We had a wonderful stay except for the pool wasn't unacceptable. Looked like it had dirt or something like mud substances in it.Was very disappointed cause the water was warm when I felt it. Otherwise they stay was very quiet at night. The breakfast was very poor on selection.

An elevator would have been nice. Rooms very adequate, but when you remodel, please consider replacing the toilets with taller ones. The old low ones are hard on old knees!

Room was all good, clean but nothing special. Staff was helpful but didn't need much for just one night. The outside looked a little neglected. Could have used some landscaping or something to make it a little more appealing than just a 2-story rectangle.

Staff was friendly and although hotel old, it was cleaner than most newer hotels we’ve stayed in. Bed was comfortable and room had plenty of supplies needed to ensure comfort and of course it was wonderfully CLEAN!

The room was indeed clean and peaceful, and the bed provided a great deal of comfort. The bathroom was also maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness. The staff members were exceptionally helpful and friendly. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay, and we would certainly consider returning in the future. The breakfast was satisfactory. There were cold biscuits, which I warmed in the microwave, and sausage gravy to accompany them. Cold cereal was also available. Bread for toast and bagels were provided, along with milk, juice, and coffee.

The lady at check in was very nice. The first thing that hit me about the room was the moldy/musty smell from the AC unit. Got that turned off and thankfully the window opened. The pool was a little cold and there was green mold/algae on the bottom in several spots. Facility definitely needs updating.

This is an older Hotel so it has some wear and tear but it clean, the beds are very comfortable the breakfast was a nice quick and light. Coffee was hot and tasty. Very comfortable place to stay .

We enjoyed our stay. Had stayed at a different location in past; was booked this year. The hallways are somewhat dated, but upon entering our room, we were completely happy. Clean, comfortable beds, quiet. AM, plenty of coffee and light eats. Since we have family in the Boone/ Ogden area, we visit frequently. We will only stay at this location in the future. Completely satisfied.

Conveniently located on IA Hwy 30 in Boone. Easy check in, friendly desk staff. Quiet, clean, and spacious king room with the usual furnishings. Unfortunately, for me, the bed was too hard so I couldn’t get comfortable. Typical continental breakfast options. Would stay here again; good value for $$$.

The room had torn wall coverings with some tape holding it together, the shower was atrocious - could not get a decent spray. Everything in the room was dated. Could hear people walking in the room above us. Windows and screens were dirty and the carpet looked dirty, too. Breakfast was so so. Finally, the room “key” was very iffy about unlocking outer door and room.

We had a group of 12 people. The pool was cold, they do not allow any food or drinks in the pool if you had anything in there it was a $50 fine charged to the room. They would not let us use the breakfast room for our group as she rudely said it’s just for breakfast. We were there 2 hours and had to leave. These rules should be posted on the website to eliminate people from waiting their money.

I had reserved 2 nights, but realized we only needed one night. She told me to cancel the 2nd night thru Expedia, but Expedia said it was too late and I’d have to pay for the 2nd night anyway. When I turned in my key the front desk told me they only require 24 hours notice…. So why didn’t she just let me cancel the 2nd night when I asked for it?! I ended up paying for it even though we didn’t stay! Disappointed in both her and Expedia…!

I would never stay here again. The night shift receptionist is extremely rude and unpleasant to work with. The facilities are outdated and dilapidated in comparison to the photos they choose to share online. The showers are moldy with cracked, peeling caulking. In my opinion, this hotel is overpriced and disgusting. Save yourself and stay somewhere else.

The property needs a major update. Outside paint is peeling. Carpets are OLD. Floors feel soft. All the pillows are the same size - over stuffed. I had to sleep on a towel. Bathrooms are small and outdated. Staff was not friendly. I was not acknowledged when I stood at the counter. Not a good experience all around.

Unfortunately, for me, the bed was too hard so I couldn’t get comfortable. Typical continental breakfast options. Would stay here again; good value for $$$.

Clean. Friendly helpful staff. Nice pool. We'd stay again. Close to bike trails with trailheads in Woodward and Madrid. A little eprn looking on the outside but fine inside. Next to a Walmart.

This is a fantastic city. The hotel was just as we expected. The kids loved the pool and the breakfast. The location is near Walmart, Fareway, gas stations and restaurants. Good deal here!

The room was indeed clean and peaceful, and the bed provided a great deal of comfort. The bathroom was also maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness. The staff members were exceptionally helpful and friendly. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay, and we would certainly consider returning in the future. The breakfast was satisfactory. There were cold biscuits, which I warmed in the microwave, and sausage gravy to accompany them. Cold cereal was also available. Bread for toast and bagels were provided, along with milk, juice, and coffee.

We had a wonderful stay except for the pool wasn't unacceptable. Looked like it had dirt or something like mud substances in it.Was very disappointed cause the water was warm when I felt it. Otherwise they stay was very quiet at night. The breakfast was very poor on selection.

For a smaller, older hotel, I thought this place was clean and the pool area was nice too. Breakfast did kind of such though. There was not much to choose from. I rated high star though because I was very pleased with everything

There was a dead cricket on the bathroom floor. Not sure how it got there or when since housekeeping didn't remove it. The lady at the front desk did remove it. Then I found a sock on the floor by the ironing board that was left by a prior guest, which begs the question of how well housekeeping is cleaning. The bed seemed clean, so stayed anyway. The exterior door at the end of the hallway by room wouldn't open with my key, so I did have to walk around the property to another door, where my key did open the door. Breakfast was over at 9am, which seemed early. Most go until 10am. There was no Do Not Disturb sign to put on the doorknob, so even though I was checking out at 11am, I still had housekeeping knock on the door at 9am, which was annoying. The AC worked great, but was loud. Overall the property is old, not very clean, and needs updated.

The front desk is not staffed - you use the phone tp call for assistance at any hour. There is a very musty smell in the hallways. The shower in our room did not function. The rooms with two beds are full size beds - not queen. (I was aware from the listing but some people don't look closely). The breakfast is barely continental. For the price, I wasn't really expecting a lot, but a working shower would have been nice. Our grandson enjoyed the pool, though it is cool temp wise and NO pool toys are allowed.
