Really nice check in with handy parking in a quiet location. Well appointed clean room right on the vineyard. Didn’t eat there as they had a set menu banquet on the weekend. Comfy bed even with the old fashioned over head light on the bed head. Nice staff pleasant views

Stayed for overnight .property is at peaceful place far from disturbances.lacked signage around the property,hard to find where the rooms were.need more lighting inside the property.we loved the place .reception was friendly too .restaurant bit pricey so had to source food from 15kms from the property.all amenities are 15kms away but understandable .will visit again if needed

We liked the heritage property and history of the buildings. The room we were in was large and had everything we needed. The only negative was the difficulty parking near Room 28 in the Servant Quarters. We are both over 70 years of age and didn't want to have to walk 50-100 metres to carry our luggage. The very small parking space was taken over by two trucks. Guests i presume.

Nice enough resort. The cottage we had was not in the best state of repair and was full of cockroaches. The insect screens were broken. We chose it because of the winery and restaurant, but it was closed while we were there.

It was very disappointing. The room smelt very musty, the carpet looked very old and the whole room is in need of replacement. Whilst “antique” furniture may be in keeping with the age of the property the furniture in our room was more than past its best. There were cobwebs on the door and dead insects trapped in the window- which also needed cleaning. The television is situated above the sink which makes viewing somewhat awkward.

Linen not clean no bins outside hooks back of bathroom door broken. TV is in dangerous place over sink. cut my head on TV. toilet leaks. not enough storage 4 a week. not a Queen Bed. not enough bench space. We would not recommend this place.

The property is not as represented on the web - the rooms are filled with spiders ( we had the plumbers shop) and they don’t disclose adequately that you may have to walk up stairs inside the room to sleep with bed top and bathroom below .. so make sure you are healthy enough to go up and down at night to go to bathroom is fun. Back spider issue this was not one or two we are talking dirty rooms filled with all sorts of spiders .. spider webs that you could tell are not even being cleaned by the cleaning team ( sheets were clean but we had to pull beds away from walls because of this ) This is one of the worst stays I have ever had in my life - highly do not recommend this - we almost stayed in our car it was that bad !!!!

It is a beautiful property - the grounds are well kept and attractive and we appreciated the heritage buildings. The room was well equipped and the bed very comfortable. However, it was very musty and there were a lot of cobwebs within the room, and a few spiders. A thorough clean and dust and a good carpet deodoriser would help. There was no information in the room at all about facilities or anything, but we found out that the restaurant only opens on weekends. We drove into Nowra for food. We got a half price deal midweek which was great but would not want to pay full price for our experience and will probably not return.

The accommodation itself was not very comfortable, not very clean, the fridge was turned off at the power point and we didn’t know till the next day when nothing was getting cold. Aircon only in the bedroom and not downstairs where we spent most of our time. Very dark in our room.

The rooms were clean and tidy with very comfortable beds and plenty of room. Nice to have a kitchenette but would like a few cooking utensils. Beautiful surroundings and very relaxing atmosphere. The outside needs a bit of maintenance.

The way they preserve the history of the place was awesome. Saying that they should take care of the hygiene of the place. Cockroaches were crawling and it looked like the place has not been cleaned since weeks. Cockroach dropping were spotted on the kitchen top. Bedsheet was sandy.

We have been to this property ages ago. It was wonderful back then. We came back for the memory and short break. Well the office was closed and we only saw a person when we checked out. Oh and there was a friendly worker guy but it was as if we were not there. I certainly did not feel welcome. Very anonymous. The restaurant where we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast years ago was closed. Permanently. We were told we could get a 'breakfast pack'. No thanks. In the two days we stayed it was so empty and isolated. The bathroom ceiling had a 'skylight' makeshift from perspex. It fell in almost and my hubby had to get on a chair to lift it up to secure it. The chair itself, thank God it didn't collapse. No he is not a heavy guy. Heaps of dirt and bugs fell out of the ceiling when he put it back. The fan in the bathroom didn't work. It was a nice stay but its just getting so run down this property. The scenery is magnificent though. And it is comfortable sort of. But the wifi doesn't really work properly and drops out all the time so you got to keep logging in. It's relatively clean though apart from the above and would be a great place to stay if there were more people to chat with over a cuppa in a cafe or a breakfast or something. You got to drive like 10 minutes to find a bowling club and certainly no shops. Would be nice if it had a shop also to buy things. Like cake, coffee, chips, ice cream, snacks etc. This place could really be jumping if they became more people friendly.

Historic property with remodelled buildings. We stayed in former owners cabin. Large but limited lighting, AC not made large rooms, bathroom fine, property excellent, reception closes at 5 PM, property in midst of estate's vineyard, an excellent free bottle of their white wine. You need a car to access local shops and dining except lunch at facility. We loved it but it has limitations for some folks.

I really liked the historical buildings and beautiful landscape. However, the room had no good WiFi connection, no complimentary tea bags, no useful knife (only cheese knife), no proper ceiling light; and the only window could not be opened (stuck).

