I travel to LA for work quite often and it has been hard to find a hotel in which I felt comfortable. The Ivory met my expectations and it’s safe to say that it was a different experience altogether. Luis and the rest staff were very friendly and helpful, the lounge area is a beautiful space where you can enjoy a glass of wine or breakfast, I could relax at the swimming pool, the room was spacious, clean and well decorated, and the bed was comfortable and they gave me a thinner pillow when I requested it. My stay was short so I didn’t get to enjoy the rooftop, but I had a look and I’ll definitely spend some time there during my next stay.

We had a poor experience at The Ivory. For $300+ per night, I would recommend staying elsewhere. The photos online are not reflective of the hotel's actual aesthetic, and it very much feels like a luxury motel or updated apartment building. The images depicted flowers, throw pillows and other decorations in the room; ours was completely sparse and had a bowl of old Easter candy in it. The beds were rock-hard with pilled, scratchy sheets, and we had a cockroach outside our door that was only removed after asking twice. Nothing about it felt luxury or relaxing at all. This place could be ok if they were more honest about the vibe and quality, but it felt like a scam.

This hotel was such a dream. The rooms and lobby well curated, the bathroom amazing and the pool a nice respite. Louise went over the top to help make my 50th birthday memorable. Great location in KoreaTown. A lovely stay. Thank you!

Phenomenal new boutique hotel in a great location. The entire team is welcoming and goes above and beyond to make your stay special. Beautifully designed property all around - room was spacious, clean and comfortable with great views. Nice to relax on the rooftop with a cocktail in the evening. Overall experience reminded me of some 5-star boutique properties I’ve stayed at in Europe. A real gem. Looking forward to coming back!
