This was my husband and I first time at a b&b.We had a wonderful experience.Jim was very friendly and accommodating.breakfast was great.The hot tub was wonderful and the tub in the room was great the jets were strong.The room was clean and had everything we needed.very relaxing just wished we would have book for longer we will definitely go back

Property was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Jetted tub was perfect as was the king bed. The property had a wetland and we saw a heron on the first day! Breakfast was super tasty and the owners were informative, enjoyable, and fun to talk to!

Jim is an awesome host. Very congenial. The Jacuzzi bathtub was the best I’ve ever used. Did not love the steep stairs to get up to flights to our room nor all of the ladybugs on the ceiling though I understand what happened. We were in the middle of a forest and they were brought in to feast on an infestation of other creatures. Breakfast was good and enjoyed the company of the Mother and daughter from Chicago and South Bend. Wi-Fi was spotty and often weak so I could not get done when I needed to.

We were welcomed at the car with a very friendly hello. WOW! Such a nice place, and such a nice couple that own/run it. Very clean, very comfortable. Coffee service available 24/7. Pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast was worth the price of the room! I felt like royalty, being catered to. We so enjoyed our stay. We will go back there if we should spend the night again. Thanks Jim and Jill for your wonderful hospitality.

Our stay at the Lil Black Bear Inn was cozy, charming and exceptional. The Petunia room was immaculately clean and nicely decorated. We had a balcony to enjoy! The breakfast was delicious, generous, and creative. We especially enjoyed the scrambled eggs 😊 The host was friendly and welcoming. Overall, I would recommend the Lil Black Bear Inn.

The owner met me after I parked and introduced himself to me. My first time staying in a Bed & Breakfast. Very clean, comfortable, felt at home, was taken on a tour when I arrived, owner polite, made me feel safe staying there. I plan to stay next time in area.

Cute little B&B in the woods near where we were running a race and needed a place to stay for one night. The owner was very kind and helpful. The room was clean and neat, all amenities we needed were provided. Wish we could have had breakfast with them in the morning, but our race started before breakfast time!

Super comfortable country B&B with really friendly owner/host and great homemade hot breakfast. Room was good sized, and very comfortable bed. Just :15 outside cute town of Nashville with lots of shops & restaurants, and :10 from the huge Brown County State Park with several hiking trails.

Everything was excellent except for the bed. The bed was really soft and I felt like I sank into it making it hard to move once laying on it. Otherwise they are fantastic. Jim and Jill cook breakfast for everyone and cook your eggs to your liking. Scrambled eggs are EGGcelent! Peaceful sanctuary by the pond is great too. Loved the property and the inn. My first Bed and Breakfast experience and the only negative was the bed but I still slept.

Not far away from anything in Nashville, IN. They are just about 10 minutes east of Town. Jim and Jill were awsome folks and made the stay very welcoming. Nashville, IN is a wonderful place for a getaway.

We were greeted on time by the owner. He was very welcoming and very thorough in explaining everything we needed to know. We enjoyed the quiet, wooded surroundings of the location. The room was quaint and clean. We had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

We got an electric shock from the hot tub. We were charged a $20 fee for a our pet and weren’t told about this and the owner was not warm and welcoming. Also the room and bathroom were extremely small. We will not be back. The best part was the breakfast…2 eggs from their chickens bacon potatoes and toast.

The ceiling was creaking loudly all night long from the people in the room above. The male host was intrusive with his opinions during conversations among the guests and mean spirited to a guest who thought breakfast was at 9:30 instead of 9. He wouldn’t stop “teasing” her. It was very uncomfortable for the rest of us.

Jim and his wife were very warm and hospitable. The room was beautiful and seasonly decorated. We had an amazing view from our room. As someone who is vegan, they were very accommodating to my diet with breakfast and also wished my husband a Happy Birthday.

In spite of rain coming to Brown County, my fiance' and I celebrated our 20th anniversary at Lil Black Bear Inn, located in a rustic setting. Hosts Jim and Jill couldn't have been more welcoming and gracious. Their complimentary breakfast was a thing of beauty and got our day off to a wonderful start as we dined with other folks who'd also braved the wet elements on their travels to stop at this hamlet. We're hopeful of stopping there again, as our quaint room offered us rest and relaxation with either Columbus or Nashville mere minutes away. On the immediate property, quail were frolicking as we took in the forestation with fog mingling with the rain to create a pleasurable experience we hope to return to again soon.

In spite of rain coming to Brown County, my fiance' and I celebrated our 20th anniversary at Lil Black Bear Inn, located in a rustic setting. Hosts Jim and Jill couldn't have been more welcoming and gracious. Their complimentary breakfast was a thing of beauty and got our day off to a wonderful start as we dined with other folks who'd also braved the wet elements on their travels to stop at this hamlet. Not far away from anything in Nashville, IN. They are just about 10 minutes east of Town. Jim and Jill were awsome folks and made the stay very welcoming. Nashville, IN is a wonderful place for a getaway.

Everything was excellent except for the bed. The bed was really soft and I felt like I sank into it making it hard to move once laying on it. Otherwise they are fantastic. Jim and Jill cook breakfast for everyone and cook your eggs to your liking. Scrambled eggs are EGGcelent! Peaceful sanctuary by the pond is great too. Loved the property and the inn. My first Bed and Breakfast experience and the only negative was the bed but I still slept.

This was our 2nd stay at Lil black bear inn. It was even more delightful than our 1st stay. Jim and Jill were excellent hosts. Breakfast both days were fantasticly delicious. Jim is humble, great sense of humor, always available. We will come back for another visit next year. It is our home away from home.

This is a B&B not an Inn. An old house conversion in the woods which was a great location. I prefer being able to control the temperature in my space due to heat sensitivity. Breakfast is served only at 9 AM. We woke up early and needed to leave at 8:30 a.m. We got coffee, but nothing to eat. I would’ve been happy with some toast, boiled eggs, and yogurt. The breakfast time was nonnegotiable. I guess I need a little more flexibility and control of my time and space.

James & Jill were super host. Checked us in and showed us around the place. We had full rein of the property, if we wished. The toast at breakfast was excellent along with the cook to order meal. We were quite surprised at how nice the place is and loved it's history

It was quaint and convenient to the concert I attended. The host was helpful and communicated well. Must love bacon! Breakfast was yummy and I enjoyed dining with the other guests. Bacon was plentiful and everything smelled of it, even my clothes when I left : )

We were welcomed at the car with a very friendly hello. WOW! Such a nice place, and such a nice couple that own/run it. Very clean, very comfortable. Coffee service available 24/7. Pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast was worth the price of the room! I felt like royalty, being catered to. We so enjoyed our stay. We will go back there if we should spend the night again. Thanks Jim and Jill for your wonderful hospitality.

Cute little B&B in the woods near where we were running a race and needed a place to stay for one night. The owner was very kind and helpful. The room was clean and neat, all amenities we needed were provided. Wish we could have had breakfast with them in the morning, but our race started before breakfast time!

It's a really neat B&B. The room was clean and cozy. The grounds were well manicured. It had a little pond with goldfish and wilds turkeys everywhere. The host was very cordial and helpful. And the made to order breakfast was excellent!

We had such a delightful day at the little fair Inn. Breakfast was fantastic and the property grounds were beautiful. It was so nice to just sit and enjoy looking at all the flowers, the pond, and enjoying the swings. Our house were absolutely fantastic and very attentive to our needs.