Beautiful location. While I understand it is a historic property rooms were in need of maintenance. Sad and tired furnishings. Self checkin is a great idea but the property needs to provide better instructions and the self check in mechanism needs to work. Overpriced for basic accommodation.

After a horrible drive down, it was cold wet & dark. The self check in didn't work but Ben happily came out to give us a key, to get in & a quick tour of the property.

We have been to this property ages ago. It was wonderful back then. We came back for the memory and short break. Well the office was closed and we only saw a person when we checked out. Oh and there was a friendly worker guy but it was as if we were not there. I certainly did not feel welcome. Very anonymous. The restaurant where we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast years ago was closed. Permanently. We were told we could get a 'breakfast pack'. No thanks. In the two days we stayed it was so empty and isolated. The bathroom ceiling had a 'skylight' makeshift from perspex. It fell in almost and my hubby had to get on a chair to lift it up to secure it. The chair itself, thank God it didn't collapse. No he is not a heavy guy. Heaps of dirt and bugs fell out of the ceiling when he put it back. The fan in the bathroom didn't work. It was a nice stay but its just getting so run down this property. The scenery is magnificent though. And it is comfortable sort of. But the wifi doesn't really work properly and drops out all the time so you got to keep logging in. It's relatively clean though apart from the above and would be a great place to stay if there were more people to chat with over a cuppa in a cafe or a breakfast or something. This is not a 4 star facility, it appears that there has been minimal maintenance in recent times. The AC had broken louvers which vibrated loudly making it useless, the TV worked for a maximum of 10 minutes, the front doors didn't lock properly and the back door couldn't be opened. The restaurant is only open Saturday nights and it appears that this is for the sole benefit of wedding parties. Staff are pretty thin on the ground although those we met in the winery were both friendly and efficient. Overall it was a very disappointing experience which we will not repeat.

The accommodation was ok for what it was. comfortable with a rich history of the buildings and the vinyard. Its not accommodation if u expect luxury but it was nice. However the restaurant was closed. The chef had quit. No warning no information during the booking process regarding the restaurant being closed. We booked wanting to stay not drive and experience the restaurant and wines. Not to be. So we just left the next morning a tad disappointed with the service

Nice enough resort. The cottage we had was not in the best state of repair and was full of cockroaches. The insect screens were broken. We chose it because of the winery and restaurant, but it was closed while we were there.

It is a beautiful property - the grounds are well kept and attractive and we appreciated the heritage buildings. The room was well equipped and the bed very comfortable. However, it was very musty and there were a lot of cobwebs within the room, and a few spiders. A thorough clean and dust and a good carpet deodoriser would help. There was no information in the room at all about facilities or anything, but we found out that the restaurant only opens on weekends. We drove into Nowra for food. We got a half price deal midweek which was great but would not want to pay full price for our experience and will probably not return.

Really nice check in with handy parking in a quiet location. Well appointed clean room right on the vineyard. Didn’t eat there as they had a set menu banquet on the weekend. Comfy bed even with the old fashioned over head light on the bed head. Nice staff pleasant views

The resort is well maintained given the age of most of the accommodation options. Clean & comfortable but our accommodation didn’t have air con which wasn’t needed so check if it is hot when you are staying. Friendly staff. No breakfast or dinner options available but only a short drive for these.

When booking in an “Estate” we were expecting an elegant peaceful place ….. WRONG… we ended up in a former garage-barn quickly and cheaply renovated at 15 meters from a busy road…, The feeling of sleeping next to the highway…. To be avoided.

My biggest issue was the step down into the bathroom. Nearly broke my ankle. Very rustic but the septic system combined with the premises being closed up was reminiscent of my plumbing days. The lack of an eating facility on the estate was a surprise. Need to buy your beer and food items in Nowra. Closest dining is the “Bowlo”.

This is a 200 year old property that has been lovingly restored. The reception currently closes at 2 in this wintertime but if you email someone will get back to you. They organised the booking for me. I arrived after midnight. The air conditioning unit is quite sufficient. Much better than most hotels. There was a small portable heater I popped into the bathroom to warm it and the bedroom attached while I had a 3 hour sleep and it was wonderfully cosy. Made starting the day much easier! I chose this property specifically for its location and unique features. I stayed in the Convict Cottage. Great lighting in the bathroom, double shower, over mirror lighting. Large built in robe with cute barn doors in white and modern frameless with comfortable not too soft, not too firm and very smooth linens. Overhead light and also nice bright warm coloured vintage style lamps. The mini fridge is actually cold and big enough for a large takeaway bag, has a freezer area that is cold enough. Clean and shiny sink and windows in the kitchenette that let natural light in. The bedroom is separate. It is not a studio in case the pictures aren’t clear. It has its own front and backyard and you can park just outside the hedges in front of the path. Couldn’t get my phone or iPad to hotspot to the tv so consider a portable modem for a longer stay. Free to air works perfectly. I will be staying again very soon.
