years. That is why I returned. It looked like some remodeling was done which was nice. Walking into the room we immediately felt excess moisture. Figured they had just turned on the AC so it would go away. Not so! For three days everything we brought into the room and all our cloths felt wet. It was disgusting, Add to that the window blind had no controls to open or close it. I hope they can get the problem fixed, the people are nice, and the place is convenient for visiting my family, but I will stay elsewhere in the future.

Very nice Motel with clean rooms and real towels (not those shop rag towels you get at most motels). There are a few different buildings, and the one I stayed in was back from the road a bit, so it was quiet. The only drawback here was the fact that I had no wifi in my room whatsoever during my overnight stay. Upon check-in I was told there had been power surges in the area, and to expect that I may have to reboot the television. When I got to my room the TV was fine, but there was no wifi. Numerous attempts by hotel staff to correct the issue failed (though it did finally work in the hotel lobby), So I had no wifi in my room. Other than that, all was well.

We stay here often and love this mom & pop type place. There is easy access right behind the hotel to the 'Rails-to Trails" path and the hotel is always clean and comfortable. This stay, we were only here overnight and had put up the "Do not Disturb" sign to let housekeeping know we were not up and out yet but at 8:30 AM that was disregarded and she knocked on our door. :( i understand that these may be left on doors as people check out but never until closer/after check out time. Please don't let this happen again? We'd like to come back!

This is the best place to stay if you are riding the Withalacoochie Trail. It will be nice when the restaurant is back open, but there are plenty of dining options nearby. We have stayed there several times. Nothing fancy, but adequate to the task and very convenient for the trail

A very nice place to stay for a reasonably priced motel. Room was nice and clean and cool. The housekeeper was very nice and let us know we could leave the key in the room for check out. The front desk gentleman made recommendations for both dinner and breakfast. Its not a fancy place but we'd gladly stay again.

Comfortable beds but pillows in this room need to be replaced. Room was clean with the exception of the floor which needed a wash. Tap water was not fit to drink. New restaurant owned by the hotel was refurbished but chef and wait staff couldn't get my eggs right even though mostly empty of customers.

I have stayed here before and it does not disappoint… quiet, clean, simple… the area is not interesting, but the Cinnamon Stick restauant next doir and the seafood restaurant across the street are also great!

Our plans prevented us from exploring the property or taking advantage of the amenities. Our room appeared to be clean and we didn't require any assistance with anything. However, we were quite uncomfortable in the room because everything was damp, including the bed. There was also an unpleasant, musty odor.

This hotel is simply excellent! Check-in, daily service, very helpful staff, and allowing me to extend my stay by 3 days without changing rooms. Absolutely fantastic!

I think the floors needed to be clean better. I walked around with my bare feet and they felt pretty dirty when I went to wash them with a towel. My tail came out pretty black. I was also told that if I needed towels just to put the dirty ones outside and I would get some clean ones it did not happen. They said that I put it out too late. Well that’s funny when I was checking in somebody was getting clean towels, cause the girl at the register was making sure that they got them. They also said that there would be fruit as a courtesy and I never saw any but other than that the room was good. Appreciate it thank you.
