Hadden de familiekamer op zolder met twee ruime slaapkamers en een kleine badkamer. Te klein voor lange mensen, doordat de wanden schuin zijn. Drie trappen op, er is geen lift. Goed restaurant en heerlijk ontbijt. Wij misten koffie en thee op de kamer of op de verdieping. Het hotel ligt ver buiten het stadje aan een drukke weg. Geen leuke wandeling mogelijk.

Super clean and new, VERY nice. Stayed in the quad room. Views are EXCELLENT. Small issue with air conditioning probably due to english/german communication. Figured it out on my own and WOW air conditioning was Great! Hit our heads a few times as the walls are the roof line and slope in. SO WORTH IT! Loved the views of the Rhine, watch the barges go up and down. Plenty of parking! Close to many castles! Views of Cat Castle. Did I mention the view is Spectacular! Only regret is we could only stay one night. Oh and they have a riverfront restaurant! Loved this place want to come again!

I can't rave about this hotel enough. This is the second time I've stayed there and I purposely planned our trip for an overnight here. We biked from Eltsville to Koblenz and stopped here. They have a secure bike garage. Hotel is right on the Rhine overlooking a castle on the other side. Room is updated and modern and it overlooked the river. Great air conditioning. Dinner is a must - the BEST Sauerbraten in Germany and you have to get their local wine made at their winery. 5 of us went through 2 bottles and we could have had more! Staff is delightful. Breakfast was a feast with all offerings - fresh OJ, meats, cheese and fantastic local honey. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Rooms were clean and comfortable and by European standards a little larger than most. Restaurant at property was very good. Breakfasts also had good variety. A few observations: rooms were a little warm even with the air conditioning on; and while the property is on the Rhine I could not see any common sitting areas where a person could sit and enjoy the view.

We stayed in a family room with two separate sleeping areas. The room had gorgeous views of the Rhine River and a castle! There was ample parking. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The location was great with several options for dining but by a short car ride. We opted for breakfast at the inn which was very good. We had dinner at the in. As well and it was delicious! We purchased a nice bottle of wine from their winery. Be aware there is no lift, so be prepared for stairs! We would stay here again.

Wonderful situation on the Rhein. Ample, free on-site parking. Charming staff. Spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast, both in the selection on offer and quality of food - and no plastic waste! Meat eaters enjoyed a delicious dinner in the restaurant. Veggie choice not so good. The main drawback for older people, or those with mobility problems, was the lack of lift and a rather unforgiving marble staircase. Fortunately, for a one night stay, we were able to leave the suitcase in the car.

Amazing hotel with room overlooking the Rhine River out of a huge window ! The owner and staff are so friendly and kind! The dinner was exceptional, and the dining room enclosed with windows overlooking the Rhine and served by a very attentive and friendly waiter. Great experience! One thing to be aware of is that it is approximately a 2 mile walk from town if you are without car.

We had a lovely overnight stay with stunning views of the Rhine. As it was February we were unable to take advantage of the riverside terrace but we dined well in the restaurant and took advantage of the products of the winery.The only slight criticism is that the breakfast, though good, was expensive.

Very beautiful location and very beautiful facility. The panoramic room was modern and cozy at the same time. Very clean with very friendly and helpful staff, and a magnificent view of the Rhine right outside the window.

We stayed in the family suite with our 3 children, which was very spacious and clean with beautiful views of the Rhine. There was a little playground, ride on toys, and a trampoline outside, which was probably our kids favorite part, and much appreciated by us adults finishing our amazing dinner! The entire staff were friendly and helpful as well, despite our language barrier. Definitely a wonderful place to stay in such a beautiful area!

Mitt emellan järnväg och Rehn med tät och tung trafik är platsen inte charmig även dalen i sin helhet är väldigt vacker. Lägenheten är av äldre snitt och behöver vissa reparationer. Men rent och OK för en natt.

Geweldig uitzicht mooie omgeving. De bedden waren doorgelegen en de kamer muf. Verder prima personeel maar erg saai en wat afgepast. Ontbijt bescheiden maar oké helaas geen cappuccino’s of verse jus alleen koffie met koffiemelk. Leuk hotel op een mooie ligging. Zou het zelf geen drie sterren geven.

Das Hotel hat sehr freundliches Personal und sehr gutes Essen inkl. Weinangebot. Das Zimmer welches wir gebucht hatten war zwar gross, aber wurde wohl seit ca. 20 Jahren nicht mehr erneuert bzw. etwas darin investiert. Eigentlich schade, denn es hat direkte Lage zum Rhein und da könnte man massiv mehr draus machen. Gross war es, aber auch der Balkon draussen war dreckig und deshalb eher nicht so toll.

Das Hotel hat sehr freundliches Personal und sehr gutes Essen inkl. Weinangebot. Das Zimmer welches wir gebucht hatten war zwar gross, aber wurde wohl seit ca. 20 Jahren nicht mehr erneuert bzw. etwas darin investiert. This hotel is quaint and charming with very attentive staff. The restaurant food is superb! It is near train tracks but the windows close out the noise perfectly. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The only thing to be aware of is that it is not in the main town of St.Goar. This isn’t a problem if you have a car or bike. We thought we could walk it but we underestimated how far it is. We had to rely on the local taxi and while very efficient, it cost us 18 euros every trip (each way) which really added up over the few days we were there.

It’s actually a lovely hotel, and the staff are very friendly, but for the price there were some issues with the rooms. There is no AC or ability to turn off the heat and the pillows and blankets were tiny. This is a minor complaint but it’s such an easy fix…

Fantastisk plats, värd och frukost. Det enda var att familjerummet blev otroligt varmt när det var varmt ute. Toppenbra allting i övrigt! Kommer gärna tillbaka men under våren :)

Very nice experience. Only negative was because the family apartment was in the upstairs attic. It was hot. They have a unit in the bedroom to cool and it did well in there but the rest of the apartment was boarder line warm. We were fine with it but I would not be able to handle the summer months there. Maybe another unit would help. Lovely workers lovely location!

Geweldig uitzicht mooie omgeving. De bedden waren doorgelegen en de kamer muf. Verder prima personeel maar erg saai en wat afgepast. Ontbijt bescheiden maar oké helaas geen cappuccino’s of verse jus alleen koffie met koffiemelk. Leuk hotel op een mooie ligging. Zou het zelf geen drie sterren geven.

Very beautiful location and very beautiful facility. The panoramic room was modern and cozy at the same time. Very clean with very friendly and helpful staff, and a magnificent view of the Rhine right outside the window.

We stayed in the family suite with our 3 children, which was very spacious and clean with beautiful views of the Rhine. There was a little playground, ride on toys, and a trampoline outside, which was probably our kids favorite part, and much appreciated by us adults finishing our amazing dinner! The entire staff were friendly and helpful as well, despite our language barrier. Definitely a wonderful place to stay in such a beautiful area!

This hotel is quaint and charming with very attentive staff. The restaurant food is superb! It is near train tracks but the windows close out the noise perfectly. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The only thing to be aware of is that it is not in the main town of St.Goar. This isn’t a problem if you have a car or bike. We thought we could walk it but we underestimated how far it is. We had to rely on the local taxi and while very efficient, it cost us 18 euros every trip (each way) which really added up over the few days we were there.

I can't rave about this hotel enough. This is the second time I've stayed there and I purposely planned our trip for an overnight here. We biked from Eltsville to Koblenz and stopped here. They have a secure bike garage. Hotel is right on the Rhine overlooking a castle on the other side. Room is updated and modern and it overlooked the river. Great air conditioning. Dinner is a must - the BEST Sauerbraten in Germany and you have to get their local wine made at their winery. 5 of us went through 2 bottles and we could have had more! Staff is delightful. Breakfast was a feast with all offerings - fresh OJ, meats, cheese and fantastic local honey. Definitely recommend this hotel!

We had an amazing time at this hotel! The location was beautiful, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The food and wine were a nice addition. Be mindful that the hotel is on the outskirts of town and about a 45 minute walk to town if you are coming in by train. Otherwise, there were no issues or complaints about the Weinhotel! We loved it and would come again if given the opportunity.

Property was clean, but a bit over priced for the lack of amenities. Dinner was good and breakfast was nice. No hot water for tea available. When I asked if they had an electric kettle for the room or hot water for evening tea, I was told no, I’d have to wait until breakfast.

We stayed in a family room with two separate sleeping areas. The room had gorgeous views of the Rhine River and a castle! There was ample parking. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The location was great with several options for dining but by a short car ride. We opted for breakfast at the inn which was very good. We had dinner at the in. As well and it was delicious! We purchased a nice bottle of wine from their winery. Be aware there is no lift, so be prepared for stairs! We would stay here again.

We had a lovely overnight stay with stunning views of the Rhine. As it was February we were unable to take advantage of the riverside terrace but we dined well in the restaurant and took advantage of the products of the winery.The only slight criticism is that the breakfast, though good, was expensive.

We thought we could walk it but we underestimated how far it is. We had to rely on the local taxi and while very efficient, it cost us 18 euros every trip (each way) which really added up over the few days we were there.

Mitt emellan järnväg och Rehn med tät och tung trafik är platsen inte charmig även dalen i sin helhet är väldigt vacker. Lägenheten är av äldre snitt och behöver vissa reparationer. Men rent och OK för en natt.
